P.O.V. Third

The male that was hunting King was currently walking down the streets of the kingdom he was staying in. From what he had heard King hadn't left the city yet so he was still determined to hunt him down and make him pay for what he had done. 

However as he was walking he noticed a female with long black hair and beautiful red eyes the Rubik found vexing. After a few seconds had passed Rubik began to notice that he was staring at the female and shook his head to clear his mind of these thoughts. He had to after all if he wanted to find King and make him pay for what he had done.

As Rubik continued to walk down the streets he saw the male that he was looking for and prepared to attack him. Once again hoping to catch the male off guard like he had done each time he had tried to attack him before. However he stopped when he saw a rather female walk towards the male. 

He had seen King talking to her a lot lately and she was usually around King. It seemed like the two were close to say the least. However despite this fact the male stopped his attack waited until he thought it would be safe to attack. After all just because King was evil doesn't mean that she was as evil as he was, or that she was evil at all for that matter. 

Deciding to instead follow the two he kept what he thought was a safe distance and watched as the two spent most of the day together. However compared to what Rubik had seen of King before he was more than surprised to see that this King seemed much more calm and composed as usual. 

Almost as if he were trying to impress the female he was with. Rubik then saw the female that he had seen from earlier that day walking towards the two and the two female's began to talk for a few moments before Squiggly gestured towards the male beside her. Rubik then watched as the two shook hands and began to talk for a few more minutes before they went their separate ways. 

At this point it was becoming more than obvious that King and Squiggly were going to be spending the rest of the day together. Which meant that Rubik wouldn't have the chance to attack him without putting her at risk as well. So abandoning his current plan for one that he thought was better he left the building that he was standing on top of and landed in a street that he had seen Filia go down. 

"Excuse me miss," Rubik said as he motioned for the female in an attempt to gain her attention. This of course worked and Filia looked at the male as he walked towards her. 

"Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?" Rubik asked as he looked at the female. When he asked this Filia seemed a little confused but nodded. 

"Sure," Filia said as she stared at the male. Rubik nodded hearing this and looked around showing some slight paranoia. 

"Maybe not here, I'd like to talk somewhere else maybe somewhere a bit more private," Rubik said as he looked around for any buildings that he thought was interesting. He then saw what appeared to be an ice cream shop and pointed towards it. "Maybe there," Rubik said as he looked at the female. 

Filia looked at the building he was pointing at, and remained silent for a few moments as if she were thinking about his offer. "Sure," Filia once again said as the two began to make their way towards the building. As soon as they walked in Rubik noticed that building had almost unhealthy obsession with the color pink seeing as how almost every part of the inside was covered in it. 

Ignoring this fact that he found somewhat strange, Rubik took a seat at one of the many spots that were available. "So what is it you wanted to know?" Filia asked as she looked at the male in front of her.

"Earlier you were talking to a female with blue skin and a male that has white hair and purple eyes. what did they say?" Rubik asked as he looked at the female in front of him. Filia was a bit confused hearing this but decided to answer the question nonetheless. 

"The girl with blue skin is my friend. Her name is Squiggly and we met a while ago in some rather odd circumstances. She helped me out a small bit, and now we're friends. It's been a while since I last saw her so when I saw her on the streets today of course I took the time to talk to her and see how she was doing," Filia said as she looked at the male in front of her. 

"I see, and the male?" Rubik asked as he looked at the female in front of him. Rubik didn't want to seem rude since Squiggly was Filia's friend, but he honestly had very little interest in the female herself and was far more interested in the male that she was usually with. 

Filia however seemed a bit upset at the mention of the male. "That's her new boyfriend, they've apparently been going out for a while and she wanted to introduce me to him since she had the chance," Filia said a bit irritated as the waitress place two large cups of ice cream in front of them. 

Filia sighed hearing this and took her cup. "Figures she'd get a boyfriend before me," Filia said somewhat sad about the subject. Rubik tensed up slightly hearing this and looked at the female. He found it a little hard to believe that she wasn't seeing anyone especially with how beautiful she appeared to be. 

The waitress smiled hearing this as she watched the two drink from their cups clearly unaware of where they were. "Welcome to pink heart the place where couples meet. If there's anything I can get or do for you then feel free to ask me," The female said as she walked away leaving the two to become several shades darker. 

The two then stood in silence fore a few moments before Rubik finally decided to speak. "I didn't realize this place had such a reputation. I-If I had known I would have-" Rubik began only to stop when the female chuckled slightly. 

"It's fine," She said waving her hands rather dismissively. "I don't mind being seen a date with you. After all you seem like a nice guy," Filia said as she looked at the male in front of her. Rubik's face turned a much darker shade of red hearing this and Rubik took another drink from his cup causing Filia to once again chuckle slightly. 

After this Rubik stood up and looked at the female. "I-It's getting kind of late," Rubik said as he held out one of his hands. "I can walk you home if you want," Rubik said as he scratched the back of his head showing how nervous he was about suggesting something like that. 

He had lived in a small village and had been raised to use magic so he never considered the possibility of having any type of romance with someone. Especially not with someone who lived in a completely different country than him. Filia smiled seeing this and took the male's arms as she stood up. Rubik's face once again turned red seeing this and the two began to walk down the streets together. 

However as they were Rubik noticed King and Squiggly out of the corner of his eye and turned to look at the two. He saw Squiggly leaning her head on King's shoulder and King with his head gently on top of hers. The two were on a bench and they seemed to be sleeping rather peacefully. 

It was strange for Rubik to see this, since in his mind King was nothing but a villain who wanted nothing more than to kill everyone in his way. Yet when he was with her, King almost seemed normal. It was a strange sight for Rubik indeed. The male then turned his attention back to Filia and saw that she was smiling slightly. 

'Is love really that great of a thing? That it can turn even the most ruthless and cold hearted person into someone that doesn't want to hurt anyone?' Rubik thought to himself as he looked at the female. 'If it is, then . . . I think I should give it a chance as well,' Rubik thought to himself as he came to a stop in front of a large mansion. 

Rubik stared at the massive building more than surprised to find out that this is where the female lived. "Thanks, despite the fact that we didn't really know we were on a date until it was halfway over . . . I still had fun," Filia said as she looked at the male in front of her. Rubik smiled hearing this and nodded. 

"Yeah, in a weird way I'm glad that things happened the way that they did," Rubik said a she looked at the female in front of him. Filia smiled hearing this and opened the door and looked at the male with a somewhat worries expression. 

"I hope this doesn't disappoint you, but I was taught to not kiss on the first date," Filia said as she looked at the male in front of her. Rubik shook his head hearing this and smiled. 

"No it's fine, I had fun. I look forward to seeing you again," Rubik said as he looked at the female before realizing what he just said and looking away a little nervously. "I will see you again right?" Rubik asked as he looked at the female. 

Filia smiled and nodded hearing this. "Definitely," She said as she slowly closed the door and began to walk to her room. Rubik smiled hearing this and jumped showing some of his excitement in the process before continuing to walk away.
