(Y/n)'s POV

I fell asleep and when I awoke the castle was in my sights. I was shocked at how much we traveled. "Damn... *yawn*... we're already here?"

"I didn't take any breaks. I've traveled more though so worry not. Plus I'm sure Link misses you."

"You didn't have to do that, we could've taken our time."

"It's fine." He says. "I know what it's like to miss family." I smile.

"Thank you." As we neared the castle one of the guards spotted me.

"(Y/n)!" He called out and ran over, it caught the attention of two others near him that came as well. "Master Link has been worried sick, are you alright?" I nod.

"This is Micheal, he helped me get here, I'd like for him and his hardworking father to get rewarded for what he's done."

"We'll bring this up with Zelda, right this way sir." One of the guards said.

"Come with us (Y/n)." I look over at Micheal and give him an approving smile and he gives one back. One of the guards ran up inside the castle to tell of my return while I took it easily to the castle.

Links POV

I had been sitting in the dining room alone since breakfast. I hadn't touched any of my food, the whole day has been an awful trance, everything feels grey. Not knowing where in Hyrule my dear (Y/n) was made me sick. I vowed to protect her and I've failed. I sigh and toss my head into my hands, rubbing my face aggressively to feel the slight relief of stretching my facial muscles. I let out a loud groan to go along with it but was taken back when a guard barged  through one of the doors.

"Master Link! (Y/n)! She's back!" He panted for air.

"Where?! Where is she?"

"She's outside but they're taking her to the infirmary." My heart fluttered when I heard those words. I leapt out of my chair and sprinted all the way down the corridors and hopped down the stairs all the way to the infirmary. I walked into every room looking for her and in the process accidentally peeping into peoples rooms. There was a few more rooms to go when I opened the door and there she was. Sitting on the bed with some IV's in looking at the doctor, nodding and taking his directions when she spotted me and smiled widely. That smile, it cured all my worries and sorrows. I managed to calm myself enough to walk into the room and give her a tight hug, and revive one back.

"I'm so sorry." I sighed and knelt down beside her.

"Why?" She frowned.

"I didn't know it wasn't you, I left you." She smiled kindly and placed a hand on my cheek.

"It's ok. It probably would've been the same backwards." She's too forgiving, goddess I love her.

"I love you." I lean in for a kiss and she returns it. The doctor cleared his throat and we looked up awkwardly.

"As I was saying (Y/n). I'm gonna run some blood tests to make sure there's nothing out of the ordinary. As well as give you some fluids and you'll be on your way." He said. She nodded. "You'll feel a pinch." He said as he injected the IV needle into her arm. She flinched a bit and sighed deeply.

"Never feels any better." She jokes. Afterwards Zelda entered the room with Milo. She smiled widely when Milo giggled at her.

"(Y/n) I'm so glad you're ok!" Zelda walked over and hugged her along with Milo.

While the ladies chatted I looked over at the doctor who was staring at his work. He mumbled something under his breath then walked back over.

"I hate to break this up but I'm gonna have to do one last test on (Y/n)." He said. I knew all of our stomachs sank.

"Is she ok?" He nodded.

"Just procedure. You all stay here, I'll roll her back soon."  He said rolling the bed out of the room. He said it wasn't bad but it made me nervous to think I didn't know what was going on.

(Y/n)'s POV

The doctor rolled me into a room and laid the bed back down. "If  you don't mind rolling up your shirt for a quick ultrasound. He sat down on a stool next to me and pulled out a large screen. "Don't worry, the jelly isn't cold." He said before squirting some warm jelly onto my stomach. He then rubbed it in with a scanner and started moving it around.

"Is it another cyst?" I asked since I've had them before, ultrasounds weren't uncommon to me.

"No...." he squinted his eyes and then smiled when he spotted what he was looking for. He then panned the screen towards me and I looked. It was a empty void with something. That's when he pointed to what looked like a bean silhouette. "You're pregnant." He chuckled. My whole body went limb at his words.

