I was talking about Sleepykinq, Sleepyking, Darlinqq and Toxic Cat

Sleepykinq apparently acts like a pedo and "has a rape fetish"

Which I've never seen/heard of

Darlinqq is apparently super overreactive and acts like a baby

Which I've kinda heard of with the whole "I wish we could be better friends" confrontation or something

Toxic Cat... I thought was a flipnote animator

But apparently they're a super cancerous base-user

I have nothing against art bases I sometimes use them

Then we started talking about "style theft"

I was super incredulous because I have a firm belief that if people "have a style" other people can "use that style"

I'm not condoning art theft or tracing, but if there was someone that drew in my "style" with a totally different:

Pose, character, background, pretty much everything

I'd be okay with that

If they trace

Stop.

If they take my art/recolor it

Stop.

But "style theft" or "they took my style"

Sounds babyish and stupid

I "copied" plenty of people's art style

Cromulent, SwiftKhaos, TaxeyCab, LavenderTowne, Sleepykinq, SugarCub, Tamaytka, Salty Milk, organ, and plenty of others that have influenced my art

I've tried to recreate styles from Salty and other flipnote animators

I'll admit that

But that improved my own "style"

Final thing:

It's stupid to claim a style as "your own" and have nobody else use it

To tell you the truth that fanfiction was a stress reliever

I wrote it in around 1 week, but it took me forever to tweak it and I published a chapter every... day? Week? No idea
