The demon scratched and scratched on the door. Is let out horrific screeches. I held Missy tightly trying to calm her. The demon pounded on the door and screeched. The sound pierced my ears.

"(Y/N)!!" I could hear Links voice. I hear the bedroom door break. Soon after the demon squeals before hearing a thud. "Banana horse!" Link says. That's our code so we know it's really is and not just a shapeshifter. I get up and open the door. Link is standing there drenched in blood and chunks of flesh. "You ok?" He asks. I nod. He hugs me tightly transferring all the blood on him into my shirt.

"Link ew." I laugh.

"Guess we both have to shower now!" I laugh even more. He kisses me smudging the blood on his face onto mine.

"Gross!" I laugh.

We took a quick shower and walked downstairs with Missy into a windowless room. We sat on the floor with a blanket covering us and a few candles lighting the room. I rested my head on Links shoulder and fell asleep with Missy in my arms.

The next day we waited again for night to come. Again those demons came. They wandered around the house in search for us. Every now and then one would come to the door and sniff for us then walk off. Link and I just stayed quiet all night.

"It kinda sucks we can't do anything without monsters following us." Link whispered.

"It's exciting." I giggle softly.

Right then a demon from outside starts scratching on the door and pounds on it nonstop. Link holds me close and I hold Missy.

"Let's just stay quiet." He says over the pounding of the demon. I nod.

We stayed there quiet not saying a word. That night was dreadful, those creatures scratching around in and outside the house. Rummaging through the rooms, I could hear them going through our things. This honeymoon was great up until this point. Good thing this ends tomorrow. As soon as the sun rises we're packing our things and waiting for the carriage. I couldn't wait to go back to our cozy home with our dogs and now our cat.

I woke up on Links shoulder. The birds were chirping outside so I got up and so did Link. We quickly packed everything and waited outside. Neither of us wanted to be inside any longer. We put Missy in a carry bag and sat on the porch steps.

We stayed all day outside and started getting worried when we noticed the sun start setting and no carriage.

"Do you think he forgot?" I ask.

"No." He sighs. "Don't worry."

Like clockwork the carriage rolled up. We both sprinted to it and shoved our bags in it.

"Was the honeymoon that bad?" The driver asks.

"No, we're just homesick." Link says. We then got inside and rode off. I was so relieved to be leaving that place. Link and I cuddled on the seat fell asleep. It was exhausting staying up all night looking out for those things.

While sleeping I was woken up by the carriage being hit. I shoot up.

"What was that?!"

"AHHHHH" The driver screamed and his voice faded into the distance.

"Stay h-" the carriage was ripped open and there were at least 5 of those things on both sides of us. The demons slowly inched towards us. Link held me close. "Don't let go of me." He said. A demon tried to grab me but Link quickly kicked it away. "Stay the FUCK away from her!!" Link hissed. One of the things grabbed Link and tried pulling him off. Another grabbed me and pulled me away. I scream as we try to hold onto each other. The nails sink deeper and deeper into my skin as it tries harder to pull me away.

"Link don't let go!"

"I promise I'll keep you safe." From behind Link one of the demons came up with a rock and swung to hit Link on the head. I scream and he lets go of me making us both fly backwards and land on the demons. The demons grab my legs and arms and start rubbing through the woods with me.

"LINK!!" I cry out.

"DONT WORRY!! I'LL FIND YOU!!" He yells. I fight and squirm trying my hardest to escape the demons grasp. But they just growled and ran through the forest.

"LET GO!!" I kicked. The demon let go of my leg and I tried escaping. Instead the other demon that was joking my arms pinned me down until the other one grabbed my legs. They made weird chirps at each other and started running again.

I noticed they were running straight into a tree. "Hey Stop!!" I say. They just keep running. If they don't stop I'm gonna get hit. "STOP!!" I scream. They didn't listen. My head hit the side of the tree and everything was black.
