Everyone looked at Tori, staring daggers.

Tori, I guess she had a death wish, smiled. She smiled!

"Hi guys. It's been long." She said.

Kasdar and Kasey looked between their aunt and my family, confused.

"You've met before?" Kasdar asked.

"Ya, your aunt here betrayed us." Gomin hissed.

The twins looked shocked. Tori sighed.

"I guess I should explain myself." Tori said.

"You think." Sinaya replied, sarcastically.

"You better explain yourself and it better be quick or else we are throwing you in jail." Sorak said. I have never seen him so angry.

"Tori, what are they talking about?" Kasey asked.

Tori sighed. "Kasey, you've heard about how Mickey broke the curse and all."

Kasey nodded. Kasdar continued to lean against the wall, an indifferent look on his face.

"Well, the bracelet that had been lost." Tori started and trailed off.

Danny finished it for her. "She stole it. It was with her."

Kasey glared at Tori. "Why?"

Tori looked frustrated and scared. "I actually want to talk to the King and Queen." she started. We all waited for her explanation until she said. "Alone."

Then everyone started talking at the same time.

"That's not fair!" Gomin demanded.

"I'm the next heir to the throne and I demand to know." Sinaya said.

"This concerns my family. This is your fault." Kameron threw in.

"Aunt Tori, why didn't you tell us! You have no right to keep this from us!" Kasey yelled.

"I'm not letting my parents talk to a lunatic on their own." Rodger stated.

Danny nodded in agreement.

The only person who didn't say anything was Kasdar who continued to look bored as if this happened everyday.

Tori rolled her eyes. With her spiky green hair and green eyes, looked more like a rebel instead of a guardian.

"It's a long story." She sighed.

"We have time." Sorak replied, coldly.

"Well I want to speak to you privately. This is not something I wish to discuss in public." she replied.

"No matter what you say, they'll tell us eventually so spill." Rodger demanded.

She sighed. "Fine then. Take a seat."

Everyone took their seat while Kasdar remained where he was.

"It was a while back. Kasey and Kasdors dad, he was murdered." Tori started.

I stared at Kasey, shocked. She turned away, tears in her eyes. Kasdar on the other hand didn't flinch. But I noticed that his jaws were clenched.

"First thing you should know, I'm not their aunt. Our parents were really close and well, my parents died along with their dad." Tori went on.

"I'm really sorry." Tara said.

Tori shook her head. "Ya. I am too. But anyway, Kasey and Kasdar didn't have another family. I was the only one who could look after them. But I was too young for such a responsibility. I still am."

At this both Kasdar and Kasey stared at Tori, confused.

"So why did you steal the bracelet?"Kasey asked.

"Because I thought that maybe, maybe I could bring them, your dad and my parents, back to life."

No one spoke. Everyone was silently staring at Tori.

"I managed to get my hands on it and I thought that if by chance I could get the book then maybe..."she trailed off

Kasey shook her head. "You shouldn't have done that."

"I know. But I was scared. I was scared I couldn't raise you well enough."

Kasey smiled at her. "I know you will."

Tori smiled back.

And then Kasdar spoke. "Ok enough with all this sentimental stuff already."

I rolled my eyes but unfortunately he saw me doing that.

He smirked and winked. I raised my eye brow. He just shrugged and looked away.

"Well, I'm sorry for your loss and I understand that you were worried but what you did was horrid and you know it's forbidden to bring back the dead. And not to mention impossible." Sorak said sternly.

Tori looked down and nodded. "I'm sorry. I really am. I didn't mean to cause trouble."

Tara sighed. "You're forgiven."

Tori looked up in surprise. "I am?

"Yes."

Thank you so much!"

Tara gave her a small smile. "You're welcome."

"Well, we better go now. I only came to explain." Tori said.

"But what about dinner?" I asked.

"Maybe next time." Tori replied.

I nodded and they got up to leave.

Kasey waved at us. "See you around." And with that they left.

Sinaya turned towards my dad. "Are you really going to let her off the hook that easily?"

Sorak frowned. "Not really. I feel like she is hiding something."

"I know she is hiding something." Kameron said.

Sorak called Alex the butler. "Please call the guards."

Alex bowed down. "Yes sir."

We decided to eat dinner.

"I can't believe we got all dressed up for nothing." Gomin whined.

I laughed. "Stop being a baby."

"Whatever." He grumbled.

Just then the guards came.

Sorak said. "I want you to keep a close eye on the new family, Tori and the kids. If you see anything suspicious, tell me."

"Yes sir." One of the guards, Mark, said.

And they left.

After we finished eating dinner, Gomin Danny and I decided to watch a movie.

"Let's watch Frozen." I said.

"What are you? Two years old." Gomin teased.

I shrugged. "What do you suggest we watch?"

"Let's watch Scooby Doo."

"Nah. We watched that last time." I said.

"What about The Giver." Danny suggested.

Gomin scoffed. "That's lame."

Danny raised his eye brow. "And why is that?"

Gomin didn't have an answer.

"The Giver it is then." I said, inserting the CD.

30 minutes into the movie, Rodger and Kameron joined us. They bought pop corn and chocolate with them.

Soon after Sinaya, mom and dad also came.

I looked at everyone who was watching the movie with funny expressions on their faces and smiled.

It was these rare moments that make me smile on bad days.
