Elena was getting in position to hit the target, but Elijah was showing her the small things it was wrong about her posture.

"You should put your feet like this..." Elijah whispered as he positioned her feet in the right way, then he grabbed her hips as he got back on his feet, facing Elena who was focusing on the tree. "You need to be like this..."

"Hmm..." Elena whispered, finding herself oddly enjoying his touch and how close he was.

"Deep breath as you hit the target." Elijah whispered and Elena did what she was told to. "That was really good."

"Thank you." She whispered and looked at him, noticing their faces were inches away from each other.

Elena bite her lower lip, from how nervous she was and how good it felt being so close to him, which Elijah noticed, finding himself glancing at her lips, curious to know how they felt, but he quickly push the thought away and looked again to her eyes.

"We should keep going."

"Y-Yeah..." Elena whispered.

*Meanwhile*

Klaus was now in a human form, near the white wolf.

"I'm going to take you out of that thing." Klaus said as he tried to see what kind of wolf trap was that, making him mumble. "Bloody hunters."

Klaus wasn't able to take the thing without making the wolf be without a leg so he grabbed the trap and with his supernatural strength open it, making the wolf quickly take its paw from the device and Klaus let it close again.

"You're lucky I was around." Klaus smirked and the wolf turned to a human form, making him see it was Caroline.

"Thanks." Caroline whispered, laying down in the ground, completely naked. "Well, can you borrow me your coat or something?"

"S-sure." Klaus whispered, took off his coat and covered her like if it was a blanket.

"Can you...?" Caroline whispered, signaling so he would turn around.

"Y-Yes." Klaus whispered and turned around, finding odd how he seemed unable to make a normal conversation just because it was Caroline naked.

"Thank you." Caroline whispered, making him turn around and see her in his coat, that covered her until her tights.

"You're wound isn't healing." Klaus noticed her wrist.

"It's probably just taking longer." Caroline whispered. "And... when I get my clothes I will give you the coat back."

"You need blood." Klaus whispered, not caring about the coat.

"I'll be fine." Caroline whispered but Klaus bite his wrist and pressed her against the tree with his wrist on her lips.

"Drink."

"So you will throw to my face how you saved me with your blood and how I need to stay loyal to you and be by your side as your little slave for the rest of eternity? No, thanks."

"Stop being so bloody stubborn and drink." Klaus growled.

"Why? This will heal eventually. Why do you even care?" Caroline asked and pushed him away so she would leave.

Klaus followed her, once he grabbed her, he took her to his car and drove back to the plantation in silence. Their silence seemed even louder than their actual fights. Once they got back to the plantation, Klaus took her to his room.

"What the bloody hell were you doing out there?" Klaus asked angry.

"Not that it's any of your business but I was just walking around."

"In a wolf form. What if someone saw you and would start to make questions? You could ruin the plan. And if that wasn't enough. You got yourself stuck in those wolf traps." Klaus said.

"Of course. All you care about is your stupid plan." Caroline whispered in a disproving tone. "I just had to leave here for a few minutes. You were driving me crazy because all you can see is people against you and not people trying to help you."

"All you want is to be free to leave me with the other hybrids. You are just trying to find a way to break the pact without me killing you nor any of your precious friends." Klaus growled.

"All I want is to have free will. We are in the 21st century, Klaus. I and the other hybrids are people who deserve to have free will." Caroline said upset. "I can't do this right now. I need a shower."

Caroline went to her room, grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom. While taking a shower, Caroline realized that her wound was still open and wasn't even near to heal.

"Klaus..." Caroline called him by opening the door so he could listen.

"Ready now?" Klaus asked but stopped talking when saw her wearing nothing but underwear.

"It's not healing." Caroline whispered.

"You need blood." Klaus whispered and bite his wrist, letting her grab his wrist and drink from him. "Drink as much as you want, love."

"Why?" Caroline whispered when stopped drinking from Klaus, making him look at her with a confused look. "Why did you help me right away? Why did you let me drink from you?"

"Because I need you... for my plan." Klaus said even if he felt that he needed her with or without any plan.

"And why did you help me when I was in my wolf form?" Caroline whispered.

"I don't know." Klaus whispered. "You need to drink more. It's not completely healed."

Caroline nodded and bite his neck, while intertwining their fingers together, making it more intimate.

"Love..." Klaus groaned.

"Thank you." Caroline whispered and licked his neck to get the remaining blood. "For everything. The blood, the coat and the compromises you have made."

"Love..." Klaus was about to say but she cut him off.

"I know you think I am the one who's going to rebel against you and turn every hybrid against you. I can't blame you. I did that once... why wouldn't I do it again? But... I'm not. I'm trying to calm them down but our wolf side it's sometimes stronger and you know how it is..." Caroline whispered.

"I know... I will try to find a way to make them stop complaining so much." Klaus whispered and looked at his hands, seeing that neither of them was trying to stop holding hands.

"Sorry..." Caroline whispered, blushing, when noticed she was still holding his hands but he squeezed them so she wouldn't stop.

"I haven't hold hands like this in a long time." Klaus whispered, noticing now how much he has been missing physical contact that was truly meaningful instead of those one night stands that he sometimes have.
