A couple of weeks passed, Leah stood over two gravestones.... one was for her late grandfather, Hamato Yoshi and the other was for her Mother, Novo Couture.

"Lele, what are you doing?"

Leah gasped as she turned around and saw Remus, "Nothing just... Showing my respects"

"Oh, to your mom?"

"Yeah, come here" Remus walked over to Leah, the two of them stared at the gravestones.

"Your mom and.. grandfather, right?"

"Remus, I know it's a struggle but he's your dad"

".. dad means a male parental figure that was around, you have that and I have a sperm donor"

"So, would that make my mother a surrogate?" Leah stared at him, waiting for an answer.

"Lele, I meant to say that's how I saw it, that should not correlate with how you see her"

"Oh, you're right! How could I not know what it's like to have an absent parent? How could I not grow up asking my dad what happened to mama? Just like my mother, your father made his choices, when he fell in love with your mother... I guarantee he would've loved you too"

".. I guess you're right"

"Always am, Mus-!" Leah gasped and she moved Remus out of the way as a deer came running towards them.

"Ack! What is it?"

"A buck, deer, doe? Whatever!"

"Oh geez"

The buck then jumped on top of Leah and started beating her with his hooves.

"Hey, get off her!" Remus shouted and tried to get the buck away from her when it kicked its hind legs out at him and into a tree.

"Remus!"

"I'm fine!"

The buck then ran away the minute it saw Leah in her komodo dragon form.

"Lele?"

"Musss!" Leah turned back to normal, limping as she waddled over to him, "You okay?"

"Yeah, are you?"

"I'm fi... Ow!!" Leah held onto her leg, Remus shook his head then picked her up.

Back at the farmhouse

"Alright idiots, if you clobber gems you can break logs!" Ray shouted, as she, Sera, Aubrey, and Light held cut tree logs.

"Just hold it still Ray"

"Remember, it is not just the strength you have to break the log, it is also inner strength"

"Alright, then like this!"

Nymph kicked the log in half, pushing Ray backwards.

"Damn!"

"Nice one Nymph!"

"Ooh!! I'm getting better!" Nymph clapped her hands excitedly.

"Probably because you have a good teacher!"

"Yeah, Remus must have given you a great lesson," Lena grinned evilly.

"What's with the grin, Lena?"

"No reason-!" Lena got cut off as Haley smacked her in the back of the head. "Ow, hey!"

"Be nice... Leah!" Haley saw Leah being carried by Remus out of the woods.

"Lele, what happened to you?"

"I... I had a realization in the woods" Leah groaned as Remus sat her down on the porch.

"Going off with a bum leg was a terrible idea?"

"No! It's what I need, what we all need, we're so caught up on TV and junk food... We lost touch in our mutant half"

"Hey, leave the tv outta this!"

"Our own parents did it, the main lesson they learned is you have to become bonded with nature to become bonded with yourself"

"So, how about we go camping for a few days?"

"Camping? We're gonna live like animals!!" Sera screamed as she ran around, this idea gave Light a good idea.

"No it won't, it'll be fun!"

"I have to agree with Blue Jay, I'm tired of staying at this farmhouse"

"Can we come too?"

"No, this trip is ninja and kuncohis only" Leah waddled into the farmhouse with her team following her, plus Light.

"Aww come on!"

Aubrey was packing her essentials when she spotted Tony getting water splashed on him by Lena and Denny.

"Gotcha!"

"Oh my, you got me young Prince"

Aubrey groaned, "I'm all for getting in tune with nature but..." She growled as she packed her stuff.

"Those two will be getting in tune with each other!"

"You have to leave your fears and worries behind, Aubrey"

"I know, I know"

Remus was in his room with Nightshade and Casey, packing his stuff.

"You seem excited to go camping"

"I am, I've never been!"

"Ooh, do you wish Nymph was going with y'all?"

"A little but she has to stay safe"

"Aww, someone's gonna miss their girlfriend~!"

"Oh hush, last time I checked both of you couldn't keep one"

"Uh! Who told you that!"

"The singleness told me" Remus grinned, walking downstairs to the living room.

"Mussy?"

"Yeah Sera?"

"I can't find my slippers!! Did you take them!"

