Kaiga's P.O.V

As I was watching them splay in the court, I decided to look at the scoreboard to see that there is only 5 minutes left in the game. I sighed, expecting Seijoh to use the Living Star tactic. I looked over at Mikka and called her.

"Oi, Mikka," she turned her gaze towards me and I pointed at my forehead, more specifically, at my headband. She gets what I am trying to say and took something from her bag and gave it to me. It was a red headband, but unlike my usual forehead protector headband, this is different.

It's a turban, but I just like calling it a headband. She gave it to me and I took it. I took off my blue headband and wiped the sweat on my forehead before putting on the turban. It pushed back my brown hair and clears my face.

"Kaiga-kun," Tetsu-kun said and I smiled, "I've been thinking, what is your real skill anyway?"

"Yeah, Kaigan," Satsu-chan joined in and I sighed with a smile.

"To be honest, I'm not sure myself," I said, obviously surprising them as Mikka listen closely, "Dad always tells me that everyone has their own special skill, but I'm different. I kinda just do stuff on my own."

"What do you mean?" Satsu-chan asked.

"You'll see if they decided to put me in," I said and we stayed until Seijoh called for a time out. Sei-kun and the others walked towards the bench and freshen up.

"They're gonna use it," Sei-kun said, making Ryo-kun stop drinking.

"The Living Stars?" He asked and Sei-kun nodded, glancing towards Seijoh.

"Kaiga, start warming up. If they really do decided to use that tactic, we would need Kaiga in the court," Dad said and I nodded. The buzzer turned off and they all went back into the court. I looked over towards Seijoh and I widened my eyes, feeling the temperature drop.

Even though I'm not inside the court, I sensed the tension. Everyone from Seijoh...is smirking.

"Dad..." I called and he nodded.

"They're gonna use it," he said and I warmed up. As I warm up, I also watch them play. Just a few moment later, Seijoh had Teiko where they wanted us to be. In a star formation.

"The Living Star!" Three people exclaimed. Mikka and I while for the other one, I looked over to the bench and saw Mom. Her eyes were as wide as a saucer and her eyes flashed from red to gold, much like how my eyes changes color.

The crowd seem to heard our outburst and stated murmurings to themselves. I finished my set of warm ups and spun Dad by the shoulder.

"Dad, I need to get in," I said, walking towards the court, but he stopped me by grabbing my elbow.

"Wait, look," I look over to Teiko and my eyes became wide. Wider than how big my Mother's eyes became. It even flashed in a different color.

Sei-kun and the others are smirking. Like they want them to use the tactic while they are still in the court.

"Let's see what your teammates have to do in this kind of situation," he said and I nodded, unsure then sat down. What are they up to?

Seijouro took the ball from Luciano and dashed towards the ring. He was about to make a shot when Takane jumped in an incredible speed. This caught my cousin off guard as Takane slapped the ball off his hand. The ball was passed on Tadashi and he instantly made a shot, from the other side of the court to the other.

"Woah! That was so cool!" Someone cheered from the crowd. I clicked my tongue and clutched my hands together. The Living Star tactic is dangerous to their health due to the immense speed and body and hand collaboration. They need both energy and stamina to perfect it.

They didn't dare to move from their place the whole 30 seconds, annoying Teiko, especially Daiki. I didn't expect him to be patience anyway. I heard Dad sighed and walked over to the table. I stood up and Mikka, Satsuki and Tetsuya wished me luck.

I slipped into my black wristband and took two deep breathe before the referee blow the whistle.

"Blue member change!" He said and Dad gestured Kise to out of the court while I replace his place. He walked towards each other and he smiled encouragingly.

"Good luck in there, Kaigacvhi," I nodded and we high fived. I fixed my turban and combed my hair back, leaving a few strands in front of me. I took one last breathe with my eyes closed before opening them again, full of concentration.

I saw both Teiko and Seijoh's face are in shock, but my face betrayed all emotions as I put my hand under chin and imaginary blue and red strings came out of my fingers.

"Let's dance, puppets."

Akashi's P.O.V

I stared at Kaiga as he made a little sign with his hand and for a second I though some strings came out of his fingers. My gaze shifted towards his eyes as my own widened.

His eyes aren't the same shade of sky blue anymore. Nor the same gold as when he uses his special eyes. No it's different. It portrays different colors, creating two unexplainable kaleidescope in his eye sockets. First from blue to red, to green, to black, to darker blue, to purple,to yellow and to orange. I thought that was the pattern when is suddenly changed into ROYGBIV then black then continued.

"Let's dance, puppets," I think he says as the referee whistled and the ball was suddenly in his hands, surprising us.

He dashed towards our ring, dribbling the ball when Kira guarded him.

"You think you can break the formation, huh, Kaiga-yan?" He asked, but Kaiga didn't retorted like he normally do. I noticed he wiggled his free hand and Kira's eyes widened, falling down. That wasn't counted a charging due to Kaiga is still two meters away from him. Once, he fell, Kaiga jumped and made a point, adding to our present one.

'Just 9 more points to go. And what did Kaiga just did?' I asked myself as the game continued. The ball was in the white haired, Tadashi's hand. He was about to make a shot and Shintaro ready to jump when Tadashi suddenly widened his eyes, passing on the ball.

"What are you doing, Tadashi?" The Spaniard, Alejandro asked but Tadashi was too dumbfounded to answer. What exactly happened?

The ball was passed on Daiki and he was curious and confused how, but decided to find out later. Alejandro was about to steal the ball when he suddenly fell down.

"What the--"

"Dios mio..."

Daiki took this chance and made a shot, still confused at what happened.

"What the hell happened?" Luciano asked as Kira shrugged. We heard someone sighed heavily and saw Kaiga, fixing his turban again. His hands showing off red and blue strings, but faintly. Not too obvious for anyone to see, though I see it perfectly.

He eyed us, giving out an aura that could make toddlers cry, even though it's too colorful. The colors just made you cringe and fell down. Although, we didn't. Seijoh did.

"Let's dance under the strings of the puppeteer, shall we?" Kaiga asked and the ball was again in his hand. He freely pass through Kira, since he's down, but Takane suddenly stood up, ready to jump. Atsushi was also ready to stop him, but Kaiga stopped just behind Kira and made a shot. At first, it looks like a flaw, but the ball shifted and went inside the hoop.

"Is this Kaiga's true strength, nanodayo?" I heard Shintaro asked as I stored intently at my cousin. I don't know if that is really Kaiga. The mischievous and loud one.

"What kind of trick is he doing?" Luciano asked as Takane sighed.

"Mein gott."

"You just stood upon the presence," Kaiga said, standing straight and staring blankly at all of us, "Of the Master Puppeteer."

A/N:

So, did you like what I did to the chapter? Did you like Kaiga's ability as a puppeteer? Or didn't you understand what happened. Well, here's my explanation.

Kaiga's ability is called Puppet control so technically, he took control on whatever happens in the court with the blue and red strings Akashi kept on seeing. Actually, Akashi's the only one who can see it because he is very much qualified to obtain the Emperor's eyes. Kaiga's parents and Mikka also see it but I didn't  bothered writing it down.

Plus, the image above is what Kaiga suppose yo look like. Sorry if my drawing sucks. I was just drawing it for past time and I decided to show it to you. Was I okay?  I imagine him to be more handsome than that, but that's all I can draw. Hope you like it.
