Quincy's POV:

I looked around Enzo's hospital room, spotting Amir who was sleeping on the chair next to his bed. He was holding onto Enzo's right hand with his head placed down on the bed. Xavier wasn't here because he had to get his own room.

We didn't realize how bad in shape he was until he didn't wake up when we got here to the hospital last night. He was breathing ok, but he just wasn't waking up so Rami had to carry him in. Rami and Kian were sleeping in his room right now.

I checked the clock and saw that it was almost seven in the morning. I wasn't able to sleep much last night because I kept getting nightmares from the short time that I was in the warehouse. I wasn't touched anywhere, besides my face because I was hit, but I was fine everywhere else.

It was just scary to me and I felt so alone until I was thrown into the same cell as Rami and Kian. I felt so happy knowing that I wasn't alone, but then it made me confused as to how they were here. They explained how they ended up there, but told me that they didn't know where Levi was.

It was late that same night and we were about to sleep, but then some random men hooded us and cuffed our hands together. They brought us upstairs and that's when we saw Xavier, and we had to watch him...get hurt by those mean guys. I was so sad for him. I wanted nothing more than to get out of there, but I couldn't.

After Xavier ended up biting the guy's thing off, the same men took us back down to our cell and locked us in. I cried for a while, but then ended up falling asleep in Kian's arms. I was way too tired to try to stay up and I'm pretty sure Rami and Kian fell asleep too. I'm not sure how the three of us managed to fit on that small bed, but we managed.

I got up from the couch I was on and moved to Enzo's side, looking at the side of his face. I leaned over a bit and kissed his cheek, making sure not to touch where he was bruised.

I pulled away and walked to the door, opening it. I peeked around the corner of the door and saw a few nurses talking to each other at the front desk. I quietly stepped out of the room and closed the door, walking to Xavier's room which was right across from Enzo's. I slipped inside and shut the door, turning around to face his room.

I spotted Rami and Kian on the long couch in the corner, and noticed that Rami was still asleep, but Kian was awake. He smiled softly when he saw me and I walked over to him, letting him pull me on his lap.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked me quietly and I shook my head.

"I couldn't sleep because every time I would fall asleep for a bit, I'd get a nightmare when we were in the cell. I'd wake up so scared and..." I felt a lump form at the back of my throat, "and I just want to go back home, Kian."

I hugged his shoulders and whined quietly, feeling his hand rub my back slowly. "We'll be back home soon, Quincy. Xavier and Enzo will get better slowly, but they'll be ok."

I nodded and laid my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes as I nosed his neck. "I'm so tired, but I wanna be awake...when Xavier and Enzo wake up."

"You didn't sleep last night, though. Just sleep and I'll wake you up whenever Xavier or Enzo wake up, ok?"

"Mhm..."

I fell asleep soon after and slept a dreamless sleep. I felt safe with Kian, so I knew that nothing bad would happen to me.

__________

"Quincy..." Hands gently rubbed my head which made me relax more. "Wake up..."

I hummed and slowly opened my eyes, sitting up as I rubbed my eyes and looked around. "Where are we going?"

Rami, Kian, and I were sitting in a car in the backseat. I looked back and saw Eddie driving, the smaller guy from yesterday sitting in the passenger seat.

Eddie glanced at me from the rear-view mirror, "I'm taking you guys to a hotel so that you can all freshen up. After you're done in the hotel, we'll go back to the hospital and see if we can transfer Xavier and Enzo over to a hospital back at home."

I nodded and moved off of Rami's lap, sitting between him and Kian. I looked at the guy sitting in the passenger seat and saw that he was looking out of the window, seeming to not be paying attention to what he was doing to himself. His nails were digging into his arms so I leaned over and tapped on his shoulder.

"Are you ok?" The guy jumped, then looked back at me.

"Oh...um, yeah, I'm fine..." He quickly faced forward and went back to looking out the window.

I furrowed my brows, but sat back and looked up at Rami. "Have Xavier or Enzo woken up?"

