When the two got to the lake, the sun was almost right above their heads. The crystal clear water shimmered in the sunlight as Luvdiscs, Magikarps, Feebases, and a few other water Pokemon swam in the lake. Around the lake were a few berry trees but there wasn't a trainer in sight.

   "The Pokemon are the only ones who know about this lake. You're the first trainer to have ever come here!" Aki paused for a moment, "Well... besides my father. My mother showed us this place before..." She trailed off before looking out over the lake. She quickly ran to the lake and started swimming. "Dan c'mon in! The water is great!" Aki yelled before diving underwater. Dan chuckled before taking his shirt off to go swimming. Dan waded in and started looking for the blonde maiden. 

   "Aki! Aki where did you go?" Dan yelled out but his only answer was him getting splashed then a giggle. He turned around to see the 17-year-old smiling, "Right here!!" He smirked and splashed her back. They splashed each other for a few minutes then Dan stopped.

   "I have to get out for a bit, ok?" Dan said as he started walking out of the water, followed by the girl. 

   "I'll get out too. It's no fun to swim by myself.." When Dan was on the shore of the lake, he sent Blaze out, who happily greeted the two then laid down. 

   "We can lean against Blaze if you'd like to," Dan mentioned as he leaned up against his Legendary Pokemon. Aki nodded and sat down beside the redhead and looked up at the sky. The sun was warm on the early summer day and the calm summer breeze felt wonderful. The girl soon found herself falling asleep and quickly did. "It's a nice day. I can see why you wanted to come to the lake today." Dan said to Aki, but there was no reply. "Aki?" He looked over at her to see that she had fallen asleep. He smiled and closed his eyes and fell asleep as well.
