The snack pack continued down the snowy forest.
And again they encountered Papyrus and Sans with another puzzle.
"Well," Sighs Branch, "I guess we're doing this again."
"HEY! IT'S THE TROLLS!" Says Papyrus, "YOU ARE ALL GONNA LOVE THIS PUZZLE! IT WAS MADE BY THE GREAT DR. ALPHYS!"
"Who is Dr.Alphys?" Asked Smidge.
"she's the royal scientist." Replied Sans.
"YOU SEE THESE TILES?" Continued Papyrus, "ONCE I THROW THE SWITCH, THEY WILL BEGIN TO CHANGE COLOR! EACH COLOR HAS A DIFFERENT FUNCTION!" He starts a long explanation of the purpose of the colors. "RED TILES ARE IMPASSABLE! YOU CANNOT WALK ON THEM! YELLOW TILES ARE ELECTRIC! THEY WILL ELECTROCUTE YOU ALL. GREEN TILES ARE ALARM TILES. IF YOU STEP ON THEM, YOU WILL HAVE TO FIGHT A MONSTER! ORANGE TILES ARE ORANGE-SCENTED. THEY WILL MAKE YOU SMELL DELICIOUS. BLUE TILES ARE WATER TILES. SWIM THROUGH THEM IF YOU LIKE, BUT IF YOU SMELL LIKE ORANGES, THE PIRANHAS WILL BITE YOU! ALSO, IF A BLUE TILE IS NEXT TO A YELLOW TILE, THE WATER WILL ZAP YOU! PURPLE TILES ARE SLPIIERY. YOU WILL SLIDE TO THE NEXT TILE. HOWEVER, THE SLIPPERY SOAP SMELLS LIKE LEMONS! WHICH PIRANHAS DO NOT LIKE. PURPLE AND BLUE TILES ARE OKAY. FINALLY, PINK TILES. THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING. STEP ON THEM ALL YOU LIKE. HOW WAS THAT? UNDERSTAND?"
The snack pack were all confused, except for the pink tiles and red tiles part.
"Uhhhh?" Said Poppy, "I think we all understood."
"GREAT! THERE'S ONE LAST THING. THIS PUZZLE... IS ENTIRELY RANDOM!! WHEN I PULL THIS SWITCH, IT WILL MAKE A PUZZLE THAT HAS NEVER SEEN BEFORE! NOT EVEN I WILL KNOW THE SOLUTION! NYEH HEH HEH! GEAT READY!!"
Papyrus pulls the switch and the tiles start mixing colors. The colors mixed faster and faster and faster. Until the tiles stopped mixing and the whole floor was pink! Papyrus got very dizzy and spun away.
"there's another thing about my bro." Said Sans.
"And what's that?" Asked Guy Diamond.
"He started to cooking lessons." Replied Sans, "he made spaghetti one time, and it wasn't too bad for my brother. he's been improving a lot. i bet if he keeps it up, he'll make something edible."
"Oh, ok." Said Cooper.
The snack pack again continued to the forest. They reach a long bridge and cross over it. Just as they were on the middle of the bridge, they encountered Sans and Papyrus at the end of the bridge.
"TROLLS!" Said Papyrus, "THIS IS YOUR FINAL AND MOST DANGEROUS CHALLENGE! BEHOLD!! THE GAUNTLET OF DEADLY TERROR!!"
Cannons, blades, flames, and spikes started to appear. This shocked the snack pack except for Branch, he was surprised.
"Wow!" Said Branch with surprise, "Now this is what I like for my bunker!"
"WHEN I SAY THE WORD, IT WILL FULLY ACTIVATE! CANNONS WILL FIRE! SPIKES WILL SWING! BLADES WILL SLICE! EACH PART WILL SWING VIOLENTLY UP AND DOWN! ONLY THE TINIEST CHANCE OF VICTORY WILL REMAIN! ARE YOU READY?! BECAUSE I AM ABOUT TO DO IT!!!!"
Papyrus gets ready to activate the weapons, when suddenly, nothing happens. The snack pack were confused.
"Why is nothing happening?" Asked Chinelle.
"well? what's the holdup?" Asked Sans.
"HOLDUP?" Replied Papyrus, "WHAT HOLDUP? I'M... I'M ABOUT TO ACTIVATE IT NOW!"
Nothing still happens.
"that, uh, doesn't look very activated." Said Sans.
"WELL! THIS CHALLENGE... IT SEEMS... MAYBE... TOO EASY TO DEFEAT THE TROLLS WITH. YEAH! WE CANT USE THIS ONE. I AM A SKELETON WITH STANDARDS! MY PUZZLES ARE VERY FAIR. AND MY TRAPS ARE EXPERTLY COOKED. BUT THIS METHOD IS TOO DIRECT. NO CLASS AT ALL! AWAY IT GOES!"
The weapons start to go away. Papyrus sees the trolls again.
"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT? THIS WAS ANOTHER DECISIVE VICTORY FOR PAPYRUS! NYEH! HEH! HEH?"
He leaves. The snack pack exit the bridge and went to Sans.
"i don't know what my brother's gonna do now." Said Sans.
"I'm sure it will be alright." Replied Biggie.
The snack pack arrive at a town. There was a sign that read: "Welcome to Snowdin Town!" The sight of such a friendly town fills them with determination.