"No, not yet. The doctor said that it's most likely because their bodies are exhausted. Enzo wasn't able to eat or drink anything the past few days, so his body is weaker. We're not sure about Xavier, though. Because he wasn't able to take his medicine for almost a full month, he'll eat less or will stop eating. You know how he gets." He explained and I nodded, resting my head on Kian's shoulder.

"I hope they wake up soon..."

"We do too, Quincy." Kian said above me and squeezed my hand.

We finally got to the hotel and hopped out of the car once Eddie parked. He unlocked the trunk and pulled two backpacks out, handing one of them to Rami and the other to the guy that I still didn't know what his name was.

"I bought you guys some clothes and bathroom necessities, and put them in the bags." He closed the trunk as we thanked him and followed him into the hotel.

Eddie booked two rooms and gave us the keycards, telling us to head up to the rooms and meet him in the lobby once we were done.

We went to the elevator and the other guy got off on the fifth floor. Rami, Kian, and I got off on the eighth floor and went to our room, unlocking it with the keycard and stepping in.

The first thing I saw was the bed, then the bathroom which was to my right. Kian closed the door and dropped the backpack on the bed, zipping it open and pulling the stuff out.

"Do you wanna shower first?" Rami asked me as he moved next to Kian and started searching through the stuff.

"Sure."

Kian handed me a smaller bag that contained the stuff that I needed for the bathroom and took them to the small room, placing them on the counter. I walked to the closet and found some towels, taking three out and placing the other two on the toilet.

Closing the door, I turned the shower on and opened the small bag. I pulled out a travel-size bottle of shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and a few other things for after the shower.

I undressed and hopped in, sighing happily when I felt the warm water run down my head and body. I stood there for a few minutes before deciding to finally wash up. I finished washing myself off and turned the water off, grabbing the fluffy, white towel and drying my hair the best I could.

Drying the rest of my body off, I wrapped the towel around my hips, which fit me like a really big skirt, then brushed my teeth. I combed my hair and looked in the mirror, and realized that my straight, black hair was getting a bit too long for my liking.

It almost reached my shoulders which I really didn't like since it made me look girly. I already sort of looked like a girl with the way I looked. I had a really slim body and I practically had no muscle anywhere. My lips looked the most like a girl's because they were light pink and plump but not too much. I had a soft jawline with chubby cheeks which also made me look like a kid. My height didn't help with that at all. I guess I just didn't look like how I wanted to look.

Xavier, Levi, Enzo, and Kai always tell me that they liked how small and how fragile looking I was, and I really liked hearing that, but sometimes I couldn't help but feel a bit self-conscious. I'm pretty sure everyone would sometimes feel the same, but I don't know. Sometimes I feel like they'll just leave me one day, but I know they wouldn't. At least I hope they don't.

My face was a bit bruised on the right side and my bottom lip had a small cut. I could see that I had some dark circles under my eyes, but I just looked away and grabbed my dirty clothes.

I wrapped them in the shirt and walked out of the bathroom, Rami and Kian looking my way and getting off the bed. They grabbed their stuff and went to the bathroom while I began searching for my own clothes.

I guess they had already figured out their clothes, since mine was separate from theirs. I grabbed a pair of briefs from the new pack and slid those on, feeling that they were a little loose, but I didn't mind. I grabbed the pair of grey sweats and pulled them on, throwing the plain black shirt on. It was a bit big, but I liked how the outfit looked once I put my white sneakers on.

I sat on the bed and waited for Rami and Kian to finish showering, and decided to call my mom. I called her last night and she asked me, freaking out about where I was. I obviously couldn't lie to her about this, so I had to tell her the truth and told her that I was in New Mexico because I had been kidnapped after the car crash that had occurred.

She went crazy over the fact that I didn't call the police, but I told her that I was safe and that something happened to Xavier and Enzo. I didn't tell her all the details, but told her that they were here with me in New Mexico and we were in the hospital.

