Chapter 7

SmokeBee swam through the dark ocean, making her way back to the summer island palace. SmokeBee! Wait for us! Sidearm's voice rang into SmokeBee's mind and she turned around and saw all her friends chasing after her. Sidearm? Why are you guys following me?! SmokeBee asked when Sidearm and the others caught up to her. We need to follow you! We need to stay together! How are we supposed to know whether you got to the palace or not? Sidearm asked through the mind conversation between him and SmokeBee. Fair point... SmokeBee agreed. How do we get back to the summer palace, exactly? Sidearm asked, looking around for any Ocean-Bots, or, a distant island figure. I have an idea, SmokeBee replied and she lit up her whole body very brightly and a familiar, grey, Ocean-Bot appeared a few miles ahead of them. Shark.

Shark waved his hand towards himself, indicating for the quintet to come closer to him and follow him. SmokeBee kicked her legs hard and followed after the faster Ocean-Bot, her friends behind her. Shark then got himself into a current, the same one he took to lead the Sparklings of Destiny to the cave where they learned Oceania. SmokeBee followed him in and she held her little sister tight and close to her chest. How much further until the summer palace?! She thought worriedly when she felt her sister shiver in the cold, dark ocean. Then, it finally appeared, the summer island palace, so majestic and mysteriously appeared in front on SmokeBee out of the dark and gloomy ocean. Shark dived into the tunnel and so did SmokeBee, but she was in a really huge rush. It's okay sis, just a little longer, SmokeBee thought, trying to communicate to her waking sister and then, she leapt out of the ocean and onto the beach that was located beside the palace pavilion. "Thank Primus, we made it just in time!" She gasped with tiredness and Shark was breathing deeply and hard next to her. He then saw SmokeBee holding the last waking daughter of Queen Tsunami. "That's the Queen's daughter!" He exclaimed and SmokeBee decided to correct him. "Her last daughter." She corrected and Shark looked at her with surprise. "What?" He asked. "It's true, she's the last one," SmokeBee replied and looked down at her little sister. She then realised that she never got a good look at her little sister, so she decided to just sit back and looked at the young femme in her arms at this very moment.

SmokeBee's youngest sister was beautiful. A brilliant, bumblebee-yellow, gold that shone even on a day like this, dark and gloomy with a storm coming overhead. Her crest was a beautiful ultra pink, with a vermillion coloured diamond in the centre. Along her wings were brightly coloured blue, Energon blue to be precise.

SmokeBee smiled at her little sister, even though she cannot see her yet. I will protect you until you wake up, my little sister. Sleep well and trust me, SmokeBee thought and held her sister close to her chest. Sidearm showed up at the beach inside his air bubble, which vanished as soon as he took his first step onto the beach. He was then followed by Darknight, Windshear and Oria. "Hey, you four." Shark greeted them as they sat next to SmokeBee and the grey mech himself. "Sidearm, this has gotten serious. How can I hear your voice inside my head?" SmokeBee asked as she faced Sidearm, pretty stern about the situation. "It's not a spell...or is it? I don't know, okay. I just started happening one day, like how fast I became when I got out into the open world for the first time of my life, and in the arena where my first animus power unearthed themselves. It just happened, like it was apart of me." Sidearm replied with honesty filled in his voice. "Okay." SmokeBee smiled, satisfied with the answer her friend gave her.

"Now the real question is, who killed the other femme?" Darknight asked and everyone faced him as if he's always the centre of attention. "Seriously though, who killed her?" He asked again and SmokeBee was the first to reply. "Anyone remember Whirlpool? That heck of a General we met?" She asked. "Heck yeah! He wanted us dead." Windshear agreed. "Hey, Shark? Do you know what this means?" SmokeBee asked Shark and she repeated the hand gesture she saw Whirlpool do when she told him not to kill her friends. "That? It means 'not right now, we'll finish it later'." Shark replied. "Seriously?! You're saying that Whirlpool will kill my friends, sooner or later?!" SmokeBee exclaimed and unfortunately, Shark nodded. "Dang!" SmokeBee cursed and looked down at her sister again. "Possible suspect: Whirlpool." She noted out loud. "We hardly know anyone else! Who else can be a possible suspect?" Sidearm said and that's when everyone realised that they should stop making predictions. "Yeah, you're right, we hardly know anyone here," SmokeBee spoke up. "Come on guys, you've gotta get to a guest room before the beach gets flooded during the storm," Shark announced and started looking for a spare guest room in the village of coral.

They settled in a guest room, pretty deep in the village. "Goodnight, guys," SmokeBee said and Sidearm returned it to her. She yawned and cuddled her sister close to her and fell asleep. See you in the morning, sister. She thought before she fell into a deep sleep.
