You walk out the door with Kakashi following.  You couldn't believe how careless he was being when he walked out the door. It was like he wanted to get caught being in my apartment! As you walked out the door, you scanned the area to make sure no one was around. Luckily no one was there to find out Kakashi had stayed the night. Even though nothing happened, other people wouldn't know that. You and him have only known each other for 2 days, but it felt like you guys had been friends for years. It was nice to finally meet someone that wasn't a selfish dick, or just outright annoying. The only thing that was bothering you was that he was your sensei. You did think he was playful, nice, smart, and super handsome, BUT you knew that it'd never work, so you didn't even think about trying anything.
You were snapped out of your thoughts when Kakashi said
"If you want you can get to the training before me"
You looked up at him.
"I don't care, I can just say that we ran into each other on the way here."
"Yeah, that works." He smiled.
Once you got to the training grounds EVERYONE looked at you and Kakashi. Sakura and Naruto yelled at you and Kakashi
"(Y/n)! Kakashi Sensei!! Finally you guys showed up! look you even found Kakashi sensei!" Naruto cheered.
"Im sorry for being late guys, I accidentally slept in late." you have a glance towards Kakashi
"On my way here, I ran into Kakashi Sensei" you shrug. Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke looked at kakashi.
LETS GET TO TRAINING!!!" Naruto says excitedly. "Yeah for once I agree with Naruto" Sasuke said with an attitude, he glared at you. He knew you didn't like him, but he never really understood why because you never explained your disliking of him. You knew it wasn't his fault that your parents died, but for some reason you blamed him. You are both cousins and your parents survived Itachi's attack because you were all in the Kakages office talking to him about finances or somthing... you thought to yourself 'maybe I don't like him because we're the same , his parents were killed and he was the survivor, just like me. I don't know why I blame him ... I bet besides him wanting revenge on Itachi, he's a nice guy'
you stopped thinking about it when the horrid memories of watching your parents die came to you.. they were so detailed it was like that jutsu sharnigan users can use to stop time and torture people ... all it is is genjutsu. Again you snapped out of your thoughts when Naruto snapped in your face, that's when you realized you were staring at Sasuke
"Tell me you aren't falling for Sasuke"
Naruto said annoyed. You shot Naruto a look that told him to never say that again, then you shot that same look to Sasuke, of course he wasn't affected. "Don't ever. EVER say that again. He's my cousin for fucks sake."
you said to Naruto in a voice colder then ice. Naruto was beyond surprised at the fact that you were cousins.
"And even if we weren't, I could never fall for the brother of my parents killer." you say coldly. Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura , and Kakashi all stood frozen, by the claim you just made.
"And before you ask, No, my cousin Itachi wasn't my parents killer it was Sasuke's other brother Akuma, and his name fits, Akumu means nightmare in English. Those two words are incredibly close, it's almost  like it was meant"
Your voice trembled with hatred. Sasuke stood in shock
"You're lying. I only have one brother, and it is Itachi."
"Or so you thought. Sasuke, Akuma was older then Itachi, and moved out of your house, and the village way before you were born. That's why you never heard of him. He killed my parents, your aunt and uncle, just for the fun of it. Akuma was the strongest shinobi in the village hidden in the leaves, who knows if he didn't become a rouge ninja he may of been the next Hokage. Ever wonder where Itachi got the slightest idea to go rouge? Akuma was 12 when Itachi was born, when Akuma was 15 he left the village after threatening my family... he said these exact words "I'll be back for your family Diaki, mark my words I will wait until you have a son or daughter. Then you and your family will die, and I'll make sure your kid will be the last to die, so they can see your death." My father told the Hokage about this and had 2 Jonin guarded us at all times, but that didn't stop him. A couple years later after the fall of the Uchiha clan ... Akuma finally showed up "
you start to form tears in you eyes.
"And he did what he said, he killed my parents in front of me..."
you were full on crying now thinking of the memories.
"Those two Jonin that guarded my family, were the ones that showed up and killed Akuma... I am alive because of those 2 Jonin, and I owe them my life.." you trail off interrupted by tears. You looked at Sasuke with tears still in your eyes
"I'm sorry... I or anyone else ever told you about Akuma ... I'm sorry ... I've been blaming you for my parents death all along" your voice cracks due to your crying.
