Chapter Six
"So... We have to convince your father we're in love..?" Izuku asked, brows furrowed.
"Yes."
"Does your father even know what love is? What love looks like?"
Shoto shrugged, looking out the window, arms crossed in front of his chest. He shifted his weight onto one leg.
Izuku sighed, head dropping. "So it'll be extremely difficult proving that we love each other," he muttered.
The prince hummed in agreement, then tilted his head. "Not necessarily... He'll have his most trusted knights watching us, so it's them we have to convince." He looked to the Omega, watching the hopeful sparkle gleam in his green eyes. "Make them see we're in love, they'll tell my father, and my father will begin granting you freedoms, leading to opportunities. Keigo will be easy to trick."
"Keigo?"
"Father's most loyal guard," Shoto huffed with an eye roll. "He's obnoxious."
Izuku smiled and stood from the bed. He walked over, humming. "How much more time do you have with me today?" He inquired, rocking back on his heels.
Shoto smiled slightly in return. "Until Father has time for lunch. Anything you wish to,do,until then?"
The greenette grinned. "Tell me about yourself. I want to get to know you."
"As you wish," the prince chuckled, letting the Omega hook their arms together.
~
"You two seem to be getting along well," a blond chirped happily, trodding up to catch up with the prince and his personal guard.
Shoto sighed. "Yes. It's nice talking to Izuku. I feel... Equal to him, I suppose. And I don't feel like he's judging me."
Keigo nodded, straightening his posture as he walked alongside the prince. "Good, good. So, listen, your father wants me to keep a close eye on you two. Making sure things are well."
The prince groaned quietly and rolled his eyes. "Of course. Can't keep him out of my personal life, shouldn't have expected better when it comes to the Omega," he muttered, musing in his head how Keigo likely shouldn't be revealing that he'll be watching them.
"If you ever need any love advice, you know where to find me!" Keigo clicked his tongue and grinned, saluting loosely before jogging off elsewhere.
Iida finally sighed and shook his head. "Such an unprofessional knight. He's a loose cannon."
Shoto nodded. "Yes... But he is strong and fiercely loyal. He's trustworthy too... So father keeps him close by."
The bluenette hummed. "I suppose... Still unprofessional," he grumbled.
The prince only chuckled softly.
~
"Anything?"
Eijirou breathed deeply as he bowed on one knee. "No... Nothing."
Katsuki rubbed his face and looked out a nearby window. "There has to be... Has to be something. Someone knows where he is. Someone knows who that fucking scum-bag that took him is."
The red-head bit his lip. "Sire... We have people in both kingdoms."
"What?" The King cocked his brow and looked back to the other Alpha.
Eijirou stood. "Mina Ashido is involded in trade with Endeavor's people and Kiyoko Jirou is undercover in Shigaraki's guard. Both have more of our people with them and both have sent back word that they will keep an eye out for Izuku."
The relief that flooded Katsuki was overwhelming. He breathed deeply and nodded. "Thank you. That is good news. Send both of them my acknowledgement and support. I'll look forward to hearing their updates."
"Right. Is there anything else you need from me, your majesty?"
Katsuki sighed and looked back to him. "Eijirou... We're alone. You know you can adress me by name when we're alone. I fucking hate being addressed so formally."
The redhead chuckled and rubbed his neck. "Sorry. Habit, I suppose... Uh, I'll let you know as soon as we have anymore news, Katsuki."
The King nodded. "Yes, thank you..."