"No, Sera, we're going into the woods! You don't need slippers!"

"Yes I do! Also, Nymphy's looking for you!"

"Okay, I'm going!!"

Ray was sharpening her sai's when she saw Haley staring at her at the doorway.

"What is it ma?"

"You just look so much like your pop's, kiddo"

".. did pops go on the same camping trip?"

"Yeah, I had to stay but he struggled the first 2 days"

"Really? Why'd he struggle?"

"He loved the city, it was his world well... Until someone else showed up to give him a new reason" Haley smiled and ruffled her hair.

"Sap"

"Oh hush"

"Sera said you were looking for me?"

"Yeah, come here"

"I'm coming, what is it?" Remus chuckled and walked over to her.

Nymph grabbed him by the shoulders and flipped him on his back.

"Ack! Nice try!"

"Maybe you need to teach me better~" Nymph grinned, teasing him.

"Oh really? You mean like this?"

Remus picked her up and body slammed her onto the ground, landing on top of her.

"Damn it! You win"

"Damn straight" The two leaned close together and kissed each other.

"Bunty, I'll be fine"

"Are you sure? The sun will be rising earlier than expected-!"

"I'll be okay!"

"O-Okay"

"Have fun"

"I'll try..."

The first Day:

"Meditation?"

"It's a way to spiritually connect with our inner peace"

"So I'm gonna be bored, great"

"Honestly, try Ray"

"Fine, but I won't like it"

"You never like anything"

"Except beating people up"

Leah shook her head as the team began meditating on top of separate trees.

Later:

Sera was trying to use her powers to look for some non-poisonous fruits and nuts. She quickly found acorns but stumbled upon some squirrels.

"Oh, hello!!" Sera said, trying to make peace with the squirrels.

That ended with her holding some acorns and berries while getting chased by the squirrels.

"HELP!!!!" She shouted as she ran past Light.

"Sera, what did you-!"

"Just get them away from me!!"

"Ugh, fine"

Ray was in a cave with Aubrey, trying to start a fire on command.

"Why don't you just try using a stick and a log?"

"Why would I use that when I have fire powers, Aubrey?"

"Because it looks like your struggling"

"And I suppose you could make a better one?!"

"Maybe"

"Then you try it, Miss Nerd!"

"Gladly"

Aubrey then started rubbing a stick and a log together creating smoke. After a few moments, it created a small flame, then she blew on it a little and the log caught on fire.

"See"

"F**k you!" Ray flipped her off and she leaned back against the wall.

"Lele, are you coming!"

"Give me a minute!"

"Alright, alright"

Leah tried walking without her crutch, as Remus was in the river collecting water.

"How can you tell the water's clean?"

"Usually we don't dip our feet in it"

"Ha ha"

Leah touched the water and for a split second she saw her mother then came back to reality.

"You good?"

"Yeah... Just had a weird sense of Deja vu"

"Mmm"

"How are you feeling?"

"Okay"

"I'm serious, are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah.. I'm fine"

"Okay, you ready?"

"Mmm hmm"

The second Day:

The team continued with their early morning meditation and started practicing balance.

Leah was standing on a thin tree trunk, trying to balance but not only was her leg causing her pain but she kept getting flashbacks of Metal.

"No.. I won't listen to you"

"Keep running, little half-breed~ I will always catch you!" Leah heard as she felt someone's hand on her shoulder.

"Lele, come on"

Leah gasped in shock as she opened her eyes and saw Sera waiting for her.

"Come on! We're going hiking!"

"Hiking?"

"Mmm hmm!"

"Okay, sounds fun... Ow!" Leah groaned as she held her leg.

"Come on, I'll help you!"

"No!" Leah shouted, making Sera flinch, "I mean... No thank you.. I'm just gonna stay at the camp"

"You sure?"

"Yeah... I'm sure..."

"If you say so!"

Leah sat down by the cave, she closed her eyes and she saw clips of Metal attacking her, she touched her wounds as she flinched.

A few hours later

"We're back!!"

"Great! Now we can get back to training!"

"More training! I'm gonna die!!"

"Okay! Just one more meditation on the trees"

"Finne"

The team climbed onto the tree and began meditating until it became dark.