"I'm so sorry for all of this time, it was never your fault..." you finished saying , you looked up to see Sasuke with his eyes filled with tears you could tell he was heart broken. You walked over to him and offered to give him a hug , he instantly pulled you into a hug you were both crying into each other's shoulder. You look off to your left to see Sakura and Kakashi looking at the ground. You finally pulled away from Sasuke.
"Sasuke I hope you can forgive me... and I want you to know , I was very wrong to blame you"
you say starting to cry again but you hold in the tears this time
"I'm so sorry, from now on I promise you I'll act how a cousin really should"
you smile while letting out a small sob, Sasuke looks at you and you can see that he's on the verge of tears again but just as their forming you raise your hand towards his face and wiped the forming tears away. He gave you a soft smile and said
"thank you (Y/n) , I never knew about Akuma , I knew about your past but never knew... and I fully forgive you, instead of acting like cousins let's act like siblings, we're more like siblings than anything else"He smiled softly.
"I'd like that"
"Ok , we should probably train now shouldn't we" he laughed and you both looked at Sakura , Naruto , and Kakashi they all were obviously heart warmed by what had just happened,
Kakashi looked at you, you could see how proud he was of you and Sasuke ... mostly you...
You walked over to him
"You can start the lesson now , sensei"
You looked over at Sasuke and smiled , and he smiled back, you were proud of yourself.
"So (Y/n), while the boys go and set the training gear up, I have a question for you." She smiled.
"Ok? What is it?"
"So obviously you know that I like Sasuke, and I think it's only fair if you tell me who you like."
"I don't like anyone."
"I'm calling bullshit, in this WHOLE village there's not one person you find attractive?" She says smugly
"Liking someone and finding someone attractive are 2 very different things." You say unemotionally
"Sooo you do find someone attractive then? WHO you gotta tell me !! Do I know him? Is he your friend? Are you dating him? What's he like!?" You completely ignored her when you saw that Kakashi overheard.
"Girls, this is training, not time to gossip about boys"
"Yeah sure, sensei" Sakura said immediately. Kakashi then went on about proper positioning for different moves.

"can we please just train nowwww? I want to learn somthing cool!!!" Naruto whined.
Kakashi looked annoyed. You wondered what had put him in such a bad mood, considering he was perfectly fine earlier.
"Fine Naruto! We'll train now..." he snapped. He was mad. you could tell by his very annoyed voice. You thought to yourself
'Did he get mad just over me and Sakura talking? Or was he annoyed about Naruto's constant whining?'
You looked at Naruto to see that he was scared...then again who wouldn't be?
You walk past Kakashi carefully, to Naruto and say "you want to go train with me? We can practice shirikan throwing?"
You said maybe too excitedly.
"SURE (Y/n) !! Let's go!!"
Naruto im started running to the area where we would train, you looked around and saw both Sasuke and Sakura were no where near by.
'hmm where is everyone?'
You when you heard a scream , not just any scream it was Sakuras! You shot a look to where Naruto just was and he was gone
"Oh Fuck"
you to where Kakashi was sitting, and see someone in the tree above Kakashi!
"Kakashi above you!" You screamed.
He quickly looked up, and saw the intruder had Shirikans. He was about to throw them until you jumped up, threw your kunai at the mans arm. Pinning his sleeve to the tree trunk. The man looked stunned for a moment, before trying to remove the kunai. However, Kakashi had already gotten up in the tree, and tackled him to the ground. You rushed over, with Naruto following you, and with your help, you and Kakashi got him into custody. Quickly after you got the attacker under control, you handed him off the the other ninjas.
"Good work (Y/n). I'm very proud to call you my student." Kakashi said.
you started to blush to but reminded yourself it was not time for that.
"Kakashi! The others, they're still missing! The guy we just captured had a sound village headband on... you don't think it's..."
"There's no way, he wouldn't attack again. Orichimaru isn't dumb enough to attack the leaf village right now. He's more calculated than that, these may just be others like him."
"Even if it is others, we have to warn the Lady Kakage!"
"You're right, I'll go warn Lady Kakage, you and Naruto scan the area for more of the sound villagers."
"Be careful"
"You too"
And with that you both headed in separate directions. You and Naruto jumped through the trees until you saw a pink outfit, Sakura.
