I didn't want to open my eyes. I had a pounding headache and I could feel my whole body shivering.

But I knew I had to get up and face reality. Slowly opening my eyes, I noticed I was on a bed. I tried getting up but felt nauseous.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. Just rest for a while."

I look towards Sinaya and see her sitting on the chair next to my bed.

I groaned. "I failed."

"Mickey, don't blame yourself for this. You tried your best."

"I put the spell on them."

"Because Jemin tricked you. He tricked us all."

"I'm guessing the boys told you."

"Ya. Chase was knocked out cold. He woke up a few hours ago. Everyone else had minor injuries that were easily healed."

Suddenly I felt tears in my eyes. I couldn't help it. It was too much and now my little siblings were held in a cage and I put a spell and doomed us all.

Sinaya must have noticed my tears. "Oh Mickey." She said, pulling me into a hug.

And I cried. I don't remember the last time I cried. I don't cry. But right there, at that moment, I broke down.

After a few minutes, I managed to stop the tears. I let go of Sinaya, wiping my eyes.

"Sorry about that." I muttered, slightly embarrassed.

"Don't be. Mickey, you are the strongest person I've ever met. You've been through so much and you're always composed and calm. It's not fair that you had to go through all this. I know Jemins betrayal hurt, you two were close. But this whole situation isn't your fault."

"But Sinaya-"

"No. Listen to me. It's Jemins fault. He lied. And it's Robby's fault. He betrayed us and turned Kate into some monster. And this whole thing is Jared's fault. You tried your best. You didn't fail. Not yet. It's not over."

I slowly nodded my head and gave her a small smile. "Thanks. I needed that."

"What are sisters for." She replied with a wink.

"But there's something I can't get out of my head." I said with a frown.

"What?"

"Cole. He warned me. He said I trusted too easily and he told me that if he was me he would be careful about what spells he used."

Sinaya frowned. "Why would he do that?"

I shook my head. "I have no idea."

Before either of us could say anything, Rodger walked in.

"Oh you're awake. Thank goodness. We need you."

"What's going on?" I asked, panicked.

"Calm down. We were just about to have a meeting and we needed you there."

"Oh. Ok. Let's go."

I got up along with Sinaya and we followed Rodger to a big room.

All the royalties and my parents along with both Chase's and Gomins parents were there. James, Jordan, Gomin, Chase, Stark, Fany, Kameron and Kent were also present. But the people whom I was completely baffled to see were Kasey and Kasdar along with Tori.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked, completely surprised.

"They arrived a few hours before you guys." King Philip said.

"How did you guys escape?" I wondered.

Tori shook her head. "You don't want to know."

I smiled. "Well I'm just glad you guys made it safely."

Tori stared at me, a look of confusion on her face. "After everything I've done, you're glad to see me alive. James even said you guys went to save us."

I shrugged. "It wasn't your fault. Anyone would have done it. I know I would have. This isn't your fault. It's Jared's. Everything is his fault."

Tori walked up to me and looked at me. What I wasn't expecting was for her to engulf me in a big hug.

"Thank you. I've never met someone with such a pure heart. I'll forever be grateful."

With a small smile, I returned her hug.

I looked up and saw Kasey and Kasdar smiling.

She let go and walked back.

"Ok. Enough with sentiments. We have important matters to discuss." King Destin said.

Everyone looked at Kasdar who cleared his throat.

"In return for your kindness." He started, winking at me. "We bought a gift."

I frowned. "What is it?"

"The real question is 'who is it'" Queen Ella said, a small smile in place.

"What?" I asked, completely confused.

That's when I noticed that Jordan and Rodger had left the room. And at that moment they came back.

Both were carrying a person who were unconscious.

Rodger was carrying Robby.

Jordan was carrying Kate.

My eyes went wide with shook.

"We bumped into her when we were trying to escape." Kasey said. "And well, we managed to knock her out and bring her along. They've been placed under a spell."

I didn't know what to say. "This is great! We just need to convince Robby to undo the spell."

"This is what we need to talk about." My mom said.

"Do you think Robby will actually lift the spell?" Fany asked.

Stark shrugged. "You have to remember why he did what he did. It was because he thought he was helping."

Kameron looked at Stark, a deadly look in his eyes. "Are you defending him?" He demanded.

Before anyone could say anything else. Chase grabbed Stark by the collar of his shirt.

"Chase, let him go." Chase's dad demanded.

Stark put his hands up. "Dude calm down. I'm not defending him."

Jordan sighed. Getting up, she said. "It's this evil aura. We are all on edge and need to calm down." She approached Chase but before she could try to make him let Stark go, James spoke up

"What the hell are you doing? He isn't thinking straight. Move."