The story didn't make sense because I didn't tell her that I was kidnapped by Xavier and Enzo's rival gang, or that they were even in a gang to begin with, so she kept asking questions and was getting mad at me. I was too tired to argue so I just hung and ended up going back to Enzo's room.

I wasn't even able to ask her about dad yet because she was asking me questions, so when I called her using the hotel room phone, and she picked up, I immediately asked her how he was and if he was ok.

"His left wrist broke from the impact of the car crash, but other than that, he's doing fine. The hospital released him last night so we came home and he went straight to bed."

"That's good..." I let out the breath that I had been holding, and made myself more comfortable on the bed.

"Quincy, why aren't you home yet? Why are you still over there, huh? I feel like you're not telling me something and I'm probably worrying about it for no reason because I know that you tell me everything." I didn't say anything and I heard movement on the other side of the phone, "You're hiding something from me, aren't you?"

"I'm sorry, Mom, but I can't tell you why this happened and-"

"You know why you were kidnapped?! What?! You better tell me right now, Quincy! I'm going to call the police so they can pick you up and bring you home, right now!"

"Mom, don't—!"

The line went dead so I put the phone down. I pulled at my hair and groaned, getting up and pacing the room. I waited until Rami and Kian finished showering and once they stepped out of the bathroom, I told them what happened over the phone.

"She said she was going to call the police so they can come pick me up and I don't know what to do! I don't want to leave you guys because we don't even know if the hospital can transfer Xavier and Enzo to a hospital back at home. I didn't tell her why I was kidnapped, but she knows that there's a reason." I groaned and flopped onto the bed, "I don't want to leave!"

I sat up and saw that Rami and Kian were putting on their clothes, then Kian looked at me. "We'll tell Eddie and see what he thinks, because I'm not even sure what to say about that."

I nodded and we packed our stuff, leaving the room and going down to the lobby. We found Eddie and Reece sitting on the gray couches and Eddie looked up.

"Eddie," I blushed and clasped my hands together, "I called my mom and told her that I was ok and..."

I told him the same thing I told the twins and he just nodded. "Well, I know you don't want to leave, but if your mom already called the police, I can't really do much about that. Our 'team' doesn't really get along with the police, so we make sure to stay out of each other's way. Have you tried calling your mom again and asking her not to?"

"No, she hung up on me when I told her not to..."

He got up from the couch, looking down at me. "You can call her again once we get to the car."

I nodded and we left the hotel once we gave back the keycards. We went out to the car and put the bags in the trunk. Eddie gave me his phone and the others went in the car so I called my mom, waiting for her to pick up.

"Quincy?"

"Mom, have you called—?"

"Yes, I need you to tell me where you are. They'll contact some authorities over there and they'll bring you-"

"I'm not going to tell you because I don't want to go home yet!" I cut her off and continued on, "I'm not going to leave Xavier and Enzo here, ok?"

"Quincy, you're a minor and I need to know that you are ok once I see you here at home. I'm not asking you to tell me where-"

"Xavier and Enzo almost died, alright?!" I sighed and rubbed my head, "They almost died and I don't want to leave their side, ok? Levi was kidnapped too, along with two of my friends, but we're fine now and we're safe. Levi is back home and he's safe at the house. I'm safe here, I'm not alone, Mom."

It was silent before she started all up again. "Ever since you started dating that Xavier boy, it seems like a lot of accidents have been happening. He almost died last year, then he ran away, and came back and was fine, then you were kidnapped with whoever else, and you're saying that Xavier almost died again along with Enzo?"

"What do you want me to say? Things happen and that's life. We can't control these things that happen, they just-"

"So Xavier couldn't control himself from running away?"

I clenched my jaw, "Something happened to him and he needed a break for a while-"

She cut me off again for the umpteenth time, "So he broke up with you, then got back with you and your supposed lovers? He has eight other boyfriends, Quincy, do you not realize that he's cheating on you? You shouldn't even be in a group relationship, it's wrong. First, it was that you liked boys, then you told me and your dad that you were in a group relationship with four other people, and Xavier had five other lovers, and now something happened to you. That's too much, Quincy, I never expected this out of you, but it's already too late. They've made you fall in love with them and now you think that you love them, but you don't."