You went on the branches of a near by tree, and saw Sakura and Sasuke tied up. The rope that was tied around them was a chakra powered rope.
'no wonder they couldn't get out of it.' You thought. As you listen you hear one of them say:
"We're not alone. Akea, go capture her."
You stood completely still, confused if they were talking about you or not. That is, until you feel someone's breath on the back of your neck.
"Hello pretty darling. You know stalking is not generally socially accepted right?" He says in a teasing, husky voice.
You turned around quickly to find a Jonin from the sound village behind you. You were in complete shock, and regardless of what you did, it felt like your body locked up.
This Jonin had fair skin, with dark hair, and piercingly dark hazel eyes. He was definitely a looker.
'Why are all the reallyyy hot guys either gay or straight up evil!?" You thought to yourself.
"So I suppose you're here to capture me, and tie me down to that tree with that chakra powered rope over there?" You say in a cocky tone.
"Yeah, but I could also tie you down to a bed if you want" he smirks.
You were disgusted by his comment, but decided to play along.
"Hmm maybe I'll take you up on that offer sometime."
you say this while pulling out a kunai knife from your front pocket.
"Maybe so" he said intriguingly.
Without a moment going by, you spin around and stab him in his lower abdomen with the kunai. The force behind your attack, is enough to also knock him from the tree branch.
"Sorry, but I'm not interested in douche bags."
You jumped down from the branch, in front of the tree that Sasuke and Sakura was tied up. Both of them were currently unconscious.
You looked around, and there was 5 sound ninjas all around you.
"Look who we have here, a genin from the leaf village" said the ninja in the middle. He seemed to be the leader of the group.
"Yeah we batter be careful, or we might break the delicate little flower." Said another. They all laughed.
"This flower is about to kick all of your asses." You spat.
"Ohh we got a feisty one. I like my concubines feisty" he gave a disgusting smirk, and his eyes followed your body.
"Are all men from the Sound village perverted? Just wondering, cause Orichimaru is,  that guy I just knocked out was, and now you. If that's the case I would hate to be dating in the Sound village." You say in a smug tone.
"I guess you'll find out soon babe. Capture her, but make sure she's not too damaged afterwards. Afterall, I don't like broken goods."
And with that, the 4 other ninjas leaped towards you. You immediately pulled out a handful of shuriken, and threw them forwards. You hit 2 out of the 4 in the chest region, slowing them down. You grab your Kunai, and throw it at one of the other men. The 3 men you hit, are now backing off. Now it's just a 1v1 fight between you and this Jonin. You had 2 shuriken left, and that was it.
He man looming before you was a large and older Jonin. He was probably close to 27 years old, but could still pack a hell of a punch. You thought about the best maneuvers to try and dodge his attacks, there was no doubt you were faster than him, but with that being said, he could easily anticipate where you were going next.
While you were debating what to do, the Jonin lunched forward and punched you in the gut. You let out a grunt in pain, and you stumble backwards.
As you're gathering yourself together again, your attacker walks closer and closer to you. You get ready for another attack, that is until Naruto came form the bushes behind you, and through a couple shuriken at the man. This made the giant of a guy, stumble back and lose his placement. The shuriken had hit his chest. While you were surprised about what just happened, Naruto used his jutsu, and sent his clones to go after the man. You immediately went to untie Sakura and Sasuke.
"Not so fast, did you forget that I was here?" Akuhei, the leader of this sound village group said.
You look behind you to see him leaning against another tree.
"Let us leave, and no one else will get hurt."
"Why would I do that? What type of man lets his new concubine escape?" He smirks.
Out of the corner of your eye, you see a Jonin from the village...
'Good, Kakashi got the Jonin's' you thought to yourself.
"Fine, I'll make you a deal. I'll be your concubine, IF and ONLY if, you let my friends go back safely."
"Hmm we could do that, boss won't be happy, but I sure will be" he says as his eyes scan your body.
"We have a deal then?"
"Sure, baby."
"Then let my friends go."
He snaps his fingers, and the rope that was holding Sasuke and Sakura falls to the ground. You watch as Naruto gets them up, and let's them lean on his shoulders. He starts to walk to where the group of Jonin's secretly are. The Jonin's have some type of way of being undetected by Akuhei, you weren't sure how though. After Naruto and the others are safe, you walk towards Akuhei. That's when the Jonin's surround him, weapons ready to attack.