Jordan looked at James. "He won't hurt me."

"He isn't thinking straight. Get away from him. Now."

"You are not the boss of me."

"Don't argue with me Jordan, move."

Before they could continue, Fany interrupted. "I'll do it myself."

Stark was first to object. "Do not dare take a step. Sit. Down."

Fany's eyes flashed dangerously. "Is it because I'm a girl?"

"Ok. This is getting out of hand. Chase, let Stark go." Queen Linda demanded.

Chase slowly started to let him go. "Don't ever try to defend him."

"I wasn't. I was just about to say that he must have a little humanity left in him. That's his sister after all."

Kameron scoffed. "He is heartless ."

I noticed Rodger frown and sighed. This wasn't going to end well

"Look, what he did was bad but you can't blame him. He just wanted us back and he was next to disappear and you guys wouldn't get Mickey involved. It's scary being next, Kameron."

Shockingly it was Gomin who talked next. "So what? They had to drag Mickey into this? This isn't her fault. Just because your brother was a coward, it doesn't mean they had to put Mickeys life in danger."

Sinaya must have noticed the look of anger on Rodgers face and said. "You guys don't understand. It was scary, knowing you would disappear. Knowing you were going to die or worse."

"But you didn't try to betray your family." Kent said. "You guys were strong."

Sinaya looked at Kent. "I know honey but I can't blame Robby for being scared."

Both Chase and Kameron lost it, yelling. My head started to pound.

"What do you mean you can't blame him? Are you all on his side? Did Kate mean so little to you?" Kameron spit.

It was terrifying. Seeing someone who was so calm, lose it.

Sinaya slowly looked at Kameron and I knew he shouldn't have said that. Kate and Sinaya were always at each others throat but they loved each other so much.

"How dare you say that? Just because you are her twin doesn't mean you loved her more or we loved her any less. She is my little sister. Who the hell do you think you are?" Sinaya lost it.

They were standing nose to nose.

Kent got up, scared. "Kameron if you touch her, I will not hesitate to end your life."

"Are you threatening him?" Chase demanded.

That's when everything went crazy. Everyone was yelling and arguing.

"ENOUGH" my dad yelled and the whole room fell silent. Everyone was slightly panting, breathless from arguing.

"When I called this meeting I wasn't aware that we were dealing with a bunch of children." My dad said, sternly.

Rodger tried to say something but dad shot him a look

"I'm disappointed in all of you. You guys are supposed to be leading these worlds. You will face countless of problems and today you have proven that you guys are all immature kids, blaming one another." King Destin continued.

Everyone looked down, ashamed.

"Now if you won't handle this professionally then I suggest you leave." My mom said.

Everyone kept quiet. No one left.

"Good now let's continue." Gomims mom said.

"I think we should wake Robby up. Let's put a binding spell so he doesn't go anywhere but let's try to talk to him. What he did was horrible but he is still our brother. He is family." I said.

I noticed Chase and Kameron biting their lips.

"I think Mickey is right." Chase's mom continued. "Maybe we can talk him into lifting the spell."

Gomins dad shook his head. "He won't. He's too scared."

Kasdar nodded his head. "Once he lifts the spell, there is nothing preventing us from killing him."

"Which brings us to our next topic." Queen Linda went on. She looked at us all but lingered at Kameron and Chase. She continued. "If he does undo the spell, what do we do with him."

Suddenly the room felt suffocating.

"I will kill him." Kameron said.

Rodgers eyes flashed. He was always so close to Robby. It must pain him. "How dare you Kameron? He is your brother."

"He was dead to me the moment he hurt Kate."

Sinaya shook her head. "Killing him is too harsh. He is family."

"I don't care."

"Well I do." Rodger argued.

That's when my mom got up. She had tears in her eyes. "I need to get water." Before anyone could reply, she left.

My dad shook his head. "I'm disappointed in you guys." He said, looking at Kameron, Rodger and Sinaya.

"It's not our fault." Kameron replied.

"Do you know how hard it is for a mother to hear her kids deciding weather or not to kill her other child? Don't you think it pains her. She hates Robby for what he did to Kate. But he is her blood. She still cares."

The look of absolute guilt on my siblings faces were indescribable.

Sinaya started crying. Kameron sighed and went over to her.

"I'm sorry." And he hugged her.

Everyone was silent.

Rodger sighed. "This sucks."

Chase gave a dry chuckle. "You don't say." Then he looked at Kameron. "He deserves to die. But we shouldn't kill him."

