A few weeks went by and Link had fully recovered. Everything was going great. Link and I were planning the wedding. We wanted it in the spring so it would be next year. We weren't too worried about it though since we had plenty of time to plan. We were excited for it though.

Link and I were walking around the castle chatting and enjoying the sunny day. I was wearing a floral sundress that Zelda gave me. Link wouldn't stop complimenting me on the dress.

Moo was running around, excited as usual. She never seems to run out of energy. Link tosses a stick She brought over to him.

"You know, the knights are planning to head out soon." Link said.

"You're not going, right?" I asked.

"Maybe...."

"Why?!" I exclaimed.

"(Y/n) it'd be hard for them without me. They need me."

"So I guess I don't need you?"

"(Y/n) I'll be ok." He reassured.

"You said that last time and you almost died!!"

"Last time we weren't prepared."

"But you thought you were! And I bet you feel really prepared now too? Have you figured out where my brother is? Has anyone actually seen him or been to where they think he is to make sure?" He stayed quiet. "My brother is probably dead anyways."

"(Y/n) don't say that."

"It's true! They would've sent a letter or something but they haven't." Link looked up at me.

"(Y/n)!" He exclaimed.

"What?"

"Of course they've sent a letter?" I looked at him confused. "I have to tell Zelda!" He ran off so I ran after him.

"What are you talking about?"

"The ransom! They would've sent it to your parents not the castle, no one knows they're here!"

"Oh!" That makes sense.

Link and I ran around the castle through the castle trying to find Zelda. When we did Link explained everything to her. She immediately sent two knights out, one to my mothers house and one to the stable.

Afterwards Link and I hopped in the shower to get ready for dinner. I rinsed my hair off while facing Link.

"So if we actually figure out where your brother really is could I go?" Link asked. I slicked my hair back and looked at him.

"Maybe." I said.

"Hmm.... could I maybe change your mind?" He placed his hand on my waist then down to my thigh, he pulled my leg towards him making me land on his bare chest.

"No you cannot." I pulled away from him. I pulled the curtains to the side to hop out of the shower and wrap a towel around me.

"Oh come on! I'll make sure the plan is solid!"

"Babe I want you alive! I want our kids to have a healthy father."

"Are you pregnant?!?" He pulled the curtains back.

"No! What I'm saying is I want you to be able to walk and be a functional human when we have kids." I said.

"And I will! But I also want our kids to have an uncle." He washed off his hair. I groaned.

"I'm gonna get dressed, this conversation is over." I walked towards the door.

"So am I going??" He asked.

"No!" I said while walking out the door. I quickly got dressed while Link finished his shower. The bathroom door opened and Link walked out with a cloud of steam behind him. A white towel was loosely wrapped around his waist.

"I love you." Link said. I looked over at him while tying my hair up.

"I love you too." I smiled.

"(Y/n) I want you to know I wanna go cause I care about you." He walked over to me and hugged me.

"I know Link, and I'm glad you care about my family, but I can't lose both you and my brother. Link I appreciate it more than you know, but seriously there's lots of knights going and I believe if he's alive they'll bring him back." I gently held his face. "Please don't go." He smiled and held my waist with both hands.

"I won't." He kissed me. I smiled and kissed him back. He led me over to the bed and gently laid me on it. He kissed my neck and I giggled.

"Link we just took a shower." I said.

"So? We'll take another one." He nipped my neck making me squeal softly.

"Babe I'm serious, dinner is gonna start soon." He smirked.

"I know you don't want to stop." He looked down at me.

"I don't, but I'm also hungry and I want dinner."

"It'll be quick, please." He kissed me again and I kissed him back. I pulled away and looked at him, he was giving me puppy dog eyes. I giggled and kissed him.

"Fine.." He smirked and kissed me deeply. I sat up so he could unbutton my shirt. Our lips stayed together until he made his way down to my neck. I moaned softly as he nipped at my neck. He slid his hands down to my pants to pull them off when someone pounded on our door. Link got off me and started getting dressed while I buttoned my shirt back up and headed towards the door. I looked back at Link to see if he had pants on and he did. I opened the door and there stood Zelda holding a piece of paper.

"(Y/n) good! Link was right they sent a letter to both of your parents!"

"Great! Does it say where he is? Does it say he's alive."

"Uhh, you might want to read it yourself... there's a bit of a problem."  She handed it to me. I cautiously took it and started reading it.

To the parents of  (Y/n) we want to say that we have  your beloved son. And no we don't want rupees for him, we want something much more valuable than currency. We want your precious (Y/n). She took something valuable and important to us so we're taking her! If you try to contact anyone to try and help we will kill both of you children. If we see any sign of that dreaded Link or any guard we won't hesitate to kill either of them. If you went him back send us a letter to the place (Y/n) first killed one of our own and we'll send back instructions on how to get your son back.

I felt myself turn pale as I read it. Fear filled my body as I looked at Link and Zelda in confusion. What were we going to to??