"You sneaky bitch. I'm going to have to kill you for making such a dumb mistake." He spat at you.
"Yeah, good luck with that." You give him a cocky smile.
He lunges to attack you, but the Jonin's anticipated it, and captured him immediately. They had also already captured all of Akuhei's men, that you had fought earlier. After the Jonin captured Akuhei, you were to busy dealing with the adrenaline rush, that you didn't even notice Kakashi, and Lady Tsunade were there too. It seems they were both worried about what this attack could mean.
"(Y/n). I want to personally thank you for your bravery, and strength. It's very rare we get a genin that's as strong and courageous as you." Lady Hokage told you.
"Thank you Lady Hokage. It means a lot coming from you." You bow and thank her.
"I'm sure you and your sensei have a lot to discuss, I am going to go help with the investigation." She says, and peacefully leaves.
"Hey." You say to Kakashi.
"Hey, (Y/n). Good job, just like the Hokage said, you are very gifted. I think you'll make a hell of a Jonin some day."
"How's Sakura and Sasuke?" You ask worriedly.
"They're hurt, but not too badly. They're currently being treated at the hospital."
"We should go visit them"
"Right now let's let them heal. Tomorrow, me, you, and Naruto can go see them. We should head back, I want to make sure you're ok as well. Taking on that many ninjas, especially at this early stage of training, can do a lot of damage to one's health."
"I'm fine. Thank you for your concern though."
"It wasn't a request, we are heading to my place, so I can make sure you're ok." He says sternly.
"Ok."
You all head back to the village. The sound village attackers were thoroughly investigated, and are sitting in jail until a trial date can be made. Sasuke and Sakura are at the hospital healing. Sasuke had a concussion, which is thought to have occurred from one of the men slamming his head back into the tree trunk they were tied to. Sakura had cuts all over her body. Some were shallow, but others were deep. It's thought that one of the men used her kunai to carve into her skin. Naruto headed back to the village, and asked Iruka to buy him Ramen. You followed Kakashi to his place, which was a nice apartment that had a beautiful view of the village.
"Sit on the couch, I'm going to go get my stuff to make sure you're ok."
"Ok, Dr. Kakashi." You say jokingly
He gives you a small smile, and disappears into the next room. He comes back, with a bag that has god knows what in it.
"Relax, it just has basic medical supplies in it. You look like I'm about to put you under an operating table, and dissect you."
"I mean... at this point, I wouldn't be surprise if that WAS what you were going to do" you laugh.
He pulls out a stethoscope, and sits next to you.
"Is this REALLY necessary, Kakashi? I'm fine. I promise"
"Take a deep breath" he says, completely ignoring your comment. You sigh, and take a breath in, and then out. You noticed that he had his left hand on your leg for balance, while his right hand was holding the stethoscope. His hand was warm, and although he did this subconsciously, you could still tell that he was being gentle. He wasn't putting all his weight on that hand, which you thought was sweet. Next he had you stand up, so he could make sure you didn't have any cuts or bruises.
"You have a couple dark bruises on your arms, do they hurt?" He asked.
"Kakashi, I'm completely fine. I've dealt with worse before, much worse. You don't need to keep making sure I'm ok."
This time he listens, and without saying a word, he got up, and put the bag back in the other room. When he returned you were standing up, with your back to the door.
"I should probably get going. We don't need people getting the wrong idea between us."
"And what would a wrong idea include?"
"Kakashi, you know exactly what I'm taking about."
"Do you want to go grab dinner?" He asks, unfazed.
You start to say no... when your stomach growls. You hadn't eaten since that morning.
"Where were you thinking? I can't be out too late tonight, cause I have to work the morning shift."
"I know a place close to here that has good food."
You nod your head, and you both walk out the door. You felt very conflicted. You knew a part of you liked Kakashi, even in this short time of knowing him. He has been different, more kind, and seemingly more honest. But the other part of you blocked those feelings because 1.) he was your sensei 2.) people always seem so perfect in the beginning, and then in the end you see their true personality. You didn't want to go through that again. Ever since your last relationship, you told yourself that you wouldn't get involved with anyone else. You thought about this while walking to the restaurant in silence with Kakashi.
