Without further ado, here are the winners for Action/Adventure:

1st Places (a tie!):

"The Gazelle" by KaraCarreira

Score: 95/100

Review: It was a great read! The cover is creative and nice. And the title is quite relevant as the plot or the problem is all because of a gazelle! The author has perfect writing skills. The story was very engaging and lively. The descriptions enhanced the story, even more, bringing the scenes alive to the readers. There was no flaw in the use of language and grammar. The plot had a very nice flow and good characterisation of the characters. In terms of originality and creativity, the author does mention that it's a Rapunzel retelling, but it has its own unique and creative twist and scenario. The story gets more intriguing and interesting by each chapter. Will definitely read till the end!

"The Blood of The Covenant" by AMarsonCambridge

Score: 95/100

Review: The title itself is very good and the cover seems to match the plot. The blurb is very well constructed and has an intriguing effect. And the author's writing style is perfect. The author possesses good diction. In terms of grammar and use of language, both are very good, no errors spotted. There is good world-building, though I wonder how this hero vs villain concept somehow forms the basis of this type of world. And I like the switch of perspectives between the two main characters, showing how both are living their lives while being separated. It enhances the mystery of their background; how they ended up like this. Good job!

2nd Place:

"Running from the Destiny" by Darkness181104

Score: 92.5/100

Review: It's an amazing story! While it's not the most creative thing in the world, I do think that the idea is so beautiful! There wasn't a theme, but it's the perfect book to cozy up with in my blanket at night. I'm not sure what more to say about this story, other than that every aspect of this story was flat-out incredible.

3rd Places (another tie):

"Purple Blood" by Ririflower

Score: 92/100

Review: A wonderful story that I could get hooked on for a week if there were more chapters! Riri is definitely a skilled writer. Her characters and exposition are delivered skillfully. None of the criteria had low levels, but some of them were completely perfect. Some were because Ludade, Rida and others were well written but somewhat flat in a few areas. Things like this.

"A Jewel's Worth" by JosefinaFAAD

Score: 92/100

Review: This story almost had FULL SCORES. That's how incredible this was. The only things that weren't given a perfect score were her book cover, which didn't fit the story or title, and the originality/creativity, because I knew I'd heard of a story similar to it before. Those are the only things I would suggest changing slightly, but other than that, PERFECTION!

Runners-up:

4. "Poisoned Waters" by gldnsuns

Score: 91/100

Review: The cover didn't really catch my eyes honestly, though I love the title which is interesting. The blurb is intriguing enough. And the opening chapter was probably the best one I've ever read. It was so full of action, tension and excitement. The author has great writing skills, though I spotted a few grammatical and punctuation errors. The plot develops well and I hope to get to know more about the relationship between Monet and Westley, and why she is on the pursuit to kill him, something that I couldn't suspect on their first meeting in the story. It was a nice read, and I will definitely continue reading till the end!

5. "Song of Deception" by e-z-22

Score: 90/100

Review: Very nice blurb and fitting title! The cover is not that eye-catching but still looks good. The start of the story was a bit confusing until the main concept was revealed, which is a very cool one by the way. Everything that happened or what the characters were talking about were kind of blurry. It would be good to drop some clues about the plot now and then to keep the readers engaged. There were some grammatical and punctuation errors, in terms of use of language. But the following chapters were better and got me intrigued by the plot. Great work, this book has captured my interest. Will definitely continue reading it!

6. "Mr Secret What" by zabee15_02

Score: 89/100

Review: The story is very interesting and full of action. I like the plot, it gets more intriguing through each chapter. The author had good writing skills, though some parts of the prologue looked a bit awkward to me. I feel the perspective of Rick Titus is not portrayed well or the factor of the show, not tell was a bit lacking. On the other side, I love April's character. Definitely likeable! Though from the blurb, it says she is following her passion of saving lives as a doctor, which is not really mentioned or seen in the first few chapters of encountering her. In terms of use of language, a few errors were spotted in terms of verb tense changes, lack of capitalisation, grammar and punctuation, which could be corrected with some editing. But overall, a nice story!

6. "Valeria Torres and the Midas Vault" by Rogue705

Score: 89/100

Review: It was a nice read. To start with, I'd advise to edit the blurb, which seems to reveal a bit too much and looks like a summary. Try to make it more intriguing as a blurb is supposed to entice, not summarise. And the title is good, though a bit long and not that eye-catching. But otherwise, there was a good introduction to the elements and details of the story, with interesting worldbuilding. The author has a very good writing style. In terms of language, no major errors spotted except a few missing commas or use of double spacing. And there is a good characterisation of all the characters. The plot seems to develop well with enough intriguing points and have a good flow. Nice job on the story!

7. "Bonnie & Claudia" by HiddenTruths20

Score: 86/100

Review: Great story and I absolutely love it! The only thing I'd change about it is that Bonnie and Claudia are actually a little generic. A woman who loves adventure, living on the edge, mystery, and crime; plus another woman who's down-to-earth, settled, mannerly, and trying to fit in. These are both character cliches that should be avoided, but I do love the dynamic between them, that's for sure.
