The alarm went off, and Ratchet sent Bulkhead and Bumblebee through the groundbridge. He looked like he was worried and quickly got the medbay prepared. Now I was worried and started hoping the bots were okay. Soon, the bridge opened, and everyone came through. To my relief, none of them were injured, but I could tell they had a run-in with the cons. I chirped to Arcee, who was looking down. She instantly smiled and picked me up.
"Well, I'm glad this was our welcome party." She said, nuzzling me.
The other bots smiled as I giggled. I then saw Optimus approaching Ratchet. I don't know what he told Ratchet, but Ratchet was not happy with it. Arcee even seemed angry with it. I had no idea how to lighten the mood when Cliffjumper took me from Arcee.
"Yeah. But I think the little squirt here would like to do something fun. Ain't that right, sweetspark?" He said.
I giggled and noticed Ratchet stomping over.
"Whatever you're thinking about Cliffjumper, I'm stopping it now." He said, taking me from him and handing me to Bee. Bee took me over to the play pen, and we started playing. Bee and I played for a bit when Optimus came over and borrowed Bee. So I'm currently in the little play pen in the medbay since Ratchet doesn't like me being unsupervised. Meanwhile, Ratchet is working on something. I'm mainly playing with a puzzle toy Ratchet made me when Cliffjumper sneaks into the medbay and carefully grabs me. I look at him confused.
Bruh, do you have a death wish? I thought, looking at him.
He just smirked like a madman before sneaking out of the medbay with me. Just as he was close to the door, I heard a bang. I looked up and saw him rubbing the back of his helm and felt Ratchet take me from him.
"Cliffjumper..." Ratchet growled.
I knew Cliffjumper was in trouble and tried to figure out how to get him out of trouble. Then I noticed Optimus come over and carefully separated the two.
"Cliffjumper, perhaps it would be best if you let Ratchet have his time with his sparkling." He spoke.
Cliffjumper nodded and went to go do something. Ratchet then thanked Optimus and placed me back in the pen before going back to work. After a while, Bumblebee came in.
::Hey Ratchet?:: he buzzed
"Yes, Bumblebee?" Ratchet said
:: Can I take you sparkling to the play pen and play with her?:: He buzzed, giving Ratchet the biggest puppy eyes ever.
"Alright." Ratchet said, smiling in an amused way.
Bumblebee was excited and carefully picked me up. He took me to the play pen, and we played with a puzzle game. While we were playing, I noticed Optimus glancing over at us and smiling. Bee didn't seem to notice at first, but eventually, he did. He didn't say anything to Optimus, though he just continued playing with me. Eventually, Ratchet came over.
"Alright, you two. It's time for recharge." He said with a smile.
Bee nodded and handed me to Ratchet. He headed off to his room and said good night to everyone. Ratchet seemed to chuckle and nuzzled me. I giggled and squirmed. He went over to where my energon bottles were and gave me one. After I drank it, I fell asleep and snuggled against him. Ratchet took me back to his room and tucked me in. When I woke up, I noticed Ratchet was sleeping, and there was a certain yellow mech in the doorway.
::Ratchet?:: He buzzed.
Ratchet got up and looked at him.
"Why aren't you asleep?" He asked, looking concerned.
::The nightmares again...:: Bee buzzed, looking down.
Ratchet walked over to Bee and took him to the medbay or somewhere. I fell back to sleep and woke up to being picked up. I opened my optics and saw Ratchet smiling. I let out a giggle and nuzzled him. He chuckled and carried me to the main room. I saw everyone there except Cliffjumper. Ratchet noticed as well.
"Don't tell me he's sleeping in again." He muttered.
Then I noticed Arcee looking annoyed and going back the hallway. A few moments later, I heard crashing and watched as Arcee dragged Cliffjumper out. Some of the bots laughed.
"Morning Cliffjumper. Might be better if you don't sleep in next time." Ratchet said with a smirk.
"Gee, thanks for the heads up, Ratchet." Cliffjumper said, rubbing his helm*
Arcee chuckled and went over to Bumblebee. Soon everyone was doing their routine and I was left with my sire Ratchet who was talking to Optimus. I wasn't really paying attention to their conversation due to the fact I was having one of my moments where I space out. Although when I heard a load crash, I turned and saw Bulkhead running from Ratchet. I heard a sigh and saw Optimus come to where I was.
"Come here, little one." He said, picking me up.
I watched Ratchet as Optimus carried me out to the main hall before noticing something. Arcee, Cliffjumper, and Bumblebee weren't at base. My guess is they were on patrol. I spotted Ratchet coming back, him walked over to Optimus.
"Thank you for watching her Optimus." He said.
"You're welcome." Optimus said with a smile.
Ratchet made boss bot smile. Dang. I gotta try harder to make him smile. After a while, everyone was at base and was working on different projects. Bee was cleaning, Arcee was helping him, Cliffjumper and Bulkhead were moving boxes, Ratchet was working on the computers, and Optimus was helping where he could. Unfortunately, I was in the play pen watching. I tried climbing out, but every time I did, one of the bots would put me back in it. Mostly, it was either Bee or Arcee who would put me back in. Eventually, Ratchet picked me up and sat me in the play pen in the medbay. A few minutes after he moved me to the play pen. I heard the alert system go off along with yelling. Now I wondered what was going on this time?