She sighed through the phone while I just stood there dumbfounded. "Anyway, tell me where you are so I can give your location to the police."

"I'm at..." I told her where I was and she sounded relieved.

"Thank you, Quincy. I don't want you to be with those boys anymore so once this is all over, I want you to break up with them, ok? They're not good for you and they never will be. You've had problems taking care of yourself so do you think you'll be able to care for them when they have their own issues?"

I nodded and looked down at my left hand. "Yeah, I know, Mom."

"You're doing the right thing for yourself, Quincy."

"Yeah..."

"Ok, I'll tell the police where you are. Stay there and don't move from the hotel. I'll see you when you get home, ok? I love you."

"Yup." I ended the call and walked to Eddie's windows.

He rolled his window down and took his phone when I handed it to him. "So you're going back home?"

"You heard?" He nodded and I shook my head, "She told me that it's wrong that I'm in a relationship with four guys and that I shouldn't be in a relationship in the first place because I can't even handle myself. I'm not going back home to her, I'm going back to talk, and if she says one more thing about them, then I'll have no problem leaving my parents' house."

Eddie nodded again, "Well, now that you said you're going back home, Amir called me earlier while you and the others were up in the rooms. He said that the hospital would be transferring Xavier and Enzo to a hospital back at home, tonight. I already told Rami, Kian, and Reece that I was going to take you guys to the airport and send you back home."

"What about you?" I asked.

"Amir and the rest of us have to finish up some things here. We'll probably go back home in a few days, but I'm not sure." I nodded and looked around the parking lot. Eddie cleared his throat, "You can come inside the car until someone comes picks you up. We'll wait with you."

"No, it's ok. You can go ahead and take them to the airport. I'll go inside the hotel and think about what I'm gonna say to my mom until the police show up or something."

"Are you sure?" Eddie asked me but I reassured him that I would be fine waiting alone.

The back window rolled down so I looked at Rami as he peeked his head out. "I guess we'll see you back at home, then?"

"Yeah, also, tell Levi that I'm ok and I'll be home once I finish talking to my mom."

Rami nodded and Kian peeked over him. "I'll give him a kiss if you want?"

We both chuckled, then I nodded. "Give him a long hug too, please?"

"Of course, Quincy." He smiled, so I returned it.

I told Eddie a few more things, then he drove away once I was inside the hotel. I sat down in the lobby on one of the couches and looked around, not really paying much attention to what was happening since I started thinking about what I was going to say to my mom.

If she was going to use my insecurities against me to convince me to break up with my lovers, I would tell her that since she's my mom, she should support her child's decisions instead of trying to get in the way. I wasn't going to let her make decisions for me. I didn't want her to control me like she always has.

The only reason she let me "move" in with Xavier and the others, was because my dad convinced her to. My dad told her that he knew that I was responsible enough to take care of myself, and I am, but my mom thought otherwise because of how I sometimes get.

She always wanted me to be the perfect child, while my dad didn't care. He'd always tell me that I was a good kid and that I should follow my own goals, instead of following my mom's dreams of having the perfect son.

It just made me upset because the only thing she had to do for me, was to just support me. Instead, she always wanted to take control of me, but I'm not going to let her anymore. I wasn't going to be pushed around by her anymore. I was going to make my own decisions and if she couldn't accept that, then I would have no problem losing her as my mom.

"Excuse me," I looked up at the man that wore a black uniform. "Are you Quincy Julius?"

"Oh...yeah." I got up and he nodded.

"Right, well the police department has been informed that you were kidnapped and you called your mother, but you didn't want to call the police?"

I inwardly rolled my eyes, "Sorry, I'm a minor. I can't speak without my guardian around, so if you could just take me to the airport and put me on a plain back home, that would be greatly appreciated."

"Ok, just follow me out to my car and we'll have to stop by the police department, then we'll be on our way to send you home."
