Introduction: Will It Ever Stop?
Tick tock. That's all I hear when I sit in class for 42 minutes, staring at the clock hoping something different will happen for once. I feel my chair being pulled out from underneath me. I'm not surprised when I see Odette and her army of Prada wearing demons laughing at their victory. "Ms. Hills! Must you cause so much ruckus?" Mrs. Tillet said as if I was something on the bottom of her shoe. I thought about telling what happened, but then I came to my senses. It wouldn't even matter because no matter what I said, it would've ended with another round of my favorite game, basically every time anyone says anything Mrs. Tillet talks like it's a game of jeopardy. She answers everything with a question. My personal favorite is "What do you want to use the bathroom for?"
"Sorry Ma'am" I said trying not to trigger the question button. I continued reading my book, and saw Mrs. Tillet try to tell the class she's going to "powder her nose." I use that word try very intensely. "Psst! Psst! Patricia!" Odette said as if we haven't been in the same class since kindergarten. "It's Penelope, and did you want something? " I said. Odette looked like I was Martin Luther trying to nail the 95 thesis to her forehead. "Hello?" I said trying to confirm that I am allowed to talk to her. "Why do I even bother talking to you?" Odette said as she grabbed the test I finished in the first five minutes of the period. "Hey! Give it back!" I said. "Is she actually talking back?" One of her clone demons said. "Why do you want it anyway?" I said trying to grab the test. "Well I didn't study, and you have the highest grade in the class." Odette said with a smirk as big as the Cheshire Cat. I went for one more grab before her macho boyfriend pounded my head against the desk. I just stared at the clock , slowly going unconscious. All I could hear was the never-ending noise. Tick tock.
