Slender woke with a start, 'what's going on?' he asked himself before standing up and walking out into the hallway. The crying sounded louder here, following the noise he came to stand in front of a white door.

"Shh, don't cry, come on you're both okay." Slender frowned, two of his children were crying. "Come on Jeff stop crying, act like a big brother," the same voice said. Without waiting another second Slender opened the door and walked inside. Jeff had tears sliding down his face, his eyes looking genuinely scared but concerned at the same time. He was hugging an equally shaken up Sally to his chest, who sobbed uncontrollably. Eyeless Jack was hugging them both, running his hands through Jeff's and Sally's hair in a soothing motion. Jack looked up as the door opened, "Slendy help, they won't stop crying, I tried everything." Slenderman quickly walked towards his children only to hug them as they both threw themselves into his arms.

Jeff must have really been scared for he rarely showed any type of 'weakness', as Jeff liked to call it. "Hey, it's alright, I'm here, we're here," he whispered looking towards Eyeless Jack, he nodded in appreciation. Eyeless Jack nodded back before standing, "I'm gonna make some hot chocolate, come down when you're ready." With that he left the room, leaving Slenderman with his frightened kids.

"Sl...Slendy it...it was u...ncle h...e tried to t...ake me a...away," Sally sobbed. Slenderman tensed at the mention of such a vile man. "Don't worry Sally that man will never be able to harm you again, I promise," Slenderman promised 'kissing' the top of Sally's head. Sally started to relax little by little, looking up at him she smiled, "you promise?" Slender nodded, "I promise." He hugged her tightly in comfort before turning to his other child.

Jeff was quiet and for a second he believed he had fallen back asleep but a quiet sneeze proved him wrong, "Jeff?" he asked softly. Jeff slowly looked up at him before smiling sadly. "Hi Slendy!" Slenderman sigh, every time this happened Jeff always smiled and never told anyone what he was feeling, thinking, or dreading. "Jeff, do you want to talk about it?" Slender asked cautiously. Jeff shook his head slowly before standing up and walking to the door. "Come on, we better hurry up or the hot chocolate won't be hot anymore, he chirped starting to run downstairs.

Slenderman rubbed his forehead with his free hand before standing up with Sally in his arms. "Jeff was crying," Sally said softly. Slenderman nodded starting going downstairs. "He was, but don't worry he'll be okay," he reassured, but he himself was worrying whether that would be true or not.

Reaching the kitchen he heard laughter, Jeff and Eyeless Jack were laughing while pointing at a whinnying Smile Dog, it didn't took a genius to see that they had given the dog hot chocolate, who had burned himself when trying to drink it.

Sally noticed this too and she frowned. "Hey, that's mean, and chocolate is poisonous to dogs." Hearing this Smile Dog stopped his whinnying looking over at Sally. Sally pointed at Jeff and E.J. who stopped laughing, "Charlie said that chocolate is like poison to dogs, so you should not feed any to Smile Dog." Jeff gulped before going to kneel before Smile Dog, "you okay, Smile?" Smile Dog nodded slowly before tentatively trotting toward the stairs.

Slenderman put Sally down on a chair before starting breakfast. The sun was quickly coming up.

Soon, an hour later, people started finding their way down the stairs. Toby being the first one up asking for waffles, closely followed by a stressed Masky, Hoddie quietly following behind him. Ben ame in next, video game in hand, shouting how boring it was to play easy games. Laughing Jack ran inside knocking over a small pot containing the remaining hot chocolate. He soon was put to clean it.

Sitting down to eat breakfast everyone started chatting happily, angrily, with each other. All looked to be perfectly peaceful until a sudden crash and some yells came from the floor above, shutting everyone up. Everyone looked at each other before looking up. "What was that?" Jeff whispered.

"I'm sorry, that was us we..." "Slendy, why would you leave us in that dark, forsaken place?" "Is there any food for us?" Everyone jumped at the sudden voices. In came the slender brothers, Splendor holding a door.

Eyeless Jack recognized the door and slowly walked towards it, "my...my door," he stuttered out. Splendorman smiled putting the door down. "Oh yeah, sorry about that, we tried to open it without breaking it but in the end it just fell altogether."

Slenderman felt his blood starting to boil. "What are you guys still doing here and if you didn't know you could have just teleported out." "Oh yeah, we forgot, sorry," Offenderman answered before looking at Toby's waffles hungrily.

Before anyone could react he ate all three waffles. Toby looked devastated. "My waffles," he whispered. Offenderman pated him on the back smirking. "Yeah, sorry kid, but don't worry they were delicious!" A wild look appeared on Toby's eyes. "My waffles," he whispered darkly. Everyone, except Slender's brothers, gulped. You just didn't mess with Toby's waffles.

Slenderman quickly looked towards were all the waffles were kept only to find it empty. Frantically now, he started looking around, but they were out and almost everything and what they had, Toby didn't like.

"Toby you want my waffles?" Ben asked putting his videogame down. Toby seemed to visibly calm down before devouring the waffles being offered. Everyone sigh in relief, they had been saved. "Thank you," Toby said through a mouthful of waffles, 'yes, thank you,' everyone thought.

Looking over everything that was missing in the kitchen Slenderman rubbed his forehead before glancing at his children. "Okay listen up," he commanded, everyone looked at him, "we are missing a lot of things in the kitchen so if you all hurry up and help me clean the house, you will be allowed to a company me into town." All present smiled widely, "Really? You'll let us accompany you?" Ben and Sally asked simoteniously. Slenderman nodded before standing up and putting his dirty plate and glass in the sink, "I wil, now hurry and clean up, we'll be leaving at noon." At once everyone, even Slender's brothers, stood up and went to help with something.

By eleven everyone was ready.
