Tim and Mari were walking down the street. Dawn had approached once more. The remaining two had received their pay checks, but they weren't as thrilled from the loss of Ashton and Ender. As they were walking, Tim looked over at Mari and smiled, holding something shiny behind his back.

"Mari..." Tim broke the silence, stopping and facing her. "I know this day wouldn't be the best for an occasion like this but..." Tim looked Mari straight in the eyes as he got on one knee, taking out a small, but radiant, diamond ring. Mari looked at the ring and then at Tim, tears welling in her glimmering eyes, as she knew what would happen next. "...Mari Alvarez, will you marry me?"

As the two hugged in joyous, unbreakable love, an eerie silence unkempt by the odor of rotting flesh filled the air around them. Behind a tree near them, someone, or something stood, chuckling evilly to itself.

"Tim and Mari Sanderson, you two will soon join your friends and where they are now, you will soon see..."
