"I gotta go my own way."

I looked up from the book I was reading and stared at Gomin as he sang.

"What about us? What about everything we've been through."

"Are you singing High School Musical?" I asked.

That's when Danny decided to join in.

"What about trust." He sang.

"You know I never wanted to hurt you."Gomin continued.

"I gotta leave but I'll miss yooouuuu." They finished together.

I stared at them. "Are you guys serious?" I shook my head. "Well, on the plus side, I've always known you guys loved each other."

"It's not our fault! We are soooo bored." Gomin complained.

"Lets go shopping." I suggested.

"No!" They simultaneously said.

I rolled my eyes. "Dorks. Teaming up against me."

Just then Kasdar walked in. Time for me to leave.

I got up. "Well I'll see you guys around." I didn't wait for them to reply. On my way out Kasdar grabbed my hands and pulled me to the side, out of earshot.

"Don't touch me." I demanded, yanking my hands away from his strong grip.

"Why are you avoiding me?" He demanded.

At this I looked away. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh please. You suck at lying. Why are you ignoring me?"

"Look, I have to go now." I said, turning around.

He grabbed my hands again. "Please."

I felt my body tense. Did he just say please?

I sighed and slowly faced him. "It's just been a rough few days."

Kasdar slowly nodded, letting go of me. "Well, you know you can....uh- you know." He stuttered, rubbing the back of his neck.

I raised my eye brow. "Ya?"

He cleared his throat. "You can trust me, I'll always be here for you if you need me."

Then tell me why you lied.

I nodded my head. "Thanks. I better go now."

Kasdar gave me a curt nod and I left.

"Ice cream."

"Pizza."

"Ice cream."

"Pizza!"

I rolled my eyes as Jace and Janet argued over what they wanted to eat. Janet wanted ice cream since she had a sweet tooth but Jace was in the mood for pizza since he had a big appetite.

"Who said I'd even take you guys out for either?" I commented.

"You will." They simultaneously replied.

I raised my eye brow. "Really?"

Jace smiled. "Please?"

"Whatever." I muttered.

"I have an idea. Lets have pizza then ice cream." Janet said.

"That's why you're my favorite sister!"

"Hey!" I called out, offended.

Jace gave me a sheepish smile. "Lets go."

"I don't want to go through the usual lecture. You guys are teenagers now. You are responsible so please behave."

"We always do." They simultaneously replied.

I got my purse and took out my keys. "Lets go."

It was a ten minute drive to the pizza place that we always head too. We listened to Chris Brown on our way because Jace loved him.

"Ok guys. Lets eat!" I declared as we made our way in.

The lady at the front desk asked us if we wanted a table for three and we said yes. She led us all the way to the back. She put down the menus on our table and left.

Jace and Janet stopped in their tracks and I looked at them. "What's wrong? Come on."

They didn't reply but instead continued to stare at the table next to ours. There were a bunch of kids that looked around Jace and Janet's age just messing around.

"Do you know them?" I asked.

Janet nodded. "That's Justin." She said looking at a tall blond boy.

"Oh." Awkward.

Jace shrugged and walked up to our table. Janet slowly followed and so did I.

We ordered our usual. Everything was going ok until Justin and his friends got up to leave and spotted us. Well spotted Janet anyway.

"Janet?"

I felt Jace tense next to me.

"Hi Justin." Janet muttered.

Justin gave a big smile. "How are you? It's been a while. I thought you said you had an appointment today and so you couldn't come out with us?"

"It got cancelled." Janet replied, shrugging.

"Cool. We're about to go watch a movie. Wanna join?" Justin asked.

I did not like Justin. You can tell he was a bad boy. Him and his gang were dressed all in black and they even looked rude.

That smirk he has on his face and his cocky attitude was not appealing to me in any way and there was no way Janet was going anywhere with him.

"No thanks. She's going to stay here." Jace said.

"No one asked you dork." Justin sneered.

"Don't call him a dork." I defended.

Justin looked my way. "And who are you?"

"I'm their older sister and you were just leaving." I replied.

"Not without Janet." He then turned towards Janet. "Come on, lets leave these embarrassing excuse of humans. You don't want to be seen with them."

Janet raised her eye brows and slowly stood up. "Don't. Ever. Call. My. Family. Embarrassing. You're a poor excuse of a human and I don't ever want to see you again."

Justin looked shocked but then he smirked. He placed his hands around Janet's waist.

That's when Jace lost it. He quickly stood up and shoved Justin. "Don't ever touch my sister again!"

Justin glared at Jace and tried to punch him but Jace managed to avoid it. That's when everything went out of control.

Justin's gang went in to attack Jace and Janet and I went to help him.

At the end of the day, we were all banned from the pizza place. Jace had a black eye, Janet was bleeding and I had a bump on my forehead.

On our way back home, Janet said. "Sorry guys."

"It's not your fault." I replied.

"And thanks."

Jace smiled. "If family isn't about getting into fights with people as a family to bond then I don't know what family is."

We also got grounded.

"I think we deserve to go to the movies." Gomin complained.

I rolled my eyes. "We haven't even found anything useful."

Danny groaned. "Mickey, we've been searching for ages! Can we please just take a break for the day."

Sighing, I closed the book I was reading. "Fine. We'll continue our search for The Older Twin tomorrow."

"Thank goodness!" Danny exclaimed, putting his own book aside and getting up.

"Seriously though, I can't believe there isn't anything about this book! Not once is it even mentioned." Gomin commented.

I nodded. "That's what I've been thinking. It's so weird."

Danny shrugged. "What movie should we watch?"

"I don't know but let's invite Hilary." Gomin said.

I smiled. "That's a great idea. You guys go ahead and call her. I'll be right there, I need to check something first."

The boys nodded and left the library. I walked over to the old computer that sat at the very back of the library and turned it on. It took awhile to start.

Once it started, I typed the words 'The Older Twin' and waited for some results. I can't believe we hadn't thought of searching it on this computer. It wasn't any ordinary one but rather magical. Since it was old though, no one used it anymore.

After two minutes I started getting bored and almost gave up, thinking there just wasn't any result. But that thought completely left as one link appeared.

I smiled, quickly printing out the page. As soon as the information was on paper, I shoved it into my pocket after folding it up.

I got up and turned around to leave when I almost knocked into someone.

"Oh I'm so sor-" I started but stopped when I saw who it was.

"It's fine dear." Tori replied. I hadn't seen her in a long time.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

Tori raised an eye brow. "Just wanted to get a book."

"So you decided to come into a private library at my house that is our own property instead of the public library that everyone else can use?" I questioned.

"Well the book I was looking for isn't available there but the librarian said that I would find it here." Tori explained.

"Who let you in? I mean no one is here except me." I lied, knowing that Danny and Gomin as well as Alex The Butler were all here.

"Oh. The front door was open so I let myself in. I hope you don't mind." Tori replied

I slowly nodded. "It's fine. I guess I should make sure that the door is locked."

Tori nodded. "Ya, you never know who might want to come in and......steal something." Tori said, a slight smile on her face.

I didn't bother replying to that.

"Well I best be on my way then." And with that she left. And I didn't fail to notice that she hadn't even taken a book.

Or the fact that she lied. The librarian at the public library doesn't know what books are available here. No one other than my family and maybe Jemin knew.

First Kasey and Kasdar lied and now Tori. What are they hiding?
