The next day Link and I woke up early to start on the papers. I wasn't excited to spend the whole day reading over them. Link and I woke up before the sun rose and cooked up a quick breakfast before heading to the library. Neither of us bothered to get properly dressed, I put on some shorts and a bra while Link wore an old shirt.

We made some eggs and bread and headed over to the office. We both ate our bowl of food while we headed towards the library. Link opened the library door for me and we walked in. "Thanks again for helping me." We walked across the dark library.

"I didn't really have a choice." He snickered and kept walking.

"True." We walked up the stairs. He ran ahead of me and unlocked the door. He kissed my cheek as I walked in the door. "I love you angel."

"I love you too." I walked to his desk and sat down to eat my eggs. Link turned on some lamps started separating the piles, one large pile for me, and one large pile for him. He took bites of food while trying to organize everything. I just watched him clean up while I ate my food.

"Alright you can do this pile," he said and placed a large pile on the desk, "and I'll go this one." He pointed to the one on the floor.

"What am I looking for in the application?" I asked.

"Intelligence, strength and combat. Most of that is on the last page. If their scores are lower than 50% on two or more throw it in the garbage." He sat down on the floor next to the door.

"Ok..." I was a bit unsure about what he said.

"If you're unsure ask me." He smiled.

I finished my food and started reading the applications and test scores. Most of the paper were the same. All the knights were pretty identical, no one was too strong or too smart. None of the applications stood out. I wondered how Link got to be an appointed knight. Was he an average Joe or was he different? I looked up from the paper at him. His eyes moves quickly across the paper. After a few seconds he either put the paper in the garbage pile or accepted pile.

I read over a few more before letting out a loud sigh. "This is boring." I groaned.

"I know but Zelda got mad at me cause I haven't done it."

"Why didn't you just do it when you got it?" I tossed a paper to the accepted pile. "And why do we even have to check these?? Can't they build up these skills in training?"

"They can but they'd be far behind the others." I looked down at the paper. "Trust me, boot camp isn't easy if you don't have the skills." I scoffed a bit.

"Were you scrawny?" I asked. He looked up at me.

"Yeah. I was also terrible at fighting." I giggled. "And I'm short so that doesn't make it easier." I laughed. "For our wedding I don't want you wearing heels cause I'll look shorter than I already am." He chuckled.

"Oh come on! You've gotten taller since we met." I giggled.

"By like two inches." He continued reading. The door to the office opened and a knight walked in.

"The Princess wants to talk to you." He told Link.

"Alright," he started getting up, "I'll be right back. Keep up the good work!" He smiled before walking out the door.

I sighed and continued reading over the papers. While Link was gone I got through most of the papers. The office was quiet. Nothing could be heard but the sound of papers flipping. I was so bored in the tiny dark office. I sighed and lied back on the desk. I put the papers on my face. The door opened and I heard Link chuckle. "What are you doing?"

"Resting my brain." I slid the papers off my face and looked up at the ceiling. He hovered over me and smiled.

"You wanna take a break?" He asked. I nodded and sat up.

"I wanna take a nap." I rubbed my eyes and yawned.

"Come sit with me." He walked to where he was sitting before. He sat against the wall and I lied down on him. I hugged him and rested my head on his chest. He grabbed his papers and rested his hands on my lower back as he read through them. "I'll wake you up in an hour." Link whispered.

"Alright." I softly said. I slowly fell asleep to the sound of Link flipping pages.

I wasn't sure how much time had passed by, but when I woke up Link was asleep. I kissed his cheek and nuzzled myself in his chest. Link stretched and placed his hands back on my lower back.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"I don't know." Link mumbled. "It's probably close to dinner." I sat up on his lap so he could sit up straight. I straddled him and laid back on his chest. He slid his hands down to my ass and kissed my cheek. I smiled and sighed.

"I'm hungry." I said.

"Let's go get food then." He rubbed my lower back. I groaned softly and rested my head on his shoulder.

"Baby we can't spend the whole day sleeping."

"Yes we can." I snaked my hand to the back of his head and massaged his scalp. I felt his body relax as I played with his hair. He took a deep breath and sighed. There was a knock on the door before it opened.

"You gu-" Zelda cut herself off.

"Down here." Link tiredly said.

"Ohhh, you guys are precious. Anyways, dinner is starting soon and after that we'll start the meeting." She said and left.

"You heard her, lets go." I got off of him and stretched. I got yawned and got up. Link sat on the floor and stretched. I looked down at him as he got up. "You didn't even finish all the papers." He pointed at the desk.

"Whoops." I walked over to the door. "Let's go I'm hungry." Link chuckled as we walked down the stairs.

"You are something else." He playfully spanked me.

"Cut it out." I laughed.

"What? I'm not allowed to play the booty bongos?" He spanked me again. I laughed as we reached the exit to the library.

"No!" I giggled. "At least not in public." I smirked and walked through the door.

"Ooooo, can't wait for tonight then!" He grinned.

"Yeah I can't wait to get a full 8 hours of sleep."

"You're evil." He smirked and licked my cheek.

"Link gross!" I stopped in front of the dining room doors and wiped me cheek. He chuckled and opened the doors.

"Let's eat!"