"Food time!"

Everyone laughed as Sera was trying to heat up berries, using the fire and a stick.

3 days went by as the team began to get more in touch with nature, it was the day before the last and each of them were at their separate half of the forest, meditating.

"Ugh, when will this be over!" Ray kicked the ground, she was getting annoyed and when she got annoyed, she got angry.

Ray started setting trees on fire when she felt someone's hand on her shoulder, she then turned around and saw Raph being created by her flames.

"Hi Ray"

"P... Pop's? How are you?" Ray felt stupid for asking but what else was she gonna say.

"I'm okay, how are you? The others? .. your mom?"

"They're good but how are you doing this?"

"Before your grandfather passed, he taught us how to get in contact with our spiritual selves, and your gonna do the same thing"

"No, I'm not doing this boring sh**-!"

"I thought it was boring too, but your temper.. it's like your fire powers, you can control your powers, you need to control your anger"

"Control it?!"

"Yes, control it"

"It's fire dad! You can't control it, if you try it bursts into flames!"

"You can control your fire, listen, I had my anger issues too, only without fire powers, if me and your mother can control it, it won't hurt you to try"

"But... I can't"

"Ray, your flame and temper are united... You must learn to control it, be swift like a fox but slow like a turtle"

Meanwhile with Light

Light was hiding in the bus, in her hybrid form hunting squirrels and other forest creatures.

"This isss fun!"

Light grinned as she tackled a rabbit, she pinned it to the ground until she heard the hissing from another snake.

"I sssee someone's enjoying theirselvess"

Light gasped as she turned around and saw Karai, in her spiritual form, staring at her which caused her to immediately turn back to normal.

"M-mother?"

"Daughter, hunting some rabbits?"

".. maybe, where are you?"

"I'm in a place that could've been your home... Light, when was the last time you slept?"

"I slept for two hours and I'm fin-!"

"Two hours?! Oh dear god, Light no wonder you're out here hunting rabbits!"

"What's that supposed to mean!"

"Light, being the heir to the foot clan means taking care of yourself and others, you rely to much on yourself and not on your friends"

"How am I supposed to fix that?"

"First of all, get some sleep!!"

"Then what?! I pretend like everything is fine while our family is in danger-!"

"Light, do you see how a group of snakes join forces to attack? That's what you must do, you can't be a leader if you don't rely on your team, be recruitful like a snake"

Meanwhile with Aubrey

Aubrey was walking through the forest, "I really wish I had a GPS signal here, it would've been easier to find the camp!" She grumbled, scrolling through her phone.

"And I was just like you"

"Dah!!" Aubrey screamed as she fell backwards, that is when she saw Donnie in his spiritual form much like Karai, "Papa?"

"Hi sweetie, how are you?"

"Shocked... Terrified and confused! How is this possible?"

"Because your grandfather taught us how to get in contact with our spiritual selves"

"But, science! This isn't science, Science has facts and facts don't lie!"

"Sometimes, you shouldn't listen to science"

"But, what else am I supposed to do?! My life is built around i-!"

"Aubrey, you're relying too much on your mind, not your body.. Be strong"

"But... I can't, I'm not strong like Ray, Swift like Leah, Fierce like Remus, and energetic like Sera... I'm... Lame"

"Your so much more than just lame, Aubrey"

"How can I be the alchemist that you so proudly want me to be...?"

"By just being yourself"

Meanwhile with Sera

Sera was trying to take some nuts from a squirrel then she immediately got distracted by a bat flying.

"Ryland~" Sera smiled goofenly which caused her branch to snap, making her fall onto the floor.

"Sera!"

"Huh?" Sera looked up and she saw Mikey being created by leaves, staring at her.

"Trying to flip off a tree, hmm?"

"Ehh, yeah! Trying to do a backflip" Sera smiled nervously, hoping he cannot tell that she's lying.

"You were trying to take something from a squirrel, weren't you"

"Okay, yeah!" Sera stood up, taking the branches out of her hair.

"Sera, maybe you should try something else"

"Nah, I like climbing trees! It's... Peaceful" Sera smiled as she thought of Ryland, this caused Mikey to have a realization.

