Alex: what?!

(Inside the gym)

Troy heard Alex's voice.

Troy: guys, it's Alex

Mike: sounds like he is in shock

Carlo: well it's Lexi he's talking to

Emma: come on, let's see

The group went outside the gym and found Alex talking with Lexi, the group hid behind a bush and listened.

Alex: you had a crush on me?!

Lexi nodded.

Alex: what made you, the captain of the high school cheer squad have interest in a nerdy and handsome guy like me?

Lexi: I don't know, it's just every time I see you, I feel all giddy inside

Alex: why didn't you tell me then?

Lexi: I didn't want my friends to make fun of me; a pretty and popular girl like me have a crush on a nerdy guy like you

Alex: how did I became such your target?

Lexi: it's just you look so hot when you wear glasses

Alex chuckled and smirked.

Alex: you're joking, aren't you?

Lexi: no, I'm serious

Alex: okay, if you're serious about it, why didn't you tell me?

Lexi: because I was shy

Alex: shy?!

Lexi: that's the whole reason why I bullied you, I wanted to get your attention, but I was too shy

Alex: you had other ways besides tormenting me and it didn't happen because you were too shy, and being popular and the captain of the cheerleaders, that's a strange concept

There was a moment of silence between the two.

Lexi: will you ever forgive me for all those things I did to you?

The Certified Public Accountant thought about it while Lexi had a look hoping that Alex will forgive her.

Alex gave out a big sigh.

Alex: Lexi listen, what I did at the bar was so immature of me and I felt really bad and I regretted of what I did

Lexi listened to Alex's heartfelt apology.

Alex: I'm sorry Lexi

Lexi: Alex, I'm sorry too

Lexi: so are we cool now?

Alex: we're friends now

He held his hand out for her to shake, but Lexi put his hand down and hugged him instead. The CPA was surprised by this, but he hugged her back. Then they heard a rustling sound behind them.

Lexi: what was that?

Alex: sounds like it's coming from the bush behind us

The two walked behind the bush and saw the group.

Alex: what the hell you guys doing back there?

Emma: just hanging around

Troy: you two sounded like you made up

Alex: yes, but can me and Lexi be alone?

The group nodded and they went back inside the school gym.

Alex: it's weird that someone as pretty as you is shy to show her feelings

Lexi lightly blushed.

Alex: but I do have something to confess as well

Lexi: oh, what is it?

Alex: since I saw you on WWE for the first time, I couldn't help to see how beautiful and cute you are

Lexi heavily blushed.

Alex: and I uh, started to develop a crush on you

Lexi's cheeks was now a darker shade of red.

Lexi: that's so cute of you. May I ask, do you still have a crush on me?

Alex looked down and smiled.

Alex: yeah, I do

Lexi felt her cheeks getting hot.

Alex: now I ask you, are you still interested in me?

Lexi: yes...

The accountant's eyes widen as Lexi blushed harder and hid her face.

Alex: wow, a WWE Superstar has a crush on me

She playfully slapped his arm.

Lexi: so uh, what are you doing tomorrow?

Alex: I'm gonna be at work, why?

Lexi: I was wondering if you want to have some coffee with me?

Alex: is this a date, Kaufman?

Lexi: y-you can say it is

Alex: but let me check my schedule first

He looked through his phone and saw his schedule was clear for tomorrow.

Alex: it looks like I'm free tomorrow

Lexi: great, but give me your phone

Alex: okay...

He gave her his phone; Lexi put her number in and gave Alex his phone back.

Lexi: I'll look forward to bother you everyday

Alex: and be making fun of by my staff; yup, looking forward to it

She giggled.

Alex: want to head back inside?

Lexi: sure!

The two stood up and Alex held out his arm for her. She was surprised by his gesture, but happily locked her arm with his.

The two joined the rest of the group and talked about their crazy high school memories.

After an hour, the reunion party ended and everyone started to go home. Alex and Mike were about to get into their car until Lexi stopped them.

Lexi: Alex wait!

Alex: anything wrong, Lexi?

Lexi: uh, is okay if you can drop me home?

Alex: yeah sure, hop in; Mike, go sit at the back

Lexi opened the car door and sat in the front passenger seat. Then Alex started the car and drove off.

(25 minutes later)

Lexi: stop here, Alex

Alex stopped in front of a big house.

Lexi: this is my place

Alex: nice house you have

Lexi: thanks, well good night

She got out of the car, but as Lexi was about to get in, Alex said something.

Alex: take care, Lexi!

She smiled and waved before the car left. Lexi went into her house where she was greeted by her dogs Frankie, Teddy and Izzy and her pig Larry Steve. She sat down on the couch and had a big smile on her face; she was also blushing lightly as she thought to herself.

Lexi's mind: I love you, Alex

(With Alex)

After dropping Mike off, Alex went into his house where he was greeted by his pet husky dog, Ezio. Alex adopted Ezio since the husky was just a little pup, and for years the dog shared a strong bond with his owner.

Alex: hey boy

Alex patted and rubbed Ezio's face. The accountant sat down on the couch and the husky laid down beside him.

Alex: you wouldn't believe it boy, my high school bully is a WWE Superstar.

Ezio barked in surprise.

Alex: I know, I was surprised

Ezio: *barks*

Alex: yeah, I forgave her because I said something that hurt her

Ezio: *barks*

Alex: oh even you? Yes, it was immature for me to hold my anger for her for more than a decade. For a dog, you understand me well

Ezio barked happily as he wagged his tail.

Alex: well let's get some shut eye boy; I have work tomorrow and lunch with Lexi.

Ezio: *barks*

Alex: no, it's not a lunch date

They went into the bedroom and slept. Alex stayed awake for a bit as he thought to himself.

Alex's mind: am I developing feelings for Lexi?

He shrugged it off as he closed his eyes.