That's when I decided to speak. I was apart of this family too.

"Kameron, if we kill someone, our own blood in fact, what makes us any better than murders?"

Kameron rubbed his eyes. This was hard on all of us.

"Fine. He doesn't die."

My dad nodded. "Let me get your mom."

As we waited for my mom and dad to come, Kasdar approached me.

"I'm sorry this happened."

I gave him a weak smile. "Don't be. None of us deserved any of this."

My mom and dad walked in. Queen Tara was always a strong woman. Which was why she was composed and showed no emotions as she sat down.

"The next thing we have to deal with is Jared." Kent said.

I bit my lips. "I'm sorry."

"Don't even dare apologize. This one is all on Jemin." Sinaya said.

"I've been thinking. Jemin knows the hide out. What's to stop him from telling kind Jared?" Jordan spoke up

Everyone went silent. No one had thought about that.

"Can this get any worse." James groaned.

"It's ok. We can put up spells. Traps." Kind Destin said.

"Great idea dad. Cause that'll stop them." James replied, rolling his eyes.

I interrupted before another argument could start. "Guys we have less than 24 hours before this spell takes place."

Tori stepped forward, biting her lips. "Actually some of us have less."

"What do you mean?" Stark demanded.

"For everyone to be completely under the spell, yes it takes 24 hours. But for some of us, it'll take less." Tori explained.

"Mostly teenagers and young adults take longer to be controlled. But older men and women, it'll take less time." Kasey went on. "We heard King Jared talking about it."

"Great. So we can be under his spell at anytime." Queen Ella said.

"I just don't understand why humans were needed." I said.

"They are pure. They aren't tainted with any form of magic. Even Danny couldn't be used because he knows about us and he has been here. Jace and Janet don't know anything about us. They are pure so the spell works on them." Kasdar explained.

I groaned. "Rob and Sadie must be going crazy."

"Look we need to fix this." James said.

"How?" I asked

"We need to find a spell to undo it. We need to get The Older Twin. There must be something in there." Gomins mom said.

"How? It's with Jared." Chase said.

"Looks like we are going back to the palace then." Queen Ella said.

"This time you kids stay, it's our turn. You've put yourself in too much danger." Gomins dad said.

"No way. If anyone needs to go, it's me." I said. "Only I can undo the spell."

"Why do you think that?" Gomin asked.

I shrugged. "It's probably powerful."

"Well I'm going too." Gomin said.

"No. It's an order. Us royalties will handle this one." King Philip said.

"Look. It's too dangerous. Tori said the spell will work on us last. Because we are young. You guys might fall under his spell at any times. We can't risk that." I replied.

No one could argue with that.

"Look, let's deal with one problem at a time." James said, looking at Robby

"Ok let's wake him up." My mom said.

This is going to be interesting.

I stepped forward. Muttering a spell, I put my hand on his head.

I saw his eye fluttering open. He looked at me and his eyes filled with panic. He sat up.

"If you kill me, Kate will always be evil." Robby said.

I groaned internally as I saw Kameron clench his fist. Can't Robby just keep his mouth shut.

"Robby, we are not going to kill you. But you need to lift the spell off of Kate." Rodger pleaded.

Robby looked at Rodger. "No."

"Why not?" Rodger asked.

"I won't betray King Jared."

I felt my blood boil but I knew I had to do something. I closed my eyes and everyone around us dropped, unconscious.

Robby's eyes went wide. "What did you do?"

"I saved your butt, that's what I did. They would have killed you." I said, my voice filled with anger.

"I don't need your help." Robby said.

"Trust me, Kameron and Chase would have killed you and no one would have stopped them. How can you say that?"

"What?"

"I won't betray King Jared. What has he ever done for you? We're your family and you betrayed us."

Robby sighed. "I didn't mean to." He whispered.

I sat next to him. I knew he couldn't move because I had already put a spell on him.

"You must be very powerful. You just made everyone unconscious."

I smiled. "Ya."

We were both quiet.

"I understand."

Robby looked at me, confused so I went on. "I understand why you did everything."

Robby bit his lips. "I'm sorry. I know those words wont fix anything but I needed to say it. I've been wanting to say it for so long. I'm sorry."

I nodded my head. "What you did was wrong. But you can make it right again. Just undo the spell Robby. Please."

"I can't. They'll kill me."

"We had a meeting before i woke you up. No one will kill you."

Robby laughed bitterly. "You guys talked about killing me."

"You can't blame us."

"Maybe I deserve to die."

"Maybe you do. But we aren't going to."

"Chase and Kameron love Kate. I almost killed her then I made her evil. They'll kill me."