"Your too distracted"

"Am not! I'm super focused!"

"Sera"

"What?"

"Your mind is overrun with too many distractions"

Sera looked up at Mikey, as he put both of hands on her shoulders.

"You need to learn how to be strong and calm, like this forest"

"I will, Pop-Sicle"

Meanwhile with Remus

Remus was standing by a cliff, he started flapping his wings trying to fly.

"Why must this be so difficult"

Remus groaned, then continued flapping his wings to the point he didn't realize that he lost one of his feathers.

"Hmm?"

"Well, look at this" Remus froze as he turned around and saw a spiritual form of Zoey, that had his feather as her heart.

".. mom? How are you here.. you went missing 4 almost 5 months ago"

"Well, let's just say your dad taught me a few tricks"

".. of course he did"

"Mus, your trying so hard to be just like him but I need you to realize something"

"What?"

"You don't have to be him or me, you can be Remus and I'm pretty sure that's what your friends want"

"That's not.. know what, never mind"

"If it's not what's bothering you, talk to me now"

"Why can't you tell me more about him?"

"Well, what do you wanna know?"

"Honestly.. Anything"

"Well, he was compassionate but serious, at first you would think he can't be fun but he had a bit of fun, spunky, sarcastic side to him"

"Really?"

"Of course, your dad had an artistic side of him"

"Artistic, how?"

"He loved to draw and paint, when he was a kid he wanted to be an artist"

"Wow"

"Mus, when you return remember that I'm always here with you"

Meanwhile with Leah

Leah was the only one at the campsite, she stared at the fire.

"I'm never gonna get better"

Leah closed her eyes again, she slowly was drifting further into her insecurities when she felt the fire start to grow wild.

"What the?!"

Leah opened her eyes and saw the fire create the spiritual form of Leo.

"Father?"

"Hello, my daughter" Leo smiled and stared at her, then at her knee. "I see you got the same injury as me"

"Yeah... Only worse"

"How much worse?"

"I can't do anything for more than 5 minutes or it starts to ache"

"That's how my injury was but.. we can only choose what holds us back and what moves us forward"

"But, I can't... Everytime I try to push myself, I will always go back here! I'm not the Leah who jumped through hoops, to rooftops, and then landed on my feet expecting to be okay!"

"Leah.. listen, you will heal, but time isn't a thing we have on our side"

"I know! But if you had that power, you would be here and so would mother! I can't be the leader if I'm stuck here!"

"Yes you can! Leah, listen.. you must be the leader in body and spirit, be like the wind.. let nothing hold you down or stop you"

Back at the farmhouse

Coral was standing in the front of the farmhouse, practicing with her spear.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm training, clears my mind"

"Oh, want me to join you?"

"Tony, I cannot ask you do to that"

"But I'm asking you if I could"

"Alright, I need to you to focus"

"Okay, on what?"

"On fighting, you must stay focus to protect yourself and the ones you love"

"Okay"

Tony and Coral began fighting head to head, earning the attention from everyone else.

"What are they doing?"

"Looks like a fight!" Lena shouted, running on the balcony.

"Lena, be careful with your brother!"

"I am!"

Coral grabbed Tony's spear, "You keep hesitating. Stop it, your strong"

"I'm not!"

"Yes, you are! Before striking you have a fear, I know because I got over it"

"How"

"I trained harder, faster, I became better than any male. Smarter than anything scientist"

"Ooh, this is getting tense"

"So, fight me, Vampire. Show no mercy"

"Gladly."

"Should we stop this?"

"I don't know, but I can't look away"

Coral and Tony continued fighting and Coral was about to win when she felt her gem flare up.

That's when Tony pinned her to the ground and her spear was tossed away from her.

"Got yo-!"

Coral froze, as she felt Leonardo send her a message through her gem.

"Coral?"

"He's alive.. He's alive!!"

"Who?!"

"Leonardo, the others! I can feel them!"

"That's perfect!"

The Next Morning

The team woke up and saw Leah already awake.

"Whoa... Last night was deep" Sera said, as she rubbed her eyes.

"Our parents made our quest clear, it's time we begin the real training."

The teenagers looked at each other then nodded.

