To hell (aka school) part 2
Warning: Cursing, misgendering, and school lol
For a school, mine was extremely small. It made sense, I lived in your stereo typical small southern town. Though, it was still school, and probably worse. The outcasts, anyone who didn't stick to the status quo, were noticed more, and were even picked on by teachers. So now you know why I like ditching so much.
I went to enter the school, but something shining in the distance, but when I tried to get a better look, I bumped into someone.
"Asshole!" I heard them say. I am definitely not ready for this. I looked back to the source of light, but nothing was there any more. Huh, maybe I imagined it.
I wearily stepped into the school, and as soon as I did, some one bumped into me. God dammit
I tried to squeeze my way to my home room without getting noticed, and somehow, I succeeded. There were still some dirty looks and shoves, but it was better than usual.
My home room teacher greeted me with a glare, but honestly, i've dealt with worse. I sat down, and soon everyelse did too. The teacher made his way up to the front of the class and cleared his throat.
"Everyone, pay attention! I have an important announcement about the book fair!"
Ironically, everyone was doing everything in their power to not listen to him. And rather than chew gum or pick a scab, I decided to actually do something meaningful with my time, and I decided to write in my journal. I might as well.
The journal was mostly compiled of doodles and interesting things I felt that I had to write down. My eye kept wandering towards the window, and I thought I saw something. A lot has been going on, I think I should write this down.
"Young man! What do you think you're doing" The teacher bellowed. I looked up to see who he maybe yelling at, but when I looked up, he was starring straight at me. I quickly slammed my journal closed and sat up.
"I don't think you'll be needing this!" He snatched the book away from me, even after my pointless attempt to keep it away from him.
"Hey!"
"You can get it back later," He replied back.
I slouched in my seat while avoiding eye contact with my classmates. I'm pretty sure a couple snickered, but I wasn't paying attention. The only thing I did was wait for class to end so I could finally get my journal back.
***Time skip y'all
I was the last in class as i made my way up to my teacher's desk. I stood awkwardly as I awaited for my journal.
"May I have my journal back?" I looked at my shoes and fidgeted with my rings.
"Ari, I'm noticing that your grade in this class isn't the best. And this is probably why. If you can get an A in this class, I might give your journal back to you,"
I felt extreme anxiety as he locked the drawer he put my journal in. I was worried he would look in there, and even though there was nothing much in there, it still would violate my privacy. I shuffled out of the classroom to my next class not wanting to be late, even though it's pointless going there. Someone ran into me, causing my things to scatter across the ground as my peers watched. I suddenly felt sick, so I tried to grab all of my things, but failed and dropped some pens.
Oh forget them I thought I just have to get out of here
I ran to the entrance of the bathroom sat at the space in between the two.
"Hey, Ari, let me guess, shitty day?" I looked up to see Izzy, with a sympathetic look on his face. "And why are you crying in the hallway?"
I chuckled and wiped my tears, "I didn't know which one I would go in! On one hand I'd have to deal with a frat boy or druggie, but I really don't feel like seeing a cheerleader right now."
Izzy smiled. "Do you need anything or do you wanna be alone?"
I shook my head.
"Wanna go to Starbucks?"
"Hell yeah,"
Hey sorry if some parts don't make sense I wrote this at like 1 an