"I can tell somethings bothering you. If you don't want to go to dinner, You don't have to. I don't want you to feel like I'm forcing you to. Although I'm your sensei, I would never make you do something you didn't want to do. Unless it's training or mission involved, of course."
"It's nothing, I'm just feeling tired. I want to, don't worry."
You both walked into the restaurant, and waited to be seated. You got a booth, and sat across from each other.
"I do want you to know that I care about you, (Y/n). You're very different, which is a good thing. You're tough, but have a kind soul. I understand you don't want to complicate things, because of our professional relationship, but if you ever want to hang out, or talk. You can let me know at any point."
"Thank you Kakashi, I care about you too. You've been someone that I can trust in. I feel like I can be myself around you. Which is nice for a change."
You both smile, and continue to talk. Eventually you both finish eating, and are about to leave.
"I can pay." You say, smiling.
"No I got it, think about it as celebrating you saving Sasuke and Sakura today."
"Thank you."
He pays for the meal, and you decide to leave the tip for the waiter. (You know the struggle of being in the hospitality industry, so you don't mind tipping extra). While you guys were eating, it was raining. You were infatuated with the rain. Something about how the village lights looked when it was dark outside, and raining entranced you.
"Do you want to stay at my place tonight?" You ask. Your face was red from asking, but it was dark enough that you doubt he noticed.
Kakashi looked shock, but said yes.
When you get to your apartment, you take off your jacket and shoes, and instruct Kakashi to do the same.
"So bossy." Kakashi scoffed jokingly.
You look at him surprised, and jokingly went to smack him for saying that, but as you went to hit him, he grabbed your arms and holds them to your sides.
"You'd think that after a while, you'd learn not to mess with your superiors. (Y/n)." He says teasingly.
As you stood there with your hands to your side, you looked up at him. He still had his mask on, but you could tell he had a cocky smile on his face. He starts to let you go, and you knew that was his biggest mistake. You immediately go to kick his legs out from under him, it half works, and he ends up on one knee.
"So who were you saying was superior-" before finishing your sentence he pulls you down as well, and you fall on the floor, on top of him. You both were dying of laughter. After laying on the floor for a good couple minutes laughing, Kakashi stood up and offered you a hand up as well. You both were in a good playful mood. Now sitting on the couch you said
"I had heard about you, even before I was assigned as one of your students. I always heard you were a prodigy, with a stone cold attitude. I never would of thought, based off those rumors, that you'd be in my apartment just messing around with me." You laughed.
"You know, they do say to not trust everything you hear in the village." He smiled.
"You want to put on a movie?" You asked him.
"Sure, we can watch whatever."
"Ok." You felt a little awkward, considering your DVD player was in your bedroom,
"Would you have a problem with watching it in my bedroom?" You asked shyly.
He saw you blush, and laughed.
"This isn't awkward, is it?"
"No, (Y/n) I think it's pretty obvious how we feel about each other, but if you don't want to do this, I can get my things, and head back to my place."
"No, I want you here. I just - I don't want to ruin things. If whatever we are feeling for each other doesn't work out. I don't want to have to regret anything, and I definitely don't want it to ruin my professional career, or relationship with you."
"Nothing could happen that would make me treat you differently than Naruto, Sasuke, or Sakura when regarding lessons. I'm willing to give this a try if you are."
"Ok. Come on, I have a movie set up in my room." You and him go into your bedroom, and lay down watching the movie. You interrupt the movie to say,
"This will be my first relationship in quite a while, if alright with you, I'd like to keep things quiet for a while."
"Yeah, we can do that." He says smiling. He wraps his hand around you, while you both watch the movie. Eventually you both fall asleep.

Authors note (updated): hey everyone! Thanks for reading! As you can probably tell, I have revised and edited the story thus far. I did this because I was getting a lot of feedback saying that the reader and Kakashi got too involved with each other too fast, so to combat this, I rewrote a LOT of the story! Nothing that majorly affects the more recent chapters however. This chapter was *originally* around 2.5k words, and is now 4.5k! So... basically 2 chapters in 1! Hope this version is better, and more people enjoy it! I will be revising the rest of the story, but this chapter I THINK will have the biggest changes of them all!