"They won't. Kameron still cares about you. He is your brother."

Robby shook his head. "I can't."

"Please Robby. How can you live with yourself? She's your sister. Remember all the times she pranked you? All the laughs you shared? All the arguments, all the times she was there for you? She was so full of life. How can you live with yourself, controlling her and making her evil?"

That's when Robby did something that took me by surprise. He cried.

Tears fell uncontrollably and his shoulders shook. "You -you think I'm happy about it. Do you think I sleep peacefully, knowing I did this to my own sister? Do you think it's easy knowing your family wants you dead. And you can't blame them because you know it's your fault."

I looked at Robby and I felt pain. What he did was wrong but he is my brother. I gave him a hug. And he sobbed on my shoulder.

When I thought about it, this wasn't his fault. How he dealt with the situation was wrong but we all make mistakes. It wasn't even completely Jared's fault. He wanted to avenge his family who died fighting for their kind.

At the end of the day, we wanted to do what we thought was best for the people we love. This wasn't our fault. We were paying for the sins of those before us.

"Lift the spell Robby. Make things right."

"I don't want to die."

"They won't kill you." I promised.

He let go of me. "If you're so sure, make the oath."

I felt my eyes go wide. "Robby." I started but he went on.

"Mickey if you're so sure they won't kill me, make me the oath."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes."

The oath was a spell making a promise. And if a person broke that promise, they die.

"Robby."

"Mickey."

"If I do it, will you undo the spell?"

"I promise I will."

I looked at Kates unconscious body. Of course I would do the oath. Anything to get her back.

I grabbed Robby's hands and closed my eyes, muttering a spell. We were surrounded with a huge purple bubble.

I opened my eyes and looked at Robby.

"I, Mickey the youngest princess, promise no one will kill you out of vengeance for what you have done."

It was Robby's turn.

"I, Robby the third child of the king and queen, promise to undo the spell I have put on Kate."

Then we both said. "And if we break our oaths, we agree that our punishment will me death."

And as soon as those words left our mouths, everything went back to normal.

"Thank you Mickey."

I closed my eyes and muttered a spell. Everyone around us started groaning as they got up.

"What happened?" Gomin asked.

"My fault." I replied.

Kameron got up and looked at Robby. "I'll kill you."

"Before you guys do anything, Robby has agreed to lift the spell." I announced.

Everyone looked shocked. "He did?" Chase asked.

"That's great. I knew he would!" Rodger said, happy.

"And after he does it, you can't kill him." I went on.

"We already made an agreement." Chase said.

I took a deep breath knowing they were going to be angry. "And if you do, I will die."

"What are you talking about?" Sinaya demanded.

"I made the oath."

Everyone stared at me. Then Gomin lost it.

"What. The. Hell. Did. You. Just. Say!"

"I made an oath. He will lift the spell and if you kill him then I die."

"How could you be so reckless? Mickey, are you trying to die! I'm your protector but how can I protect you from yourself!" Gomin yelled at me.

"Don't yell at me! It's only fair! If none of you plan on killing him then what's the problem." I demanded.

"Can't you see how pissed Kameron and Chase are? Why would you risk it?"

"Because I know they won't kill him. Especially since my life is at risk too. I will not argue with anyone. Drop this conversation. He has agreed to lift the spell. I did what had to be done."

I turned towards Robby.

"Undo the spell."

Robby nodded. I lifted the spell that was binding him and he walked up to Kate. He grabbed her hands.

"How can he lift the spell? He doesn't have magic." Jordan wondered.

"King Jared put the spell. I need to say one word and it will all be undone." Robby explained.

"Well, say the word." Kameron
demanded.

He looked at us all, his eyes full of a thousand emotions. Then he looked down at his sister and only one emotion remained. Guilt.

"Release." He said.

Everyone held their breaths, waiting. Soon Kate started to stir and her eyes fluttered open.

Kameron raced up to her, kneeling. He hugged her.

"Welcome back."

I smiled and everyone started laughing. The air that was full of negativity felt lighter.

Kate let Kameron go and looked at us. "What's going on?"

Chase laughed full of relief. "It's a long story but I'm glad you're back. I missed you."

Kate looked at us, confused.

"Who are you guys?"

I felt my stomach drop and dread creeping throughout my body.

Kate looked scared. "Who are you guys?"

Everyone looked at each other, scared.

"Why is she saying that?" Kameron demanded, looking at Robby.

Robby shook his head. "I don't know."

We all looked at her.

"I have a question."Kate said.

"What?" I asked.

She looked me in the eyes. "Who am I?"
