Im gonna tell you people about Bono's early life history! Im board. This is some very important info so I would pay attention people. I might do a quiz on this stuff😂

So lets start at the beginning.

Bono was born May 10 1960. In Dublin Ireland.

Now Bono doesn't have many early memoirs from his early life. He had even discussed that with his brother Norman and he doesnt have many either. The only explanation they came up with was that when there mother (Iris) had died, his father didn't talk about her. Witch caused them to not have many memorys of her. So they beleive that when she went lots of other things went with her.

One of Bono's earliest memorys that he can remember was that on the first day he ever went to school someone came up to his best friend and...bit his ear. Then Bono litterly took that kids head and banged it into some iron railing. Bono always used the excuse that he didnt like bullies but it was really just a excuse to get away with things.

Bono said he came into the world crying and apparently he cried for 3 years non-stop. He does have a vague memory of being in the hospital age three for tests to find out what was wrong with this screaming child. They seemed to think it might have been something with his heart. Even now when going to doctors they sit him down and tell him he is healthy as he could ever want to be but has what is called a eccentric heart. And even Bono could have told them thth because he has went to many doctors and specialist about it.

Bono went throught his rather weird childhood amd nothing really happen.

Exept there was one incident when his father who was really into DIY had a electric drill and was drilling into a peace of wood when Bono and his Mom heard a scream and ran up stairs. The wood had broke and the nail had went into his fathers croch. Bono remembered his mom laughing really hard.

Thats all that really happened till his grandmother died. He remebered he really wanted her piano but his mom and dad wouldn't let him have it. Then a year later his grandfather died and at the funeral his mother had fainted or clasped and he remebered his father carrying her away and later his uncle crying and saying that something had happened to her. She had a brain humorage and was kept alive for four days on whatever machines and Bono had prayed for his mother not to die. But on the 4th day they un did all the devises that were keeping her alive and Bono, his brother and dad were in the room when it happened.

That same year he saw Larry Mullens note wanting three other guys for a band and he road on the back of his friends bike to Larrys house. There waiting was David Evens, Larry Mullen, Adam Clayton and two other guys including Davids brother. Since the first rehearsal they made some un- holely noises they named the band FeedBack. After a while the band turned into just David now The Edge and Larry, Adam, Bono and Dick Edge's brother. In witch they named that band The Hype. Witch is when they were starting to play clubs and made there first appearance on tv.

Edge's brother wasn't there because he was now going to collage. They did Street Misson.

Funny story someone was going to listen to them play first to see if they could be on tv but they had got in a fight about what to play and so when the guy got there he said "I hear you write your own songs. Play one" of course they couldn't play one of there songs. So they played two songs by the Ramones and they guy went "You wrote that?" and Bono said "Yea.." and everone was looking at him like "we wrote that?"

And so when Bono was 18 they had gottan a manager and someone gave them a list of new names for the band. One name on the list being U2 they picked that name because it was the one they hated the least. Yes Bono does not like the name of the band. But the same week they joined and made U2 was the same week Bono started dating his soon to be wife Ali. They have been together ever since he was 18.
