As I slept that night with Moo by my feet and the rain pouring down on the roof I was slowly woken up by the sound of footsteps and what I thought was whispering. I wasn't sure if it was in my dreams or if someone was in the house so I decided to stay vigilant and pretended to sleep while I watched the stairs. Nothing happened so I went back to sleep. That's when I felt someone on the bed. I didn't hesitate to kick whoever it was in the face. I threw the sheets over them and scrambled out of bed to turn the lights on.

"Damn it babe I told you it was me." I heard Link say.

"Link? Oh my- I didn't hear you I'm so sorry." I knelt down and took the sheets off him to reveal his bleeding nose. "Oh baby I'm so sorry. But you should know better than to scare me like that!"

"I was trying to be cute." He smiled. I looked at him and gave him a small frown.

"Let's clean you up." I got up and so did he.

"No I'm fine!" He wiped off the blood with his sleeve and fell onto the bed pulling me with him. I laughed as I landed on his chest. "I missed you baby."

"I missed you too." I kissed him. Moo ran over to us and licked Links face. I laughed and set her on the floor.

"How have you been?" He asked.

"I've been good great! How was it back at the castle?" I rested my head on his shoulder.

"It was rough, Zelda was being an ass before and after the birth. I got yelled at a lot, cussed at... I got smacked a lot.." he quickly said.

"Awe baby." I laughed.

"It sucked, but her son was all worth it." He placed his hands on my lower back. "She feels bad about what she said though, and she wants to apologize to you in person."

"I'd love to talk to her." I smiled. "We can talk about it later, I just wanna cuddle." I nuzzled my face in his neck. "I love you." I whispered.

"I love you too babygirl." He played with my hair.

3 Weeks later

After being home so long Link and I decided to take a trip. Link wanted to explore off the trails and see the wild. I'm sure we'd be out for a long time. I'm glad we'd be adventuring again, I was getting bored of being home all the time. We had already finished packing and we ready to go. I said goodbye to my mother and told her we'd be gone for a while so she wouldn't worry. Link wanted to go to Rito Village first. I didn't really cared where we went as long as it was away. Link wanted to leave at sunset so we'd get there in the morning. It was a strange request but I didn't care.

We left at sunset and started the trip. Moo's face was in my shirt, she kept me warm as we got closer to the cold mountains.

"Link are you sure we can't stop anywhere? It's really cold." I rubbed my hands together.

"Babe I want you to see the sunrise."

"I can see it tomorrow, I'm cold, hungry and tired." I sniffled. "And so is Moo." I looked down my shirt and she licked my face. "Please."

"Alright, there's a stable we can stop at in about a mile." He said.

We stayed on the trail and after about an hour we got to the stable. Link gave me the money to pay for the beds while he tied the horses up. Moo jumped down and stayed with Link while I went inside to pay for the beds.

"Good evening miss, what can I do for you?"

"Two normal beds please, until the morning." I smiled.

"For you and the young man outside?" I nodded.

"Alright that'll be 40 rupees." I handed them to him. "Sleep well."

"Thank you." I walked off and lied down on the bed and waited for Link. I was already dozing off when I felt Link sit on the bed.

"You tired?" He asked.

"Yeah." I turned onto my side.

"Me too." He chuckled. "Goodnight baby." He kissed my cheek.

"Goodnight." I smiled. Moo jumped onto my bed and snuggled up by my feet and fell asleep. Soon after so did I.

The next morning Link woke me up while the sun rose. "Good morning baby." He played with my hair. "Are you hungry?" I yawned and nodded. "Good! I made you some scrambled eggs." He said handing me the plate.

"Oh! Thank you." I rubbed my eyes and smiled. "How long have you been up for?" I asked while eating.

"All night.. I fed Moo, took her for a short walk and fed the horses some food."

"Why didn't you sleep?" I asked.

"I haven't been able to sleep for the past few days anyways. I've been thinking a lot about stuff."

"What's so important that's keeping you up?"

"Just stuff." He sighed.

"You wanna talk about it?" I set the plate down.

"Maybe later, we gotta get going." I was a bit worried about him after hearing that. I didn't like the fact something was bothering him so much.

"Yeah." I smiled and got up. "Let's get going, where's Moo?"

"Outside playing with some of the dogs." He said as I followed him out. Moo was running around with some other dogs. She was getting so big. Link whistled at her and she quickly came over.

"Hi pretty girl." I knelt down and pet her. "Let's get going." I picked her up and put her on Eva. I hopped onto Eva as well and we continued on to Rito Village.

Link and I arrived around the afternoon and spent the day walking around with Moo enjoying the beautiful view. I remembered the first time we tried coming here I ended up killing someone so we never came. But now here we are enjoying the Village. Once the sun started setting Link insisted we go to the top platform so we can watch the sunset together. We ran up all the stairs together before the sun actually set.

"It really is pretty up here." I said out of breath.

"I love watching the sunset here." He said. I walked over to the edge and looked down at the ground.

"Link, thanks for bringing me here." I smiled. He held my hands and smiled.

"(Y/n) you know I love you right?" I nodded. "Good, because I love you more than you can imagine. Babe, you're so perfect and amazing and I couldn't have pictured a more perfect woman in my wildest dreams. I also can't picture myself without you.!Darling I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He smiled and I wiped the tears on my face.

"I do too." I sniffled. I couldn't help but tear up at his words.

"Good! Because I wanted to ask," he reached into his pocket and got down on one knee, "(Y/n), will you marry me?"
