Introduction

You're reading a story on one of your favorite fandoms, but something just bugs you about the story. You can't quite put your finger on it, but something, wether it's big or small (or just right), is just not matching up.

Welcome to my world.

I can't consider myself an official (or good) book critic, but I know that I have high standards. Just ask one of my friends that I have graded essays for, they'll tell you how much I look into the little details.

I'm personally a perfectionist, and it takes me a while to be complete my own writing for fear that I got something wrong. I'll stare at my finished school essays for hours before hesitantly deciding that I need sleep and turn it in.

I've seen some of these types of books over Wattpad (I have a lot in my library to help me not fall victim to a bad story), and I started to notice some things that haven't often been mentioned in those said books. Please, I don't have enough money to pay for being sued for something that was similar to another book, and I'm not trying to copy anyone.

Here I will list the different things that just make me dislike a story. You may have different opinions that I will allow you to state in a civilized manner, and I hope we can agree to disagree. I will also take requests on what bugs you in a story, since this is to help writers know what their readers don't want in their fanfictions.

Most of these will be based on what I have read which revolves around a lot of Beatles and Monkees fics, but they can also be applied to other fandoms.

I'm not saying that I haven't done any of these things, they are just things I try to avoid.

Now, "the show must go on!"

(If anyone gets that reference, I now declare you my official friend.)
