MEMORIES

"Hoy, Aster! Ay punyeta! Mamaya na landian, gaga!"

I turned when I heard Diane speak. Wait, how am I here with them? What happened with the woman and the Aeras? Why am I suddenly with them here in the Semideus Island?

Kusa akong tumawa- out of my will and consciousness. Then I turned my gaze to Aster and- ha? Bakit magkatabi sila ni Gideon? Nagkabalikan sila?

Gideon stuck his tongue out, "Inggit ka lang, men."

Diane raised her middle finger, and I laughed again. Nagulat ako nang magsalita ako.

"You guys, stop it. We still have to go somewhere," suway ko sa kanila. Huh? Saan kami pupunta?! Bakit alam ko, pero hindi ko alam?

Then realization slowly crept to me. This is a memory. They were my friends.

Pero bakit nila ako nakalimutan? Who messed us with our memories?

"What mission is it this time, Xyn?" I turned to Damon who just talked. He was still the same semi-bald, hunk, and scarred Damon, only with lesser scars.

I shrugged. "Hindi ko pa alam. Basta kailangan muna nating pumunta kay Zeus."

Zeus. Was I a Zeus' mentee before too? Ibig sabihin, kahit ang mga Diyos ay nakalimutan ang pagkatao ko? Who really am I?

"Where is Zeref?" tanong ko sa kanila.

Woah, I even knew Zeref before.

"May iba nang nilalandi si Master-" Gideon answered, but he stopped when I glared at him. "Oy! Joke lang, lods! 'To naman, hindi mabiro."

"You're looking for me?" napalingon naman ako sa likod ko nang marinig si Zeref. Nakapamulsa siya, at nakangisi sa'kin. I noticed that his hair was longer this time.

Inirapan ko siya at tinaasan ng kilay, "Yes. Late ka na naman."

Nagulat ang inner self ko nang akbayan niya ako. Zeref bent down to my ear and whispered, "H'wag kang maniniwala kay Gid. Sa'yo lang ako, miss." Then, he chuckled boyishly afterwards.

Internal panic! Teka lang! Bakit- Ba't niya sinabi 'yon? Omg! Anong meron sa'min before?!

Hindi sumagot ang sarili ko, at binilisan ko ang lakad palayo. I think we were heading to the plaza or center of the Semideus Island, where the circular teleportation platforms lies.

Hindi nagtagal nakarating kami r'on, at tumayo kaming lahat sa malaking plataporma. I noticed that many Semideuses were watching us- more like, amazed.

I turned to Zeref who was looking around. He licked his lower lips before looking at me again, and smiled. Once again, I panicked when his hand slid to mine, and our fingers are intertwined.

ANONG NANGYAYARI?!?!?!?! MINI HEART ATTACK.

"Wow, master. Speed! Label muna!"

"Shut up, Gid," singhal ni Zeref sa kaniya. He heaved a sigh before looking at me again, and raising an eyebrow.

Tiningnan ko ang sarili ko sa mga mata niya at napansing iba ang hitsura ko. My hair was brown, and my eyes were violet. It was very similar to the appearance of the girl in the painting and my dreams.

After all, it was truly me.

"Don't stare, Xyn," ani Zeref at nag-iwas tingin habang namumula ang tainga.

Just like what Aster usually does, she chants a Greek incantaion and symbols would glow around the platform. Sa isang iglap, nasa isa na naman kaming isla.

No, this is somewhere else. It's not Zeus' or any island I've been before. Nas'an kami?

"Ah, finally!" Diane said.

Nanliit ang mata ko habang tinitingnan ang paligid. There were rich materials around. I looked down to my hand, and noticed that Zeref was still holding it.

Oh, shit. Bumibilis na naman tibok ng puso ko. Baka mahimatay ako! I still need to see my memories, so I removed my hand from his. Nagtaka naman siya, pero kaagad akong lumingon sa taong nagsalita.

"Welcome to the Underworld!" A man with jet black hair and red eyes. Hades? God of the Underworld.

This does not look like underworld at all. I thought underworld would be a place of fire and flames like hell. Akala ko lang pala.

This place is made of gold, diamonds, and any rich gems.

"I am also known as the God of Wealth, all the riches are mine. Well, if someone steals the gems, I bet your afterlife would not be good. But we'll see." He laughed and joked around.

"Marami rami pa tayong pupuntahan, Fields of Elysium, Fields of Asphodel, Fortunate Isles and a look at Tartarus," he continued and snapped.

"Why do we need to be here, anyways? I thought we're going for a mission, Lord Hades?" diretsong tanong ni Diane.

Hades nodded and stifled a smirk. "Yes, your mission is to see the underworld. Ayaw niyo ba n'on?"

"It's not thrilling," sagot ni Damon.

Zeref scoffed. "E'di 'wag kang sumama, Mamon," he joked and chuckled. Ay, sama ugali mula noon!

Hades just shook his head, and snapped. In an instant, we were teleported to a new place.

"This is the Fields of Asphodel. Shades or souls who have neither lived a very good or very evil life are sent in here. They drink in the River of Forgetfulness, and forget everything," pagpapaliwanag sa'min ni Hades.

The place looked less lively than the mortal world. It really looks like a ghostly place because it lacked colours. Every shade acted robotic or military like.

The shades gazed at us, base on their apperance, they really look dead people- pale, lifeless or colorless. Emotionless.

"I really don't like visiting in here so I prefer we go to our next destination?" tanong ni Hades, they nodded.

"I hate the atmosphere here, jeez," bulong ni Hades. Once again, he snapped and we were sent to a new place.

"We are in the Fields of Elysium, where good people go here and spend their afterlife happy and free." Hades said and looked around.

"Thanatos!" tawag niya. I looked at Lord Thantos, and noticed that the shadow of death was still lurking around him. Always naman ata.

Nagkunot-noo siya kay Hades, "What do you need, grandpa?"

"Gago ka. Papunta kami mamaya sa Tartarus. Alam mo na ang gagawin!"

Why would we go to Tartarus? Ang alam ko delikado d'on because the most evil and even the overthrown Titans are chained there.

Thanatos exhaled sharply, and raised his middle finger. "Bebe time ko mamaya, bobong hari."

"Pake ko?" sagot naman pabalik ni Hades, at umiling. Binalik na niya ang atensyon niya sa'min.

"If you'd look around, mortals have different lives here. Depending on what they want, as long as they deserve it. Kung gusto nila ng bahay, they are granted with it," pagpapaliwanag muli ni Hades.

May isang batang babae na sa harap niya'y isang kastilyo ang nakatayo, with maids, soliders and a prince. She twirled around with her gown which seems like to be a costume of Cinderella.

Another is a couple, with a house and a garden. Sabay silang nagdidilig ng halaman at nakangiti sa isa't isa. Wow, sana all forever.

"We'll probably be like that in our afterlife." Gulat naman akong napatingin kay Zeref dahil sa sinabi niya. His eyes smiled looking at the couple, then looking back at me.

"But I'd probably die first. I will protect you, Xynthea, even if it means death," seryoso niyang wika na nakapagpatalon ng puso ko.

I acted out of ny consciousness again, and punched his arm. "Don't tell things like that, Zeref."

He sighed, "I'll kill anyone who dares to kill you, my Xyn."

Hindi ako makapaniwalang alaala ko 'tong lahat. My heart ached, knowing that I remember him now, while he still doesn't remember me.