"What?" I asked in disbelief. He nodded and moved the scanner around. He moved it slightly and I saw another bean.

"And it's twins." My heart fluttered with joy and fear. I don't want to lose my twins, although I might. I can't.

"Am I... am I gonna miscarry??" I nervously ask scared of what he'll tell me.

"It's hard to say. I'll have to run further tests but if we switch this on." He flipped a switch and scanned over one of the fetuses. A suction type beat began ringing around the room. "They've got heartbeats, so that's about 4-5 weeks." He chuckled. "You seem to have some strong muscles cause they bump is barely showing." I feel myself begin to cry. Absolute joy is washed over me. Micheal was right, I am pregnant. With twins, thank Hylia for this blessing. I sit up from the bed and cry, this overwhelming feeling of happiness and love came over me and I couldn't do anything else.

"I don't want to lose them." I sob. I can't lose them.

"I will do everything medically possible to prevent that for you (Y/n). But in the meantime I want you to relax. And leave all the stress to Link and I." Link! I have to tell him... but I want it to come from me. "Would you like to tell him?" I nod.

"But not right now." I say. "Is there anyway to get this image printed?" I ask. He nods. "Can I have one? For later." I smile.

"Of course." He says. "Let's get you back with your husband." I nod and wipe my tears. I take some deep breaths in as we enter the room.

"Is everything ok?" Link asks.

"Yes yes, she's doing wonderful." I smile. "All she needs is a warm shower and a good nights rest."

"And she'll get it." Zelda replies. "Let's get you to your room (Y/n)." I smile and get out of the bed. The three of us chat along with Milo, who will soon have new friends to play with. My heart fluttered thinking about it.

Once we got to the room Zelda kept going to Milos room while I went straight to the bathroom to take a nice, warm shower.

After my shower I joined Link and Zelda who were chatting with Micheal about everything.

"I cannot thank you enough for bringing her back." Link shook his hand. I walk up and Micheal waves. Link smiles at me and places an arm around me.

"How can we ever repay you?"

"I- I really hate to ask, my pride uh.. it gets in the way..." He clears his throat. "My father has organ failure and the money for the transplant or even just the medication it's too much for me to keep up with."

"Say no more." Zelda gives him a motherly smile. "We are going to help him, do not worry yourself my dear. I'll have a guard bring him here from your village to treat him, free of charge. As well as reward you with 20,000 rupees."

"No, I can't take that, just help my father."

"It's not up for debate." Link cut in. "You deserve it, not just for what you did for us but for what you've done for your father."

"Thank you." He smiles at Link and I. "Thank you so much princess." He bowed to Zelda.

"We'll have a room for you and your father here." She said. "Link would you mind escorting him?" Link nodded and walked off with Micheal.

"Zelda." I speak.

"Yes?"

"I have something urgent to tell you." Her face went blank.

"Is everything ok?"I nod.

"Yeah yeah, I just need a room to tell you."

"My room!" Zelda giggles as we make our way all the way to her room and through it to her study. "What is it?" She asks. "I'm all giddy... but nevrous.... oh what is it you're killing me!!" I laugh not being able to contain my excitement. "What?!"

"I'm pregnant!" I break the tension.

"What??" I nod. "Wait seriously??" Her voice gets progressively louder. "You're not kidding??" I shake my head and she squeals of joy and hops around excitedly.

"There's one more thing." She stops with tears in her eyes.

"What?" She wipes her tears.

"It's twins!!" She breaks out into another loud scream/ cry, her feet bouncing up and down like the floor is lava, almost jumping off the walls with pure joy. Once she's calm enough she hugs me tightly and I hug her back.

"Is that what you were in the other room for?" I nod. "(Y/n) I'm so happy for you." She cries, tears leave my eyes as I thank her. "Does Link know?" She wipes her tears and mine.

"Not yet. But the doctor said they're looking good. I'm about five weeks along and they've got heartbeats." She hops around again.

"(Y/n) this is amazing!!!" She hugs me again. "When will you tell him?"

"Soon, I'll tell him soon."
