Edward's POV

   Boy did I make a huge mistake going with Barbara. I should've expected it was going to be a trap. People like them would never offer me help in times of grief. When we got to The Siren's Club, Barbara and Tabitha started beating me up, while Butch just stood and watched. 

   They still haven't told me why they were torturing me, but I wish they would stop this foolishness.

   They left me tied up in a closet with a gag in my mouth. I had a black eye and blood dripping down my face. The white gag is now a dark shade of red. 

   I have been here for 5 days now and I've had enough. I'm breaking out. But, before I could make any moves, I heard voices from the other side of the closet door.

   "How is the torture process going?" It sounded like Jeremiah Valeska.

   It was him! This whole idea was his. Wow, a genius like me couldn't figure that out. It angers me, but at least now I know a little more as to what's going on.

   "He's not doing so well, just as you said," Barbara answered him.

   "Excellent, let us check on him," his voice was getting closer. The door opened and I saw that hideous white face of his. I glared at him, yet all he did was smile at me in a creepy way. "They weren't lying to me, you really are a mess," he commented on my appearance.

   He took the gag out of my mouth so I could finally breathe.

   "What looks stupid and is a coward to do anything himself?" I played dumb here. Barbara laughed at my riddle, but Jeremiah gave her a look that said shut up or I'll hurt you. He smacked my face and I spit out some blood on the floor.

   "Rebecca will be driven made in no time," he then shut the door in my face. They will pay for what they've done to me. Also, Rebecca is alive? Oh thank goodness.
