" mia wake up " jack said. " what's going on " i said kinda loudly. " shh stay quite " he said. " wait why what's going on " i asked quitely. " there is someone in the hospital that has a gun " he said. " wait what " i said. " yea i locked the door already now come on we are going to put on your clothes just in case " he said. ( start song now ) i nodded my head and took the pain killers on the table tray next to me. i stood up in pain and started putting on my clothes when we heard banging on the door. " GUYS GUYS LET ME IN PLEASE " we heard someone say on the other side of the door. " NO GO AWAY LEAVE US ALONE " jack yelled. " GUYS COME ON OPEN THE DOOR I'M OUT HERE WITH THE GUY WITH A GUN HELP ME " he yelled again. " wait jack is that zach " i asked. " ZACH IS THAT YOU " i yelled. " YES NOW PLEASE LET ME IN HE'S AROUND THE CORNER " he yelled. " HEY YOU SHUT UP BEFORE I SHOOT YOU " the other guy said. " NO NO PLEASE JUST LEAVE AND I WON'T TELL ANYONE WHO YOU ARE OR WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE JUST PLEASE DONT SHO-" he said until a gunshot went off. " NOOO ZACH " i said trying my hardest to run out the door. " MIA YOU CAN'T " jack said. " JACK IT'S ZACH " i yelled opening the door. when i opened the door i looked down the hallway and saw the guy standing there shocked. he dropped the gun and ran off i looked over at zach and saw him bleeding badly. " NO NO NO listen to me zach don't worry ok you will make it i promise " i said crying. " mia i-i-i cannn'ttt bbrreatth " he struggled to say. " no no keep your eyes open " i said covering the spot he got shot at and holding it down so he wouldn't lose anymore blood. " HELP HELP MY FRIEND GOT SHOT SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE " jack yelled. " miiaa ii'mm soo sorryy yoouu neevveerr goot to meett thhhe babyy ii mightt meett hiim befforee youu doo sorryy " he said. " hey no don't talk like that i can't lose you too ok i need my little brother " i said crying. a couple of seconds pass when some nurses come with a stretcher. " ma'am i need you to step back ok " a nurse said. " ok " i said stepping back. they picked him up and put him on the stretcher. " miaa call my mom" he struggled to say. " i will zach don't worry " i said. " tell her to leave my brother and sister at home i don't want them to see me like this " he said. " ok i will " i said. " excuse me we have to go now or he could die " the nurse said. " please save his life " i said. " we will try the best i can " the nurse said. they ran off with him and i walked back inside my room and saw jack sitting there crying. " jack honey are you ok " i asked walking up to him. " no my son died today and my bestfriend might die too " he said crying. " don't say that he will make it i promise you " i said rubbing his back. " how do you know mia huh you know everything huh maybe you knew that the baby was going to die so you killed him " he said looking at me. " wow jack i cant believe you just said that to me " i said. i walked away from him and started putting on my clothes. when i was done i grabbed all my stuff and walked out the door. ok i need to call zach's mom now so she can know.

Myta (zach's mom ): hello

Mia: hello myta

Myta: yes who is this

Mia: oh it's mia

Myta: oh hello mia before you start talking do you know where zach

Mia: um that's actually what i'm calling you for

Myta: why mia what's going on

Mia: as you know i just lost my baby

Myta: yea so

Mia: well zach came back to the hospital during the night while it was on lockdown

Myta: why was it on lockdown

Mia: because there was a man in the hospital with a gun and when jack woke me up we heard knocking on the door and we didn't know who it was so we didn't open the door until it was too late

Myta: who was at the door

Mia: zach

Myta: where is he i need to talk to him

Mia: he got shot so he's in surgery right now

Myta: wait what mia i need to talk to him now

Mia: i'm sorry but you can't right now

Myta: i'm on my way

Mia: ok he said to leave the kids behind

Myta: ok i'm going to bring daniel though

Mia: ok see you in a bit

Myta: ok

i hung up the phone and took a deep breath. I went and sat down in the waiting area with jack. After a couple of minutes Myta and Daniel ran in. " WHERE IS MY SON " she yelled running up to me. " still in surgery " I said. " OMG OMG OMG " she said. She stood there and broke down in tears. I stood up and hugged her tightly. " why him why did any of this happen " she cried in my arms. She started to sink down to the ground so I sunk down with her still holding her. " I don't know I'm so sorry kyta I rlly am " I said.