"Much like our parents, each of us must forage for new armor and weapons then journey out alone, where we will be challenged in the spirit realm."

Each member of the team, created new weapons, and armor.

One wardrobe change later

"We look so good, dudes!!" Sera cheered as she jumped around.

"Focus Sera! Remember what Princess just said! The things we'll face in the spirit realm will be just as bad as Metal!"

"Okay, sorry!" Sera stood still as Leah walked into the center of the group.

".. It's time, good luck"

The group bowed their heads, "Karera o hokori ni omou" All of them said, together. (Translation: Make them proud.)

They all went their separate directions to face whatever came to them in the spirit realm.

Light:

Light slithered on the ground in her snake form, she spotted some creatures hiding in the bushes.

"Ooh, dinner already-!"

Light heard something run behind her, she turned around and there was nothing then she heard something run behind her again.

"Come out!" She heard rustling from the bushes, she quickly turned back to normal and pulled out her tanto, "Come on out! I know you're there!"

A footbot poked its head out of the bushes and slowly pulled out it's weapon.

"A foot bot, looks like it's my lucky day"

The footbot lunged at Light, it began attacking her, she easily took it down then more appeared and began attacking.

"Oh not cool stupid androids!"

Ray:

Ray was swimming in water when she poked her head up to reveal she was in a cave.

"So much for finding something interesting. What a waste."

She climbed out of the water, shaking off to get dry and that's when she noticed the torches that were lighting up the cave.

"Who's crazy enough to be leaving all these torches lit?"

A group of footbots stepped into the light, revealing that they were the ones holding the torches.

"Ah sh**!"

Ray pulled out her claws and began attacking them.

Aubrey:

Aubrey was climbing up a mountain, holding onto the wall for dear life.

"O-Oh dear, I really wished I had paid more attention to Uncle Nightshade's flying lessons"

Then she felt the mountain shaking.

"What the?!" Aubrey looked up and spotted footbots, slamming huge mallets into the mountain. "You're gonna bring the whole mountain down!!"

Aubrey then realized, "Or... You don't care what happens because you are apparitions from the spirit realm!"

The footbots continued slamming giant mallets into the mountain, making a giant chunk fall and almost hit her.

"Oh.. I hate being right"

Aubrey pulled out her boa staff that had an axe at the top and began attacking the group of footbots.

Remus:

Remus was climbing some trees, near the lake. Trying to get a good view of the forest.

"I hate not being able to fly"

Remus froze when he heard saws cutting the tree he was on.

"Yay, just my luck" He looked down and saw Footbots cutting down his tree, trying to make him fall.

"Oh, so that's how you wanna play~?" Remus grinned as he started throwing his feather shaped knives, stabbing the footbots.

"Huh, I thought this was supposed to be a challenge"

That is when he noticed flying footbots, heading straight for him.

"Oh never mind"

Serafina:

Much like Remus, Sera was jumping through the trees and looking around.

"Ugh, this spiritual stuff is a lot more boring than I thought!"

"Maybe I can make it more interesting!"

"Huh?" Sera turned around and saw Ryland staring at her, which made her lose her cool.

"Hey!"

"Hey Sera" Ryland rubbed her cheek and smiled which distracted her to the point that she didn't notice the foot bots creeping up behind her.

"W-what are you doing?"

"Showing you how much I love you, Sera" He leaned in to kiss her.

"Y-you love m.. hey! I need to focus! Pop-sical said be strong.. and calm like forest"

"Well, your dad isn't here, right? We can follow our own rules"

"W-well.. when you say it like that.."

Ryland then grinned evilly and pushed her off the tree.

"Hey!!"

Footbots grabbed her and started attacking her.

"Oh cheese balls!"

Leah:

Leah was walking on a bridge, heading towards the mountain when she saw a figure of someone standing on the other side.

"Hello?"

The figure walked closer to her, revealing it was her mother.

".. mother?"

Novo walked closer to her, she just stared at her for the longest time.

"What is it, what are you doing?"

Novo pointed at Leah's heart then at hers, the bridge began shaking.

"Oh no"

Footbots began flying at her and attacking her.

"Great!"

Leah began to fire her arrows until the bridge snapped in half.

