After the first night at the stable, we chose to venture onward to the mountain. Link was confident we could make it to the village by tonight if we kept a steady pace. His confidence made me confident, so I put my mind to making it there by tonight no matter what. We began the walk to the base of the mountain, and he explained a bit more of what the hike would be like. The main point is lots and lots of climbing. I wasn't too excited about the climbing, but I was going to push through. I've been through worse than a little mountain.

We finally reach the base and Link stops, his hands confidently planted at his hips as he looks onward at a pile of jagged rocks leading up to a small ledge. He didn't mention these pointy rocks!

"Our first hurdle begins!" Link says and hops over the jagged rocks before turning around to help me up. "This is about as easy as it gets." He warns. This is as easy as it gets? This pile of dangerous and sharp rocks, what have I agreed to? Nonetheless, I can't back out now.

"I'm ready for anything!" I tell him, I had spent the entire walk over here hyping myself up for the climb. I'm determined to do it.

"Great! We're just gonna follow the river all the way to the top." He says. "If you ever get lost just follow the river, or float down if you're brave enough." I laugh. The first part seemed somewhat self explanatory, there isn't much going on aside from the river. However the second part had be questioning Links methods on traveling.

"Have you done that before?"

"I tried." I laugh again. "Theres also a few bridges to cross, the first few are a bit sketchy but the closer we get the sturdier they are." I raise an eyebrow. Bridges? Sketchy bridges?

"You conveniently failed to mention any bridge." I look over at him.

"I promise they're not scary, and I'll be there no matter what." He takes my hand into his, placing a kiss on the back of it.

We continued on the hike, climbing ledges and crossing "bridges" that were just literal logs laid across the river. I wasn't happy at the fact I had to balance my way across a mossy wet log but Link kept an iron grip on me every time we crossed. I didn't feel very safe but whats an adventure without a bit of risk.

"You're doing great." Link helps me off of a log and takes my hand in his as we continue up the mountain.

"Are you going to hold my hand the whole way?" I tease. He gives my hand a squeeze before shooting me a slight smirk.

"Does it bother you?"

"No, not at all. I just feel like you do it more for yourself than me." He chuckles.

"I enjoy holding hands with the girl I like, what else can I say." I feel myself blush hearing his words. Hes just admitted to liking me. I felt like I was in the clouds replaying his words in my head. Link likes me.

"I like you too." I tell him. He places a gentle kiss against my hand.

"I'm glad." He smiles and we stop reaching another tall ledge. We take our bags off before Link swings them up over the ledge. He looks back down at me. "Ready?" I nod. He quickly maneuvers his way up onto the ledge then turns around giving me his hand to grab. "Try and use that rock to push off from." He says motioning to a point sticking out from the rocks, just big enough for me to push off with my toes. We lock arms and I do as he says, using the small rock to push myself up the ledge, he pulls me up quickly with little effort. "Good job! You're a natural." I scoff as we get our bags back on.

"Am I really?" I ask sarcastically.

"You're doing better than a lot of other people I've seen up here."

"Thats.. worrisome." I'm hardly prepared for such an expedition, to think someone else is any less prepared is concerning. But slightly motivating, if they could make the climb why can't I? Link chuckles at my remark.

"You're going to love Zoras Domain." He says taking my hand back in his. "Best part is, we're not that far!"

"We're not?"

"Nah we got a little over a mile left?" He looks around. "We'll probably make it before the sun sets." I look up at the sky, the sun had less than 40 minutes until it set.

"I thought the hike was going to be a lot longer." I tell him.

"It's mostly the climbing that takes the most. But look!" He points ahead at the distance to a sparkling blue bridge. It appeared to be made of glass but I knew it wasn't, theres no way a glass bridge can survive in these elements. "We're close!" He excitedly says as we continue onward.

We eventually got to the bridge and I was in awe at it. it was not glass at all, but some sort of gemstone. It was hand carved with beautiful details about what I'm assuming are zora symbols and stories. i can't imagine the amount of thought and effort that went into creating such a beautiful piece.

Link didn't pay the bridge much attention, I'm sure after the amount of times he's been over here it wasn't nearly as fascinating anymore. I could've stayed at that first bridge for ages, trying to find all the hidden little details.

We continued onward for another 10 minutes or so, crossing a few other gemstone bridges before Link stopped. "Look!' He points ahead and I stop to look. My jaw practically hits the floor seeing an enormous structure made of the same glistening blue gemstone. The structure was surrounded by waterfalls and with the sun setting it glistened and sparked lighting up the surrounding area. I was speechless. "Is that Zoras Domain?" I ask.

"Yup, told you it was beautiful." He says. "I'll never get tired of that view."

"I don't think I've ever seen something so breathtaking." Link chuckled.

"Yeah, it really is something miraculous." He looks over at me. I smile at him and he brings me in for a side hug. I lean my head on his shoulder as the two of us look off at the glistening town. To believe something like this could exist and I could've gone my entire life never seeing it. I was so incredibly grateful for this moment.

"Thank you." I whisper.

"Of course." He whispers back giving my shoulder a squeeze. "But staring doesn't beat actually going in there." He says and I let out a soft chuckle. "Lets go enjoy the beautiful domain."
