A few days went by and we both discussed getting a dog more. We went and shopped for a dog bed and toys for the new family member we'd soon have. I was excited about a dog, they're so sweet and carefree. We asked around for a breeder and some people told us there was one in Kakariko Village. I couldn't get my mind off of puppies and playing with them. I daydreamed about playing with puppies and getting many puppy kisses.

"(Y/n)!" Link said snd snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Hmm?" I smiled at him.

"Are you sure you want a dog? It's a big responsibility."

"Yes I want a dog.. do you want a dog?"

"Kinda."

"Link I want us to raise a dog like we'd raise a child."

"A dog is nothing like a child." He told me.

"Well duh, but it's close enough. Plus they're cute and I really want a puppy here for when you're gone."

"I won't be gone as much anymore."

"I know but you still go to the castle every other month and I get lonely." I slouched down on my chair.

"I know, but Zelda is about to have her baby and I wanna be there for when it's born." He held my hands.

"To make sure it's yours?"

"To make sure it's not." I sighed and looked down at his hands.

"Is that why you're leaving again?" He stayed quiet. "Link you can't expect me to not find out you're packing clothes, I do your laundry." I scoffed.

"I was going to tell you." He softly said.

"It's fine.." I smiled and placed his hand on my face. "I understand."

"I hate leaving, you know that." He gently rubbed my cheek.

"I know..." I kissed his hand. "I hope the baby is born healthy! You have to tell me all about it when you get back." He laughed. "When do you leave?"

"Tomorrow morning." He stated.

"Really? So soon? When were you going to tell me?"

"I know I'm sorry! But I'll write you letters everyday."

"You better." I giggled.

"I will, but before I leave I have a surprise!"

"Another one?"

"Yes. Come with me to the yard." He got up. I curiously followed him out the back door. "Ok stay right here!" He stopped me and ran around the corner. I stood there waiting for a while until he came around the corner holding something. When he got closer I realized what it was. A puppy!! (Australian Shepherd, they're very cute). My heart was racing!

"You did not!"

"This is Moo, Seldon got her for us yesterday." He smiled.

"I didn't think you'd actually get one." He handed me the dog.

"All that shopping for supplies would've gone to waste." He laughed. "Plus you'll need the company when I'm gone."

"Thanks babe!" I kissed him. I pat Moo. Her fur was soft and long. Her eyes were two different colors, blue and brown. Her fur was almost silverish with black spots (like a cow) and brown on her legs. We walked back inside and I couldn't get enough of Moo. She was so precious, and her name was perfect. Moo.

"Anyways, I need to finish packing." He kissed my forehead. "I'll try and visit if I get the chance but no promises."

"I know, you say that every time." Moo had fallen asleep on my lap. I smiled as I pat her soft ears and snout. Link was walking in and out getting his stuff ready for his trip.

Once the sun started setting I decided to get dinner started. I put Moo in her bed and washed my hands. Link was upstairs taking a nap, I didn't wanna wake him up. He needs his rest for tomorrow.

I was cutting vegetables and slices of meat for dinner. I hummed to myself as I cooked. I looked over at Moo who was still in a deep sleep. I smiled and continued with the meal. Once I finished I served the plates and walked upstairs to wake up Link. He was sleeping on his stomach and softly snoring. I sat down on the bed and ran my fingers through his hair. I don't know how he makes his hair this soft. I twirled his hair and rubbed his back.

"Wake up, dinners ready." I said. He ignored me. "Wake up or Moo is gonna eat it." I flicked his ear.

"Ow. Why couldn't you just play with my hair?" He groaned.

"Because you wouldn't get up, and your dinner is going to get cold." I got up but Link pulled me onto the bed.

"Stay with me for a while." He kissed my neck.

"After we eat dinner." I said. He let go and we walked down to eat our food. We ate and talked for a while. Once we finished Link washed the dishes and I took a shower.

I was washing my hair when I heard the bathroom door opened. I peeked my head out the shower curtain and saw Link brushing his teeth. He looked over at me. "Hey!" He said. "How's it going?"

"Pretty good." I laughed.

"Want me to join you?" He asked.

"If you want, I'm about to get out though." I rinsed my hair.

"Alright, I'll see you upstairs." He walked out. I finished my shower and got dressed. Before I left the bathroom I brushed my hair and washed my teeth. Moo was still sleeping in her bed while I walked up the stairs. Link was laying in bed face down again,probably sleeping. I tried to get into bed without disturbing him but before I could lie down he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me towards him. I giggled.

"Babe I'm tired.." I softly said.

"You are?" He pouted. "I'm wide awake."

"Well you took a nap."

"Yeah and you slept until 2." He retorted. I laughed.

"Well I'm still tired."

"Dang.. I was hoping for some action tonight." He held my waist.

"Babe no.. I can't.." I softly said. I still have flashbacks of that night but I tried by best to ignore them. It really sucks, I love Link and I want to show him. Badly. But I'm not comfortable with my body. "I'm sorry."

"No worries baby girl. I understand." He smiled. "I'll be right back, don't go to sleep without me." He kissed my forehead and hopped over me onto the floor. He quickly made his way down the stairs, I heard his footsteps lead into the bathroom and then the door closed. I sighed. He was gonna take a while in there doing his thing so I chose to read a book while I wait for him. I felt like a bad girlfriend.

"Hmph." I frowned at myself. I heard whining from downstairs and realized it was Moo. I got out of bed and saw her at the bottom of the stairs. I smiled and walked down to pet her. "What's up girly? You need to go potty?" I asked. She just stared at me not knowing what I said. I walked over to the bathroom and knocked on the door lightly. "I'm gonna take Moo outside." I said.

"Alright." I walked over to the door and opened it allowing Moo to go outside and do her business. I followed her around while she explored and peed all over the yard. It was pretty cold outside and I was only wearing shorts and one of Links long-sleeved shirt. Eventually Moo stopped peeing and just explored so I decided it was time to go back inside. I picked her up and walked back home. When we did I was immediately warmed up with the air from inside. I put Moo down and filled up her food and water bowl. She didn't want to eat though instead she tried following me upstairs but stopped when she reached the stairs. She whined and barked at me. "What?" She whined and tried hopping up the stairs but failed. I laughed and picked her up. It wouldn't hurt if she slept with us tonight.

Link was back in bed reading the book I left on the bed. "Is it ok if she sleeps with us?" I asked him. He looked over at me.

"Baby we talked about this."

"Just for tonight! Please?"

"Fine, just for tonight." I smiled and walked over to bed. I put her down next to Link and he pat her head. I lied down next to them and smiled.

"I love you." I smiled.

"I love you too." He said and kissed my cheek. Moo walked over to our feet and lied down. I scooted closer to Link and hugged him. "Goodnight Darling."