"No!!"

Leah started to panic but that's when she realized that she could use her Komodo dragon form.

She quickly changed into her Komodo Dragon form and caught one of the ends of the bridge.

"Oh stars!" She swung and landed on the other side of the bridge. "Well, only way to go is up"

Back at the farmhouse

"Hey Jones!"

"Yes?"

"Where's Coral?" Haley put her hands on her hips.

"I dunno, why?"

"I need to talk to her, can you go get her please?"

"I'll try! How come you can ask.. anyone else!"

"For some reason, she trusts you more than me" Haley snickered, "You remember how she was when she first met us"

"She wanted to kill us"

"Most importantly, Leo"

"Ugh, fine, I'll look for her"

"Thanks, Jones"

"Welcome Haley"

Casey sighed and dragged himself out of his room and started to look for Coral.

"Coral! Come out! I have another bet for you"

Coral was at Novo's grave, holding a water lily.

"There you are, Haley's looking for y.. visiting your friend"

"Yes, my friend... Do you wanna know what Novo means?"

"No I don't actually"

"Well, I don't care... It means New, that should've been my first guess! When we first met you all, Novo had this vision"

"What was it?"

"She envisioned a world where everyone could work together to protect and grow! Humans, Sirens, Witches, Mutants, Gems, she wanted peace"

"Oh.. maybe that'll happen one day.. Haley's looking for you"

"Okay, also clean the dirt off your face"

"Ah hush"

"Don't knock me into the dirt again Nymph!"

"No promises!" Nymph giggled as she kept training.

"Sure!"

Back with Light

"Finally!"

Light looked around and that's when she spotted a giant wolf running straight towards her.

"What the?!"

The wolf jumped onto her, trying to bite her when Light hissed loudly, alerting other snakes.

"Get off!"

Snakes then jumped on the wolf, making it get off of Light.

"Woah"

The wolf tried to attack her again but this time Light used the snakes as a distraction, she pulled out her tanto and jumped on it's back, stabbing it in the head turning it into dust.

"Yes!"

Back with Aubrey

"Huh, this spiritual training's easier than I thought!"

Aubrey held onto her axe and started monologuing to herself.

"Sure you think this is easy."

Aubrey froze as she turned around and saw her Aunt Sundrop, riding on a magic staff, with a white fox at the top of it.

"Aunt Sundrop? No, you're just a spirit too! You can't be real"

Sundrop used her magic staff as a wand and blasted Aubrey into the mountain, "Did that feel real?"

"Absolutely.."

Sundrop landed in front of her, "You know if your father is a disappointment to everyone."

"He isn't!"

"Oh? He's the reason your mother is gone, he got himself cursed..."

"You're lying! You're lying!" Aubrey growled and attacked her.

Sundrop fought back and she began using her magic staff to use her powers. "Still can't use your powers! I'm so sorry, maybe you need a teacher!"

"I have a great teacher!"

"Oh, that's right... The Vampire, The Gem, and.... Oh that's right, your powerless father!"

"They at least want to help me! You only want to torture him!"

"You're father, took your mother away from a life of riches and power."

"Because they fell in love, you thought it was reasonable to curse my father!!"

"I didn't curse him." Sundrop tried to pin her down, "I'm half of your size and half your strength. You will be crushed underneath everyone's feet!"

"No I won't!" Aubrey kicked her foot and flipped her over her back, making Sundrop fall off the mountain.

Back with Ray

Ray was attacking the footbots, "I would've been more interested in this spirit quest if it meant I gotta slap some foot around!"

"And I'm not interesting enough for you?"

Ray froze and turned around, it was her mom but dressed as Solar Flare.

"Ma?"

"I'm Solar Flare, you filthy little half-breed." Solar Flare attacked her, which only angered Ray.

"What happened to you! Who pissed you off!"

Solar Flare growled and attacked her which just kept making Ray, more and more pissed.

"I thought you were a better fighter than this!"

"Why you little-!" Solar Flare picked up Ray then slammed her onto the ground, over and over again.

"Ow"

"Your anger... Will always be your weakness. Perhaps, I should pay a visit to your little friends~"

"You wouldn't dare. My anger isn't my weakness!"

"Oh? Then you would've beaten me by now, little half-breed." Solar Flare started walking away.

"Breathe Ray, Pops was right"

Ray looked at the ground, and she began trying to control her temper.

"Ready for round two! Or shall I find your little half breeds first!"

"Shape it, make it powerful... Make it beautiful." She said, making flames come out of her hands.

She ran up to Solar Flare and punched her in the face, making her disappear.

Back with Sera

Sera ran away from the footbots, screaming trying to find a new hiding spot.

"Get away! Get away!"

"Come on, Sera!"

"Wh.. okay Sera! Remember what Pop-sical said, be still and calm like a forest!"

"Sera, I'm here... Come out."

"You come out first!"

"Fine, then you..." Ryland walked into the light, then began waiting for Sera.

Sera snuck up behind him and tried to attack him.

"No!" Sera used her nunchucks to turn him to dust.

Back with Remus

Remus was trying to fly to get away from the footbots.

"Ugh! I can't fly!"

"Giving up already! I thought you were better than that!"

Remus froze as he turned around and saw Anton, growling at him.

"Oh not you"

"For the son of the great ninja master... You sure are pathetic."

"Your not much better"

"Oh? Such a big mouth for such a little boy~"

"And? At least I'm not simping for a child, borderline s** offender"

"Oh, you really love to talk... How about I carve that tongue out." Anton punched Remus in the stomach, making him fly straight into a tree.

"Ow"

"Why don't you prove to me that you can fight without your little leader~"

"Gladly"

Remus tried fighting Anton, which only made Anton kick him towards the cliff.

"Nowhere left to go except down~ I thought you'd actually put up a fight!"

"He's right... I can't beat him.... How am I supposed to be the son of the great ninja master if I can't beat a lowlife..."

"You don't have to be him or me, you can be Remus" Remus thought, he then grinned as he got an idea.

"Ready for another round~? I bet your little wings will make great trophies!"

"Always!"

Remus jumped off the cliff then started flying using the lessons Nightshade taught him.

"Where did-!"

"SURPRISE MOTHERF**KER!!" Remus shouted as he flew behind him, using his feather shaped knives to turn Anton to dust.

Back with Leah

Leah walked up the mountain and saw the same deer from before.

"What is it? What is the lesson you're trying to teach me?"

"Lesson? You already failed."

Leah gasped as she turned around and saw Metal staring at her with her weapons ready.

"Metal"

"You're too weak to stand without your team." Metal then stepped onto Leah's weak leg, "You can barely stand at all!"

"Ow!!"

Leah started trying to run away but Metal kept chasing her.

"Your injury is like a ball and chain, dragging you and holding you down."

"She's right... I can't win like this, it will always hold me down..." Leah sighed and stopped walking for a moment. "Unless.. it's all in my head"

Leah saw the deer from before stare at her, until it transformed into a mutant. It changed into a blue mist, disappearing into her mind.

"It's time we end this, half-breed."

"I agree." Leah stood up and she ran straight towards Metal.

Metal tried to attack her but Leah aimed an arrow at her eye, pulled the drawstring back and fired it at her. The arrow landed in her eye and it turned Metal to dust.

Leah stood up on the mountain, she lifted up her tanto and held it above her face.

"I beat you in the spirit world and I will beat you in the real world. I'm ready." Leah shouted, gaining her confidence back but what she didn't realize was that her mother's spirit was watching her, cheering her on.

Back at the farmhouse

"Hey Lena, have you s.." Phillip asked, looking around for Lena when he saw her and Preston playing together.

"Dah!! Phillip! This isn't what it looks like!"

"Yes it is!"

"Shut up!!"

"Make me!"

Lena picked up Preston and started chasing Phillip around the farmhouse.

"Mercy!! Nymph, help me!!"

"Nope! You have to survive!"

"Oh come on!!"

Nymph giggled then it faded as she spotted the team walk out of the forest.

"What? What's wr.." Phillip asked, slowing down as he saw the team walk out the forest.

Lena froze and stared at the team, in shock. "What happened out there?"

"It's time..." Leah looked up, "We're going back to New York."

"We are?"

"Yes, it's about time."

"Awesome!"
