There was just complete silence between the two. Batowl then giggled softly as his wings appeared. Batowl flew swiftly as Jon heard guns being pointed at him by two security guards. Jon was going to react only for Batowl to kick both guards off their feet. Then he kicked into them into the air slamming his foot down into both guards chests. Batowl then kneed them hard into the chest sending the guards hard into a wall. Both guards were knocked unconscious as they laid silent. "You got to be more careful Batcoon you wouldn't want to be caught off guard." Batowl spoke swiftly. "*snarls* and beating them like you did could have killed them. Have you no sympathy for those you hurt?" Jon asks with a snarl only for a knife to barely miss his throat. Batowl carefully walked over in front of Jon. "Be careful of words you speak.....Batcoon...... After all if you didn't get to the Science Engineering Cortex building. Do you honestly think Early Bird would be alive?" Batowl spoke coldly.

Jon snarled and went to punch him only for Batowl to grab his arm. "Temper......temper..... Batcoon I'd be careful wouldn't want to alert the other guards now would we?" Batowl asks as Jon glared and backed off. Batowl grabbed his knife and continued to walk. Jon's guard raised more as he followed. They soon reached an office as Batowl plugged in his usb. Jon watched Batowl carefully as Batowl continued to work. Jon was going to say something when the lights went out. Soon the lights turned back on as Jon could see Batowl was nowhere to be found. "What!?" Jon spoke as he walked out of the office. Fire alarms soon began to blare loudly as Jon groaned covering his ears. "Jon get out of there!" Tyler yelled into the coms. Jon ran quickly as he carefully made his way out to the party area seeing intense flames start to rise.

Strangely enough there were no people around. It was only him as he made his way up to the rooftop. Once he got to the roof there was Batowl holding a Duffle bag. "Took you long enough." Batowl spoke throwing it at him. Jon glared at him a bit confused. "Leaving people behind I'm guessing that's your thing now?" Jon asks. Batowl laughed slightly as he stared at Jon. "I didn't leave now did I? I wouldn't abandon someone unless given a good reason." Batowl spoke honestly. Jon grew silent for a split second. "You never gave me a reason to leave you to die. So don't make assumptions." Batowl spoke quickly. Jon growled softly and was going to say something when he disappeared.

Jon looked around seeing Batowl sitting as he stared at him. "I can sense your anger against me Batcoon but that won't help. Especially when that congressman life's in danger...." Batowl spoke catching his attention. "What....?" Jon asks. "*smirks.* you really haven't realized it? I've kept you incredibly busy especially your friends on that communication device in your ear. Did you really think I'd be stupid enough to let you trick me?" Batowl asks as he landed in front of Jon. "Well Batcoon the question is are you desperate enough to take me on or are you willing to let a man die because you're incredible incompetent?" Batowl asks as he took off into the air. Jon was silent but glared daggers into Batowl before getting back in his costume and teleporting away.
"Do you really think that got their attention now." The serpent spoke as he unvarnished. "Oh it definitely did.....so let's see what kind of cards they'll play." Batowl spoke with a slight giggle.

Jon moved quickly as Tyler gave him directions to the last whereabouts of the congressman. Jon teleported fast as he found the congressman tied to a pole with other criminals. Jon was a bit confused but he heard movement. Jon quickly moved and blocked a foot of a male in a wolf mask. "Nice block." The male spoke as he flipped kicked Jon into the ground. Jon groaned but quickly stood up. "Jon you alright?" Tyler asks watching Jon's vitals flicker. "Send Mysterious Devil, Might monkey, and wrk here now Wild Hog." Jon spoke seriously. The wolf masquerade male in front of him smirked as he pulled out a small pole. With a small click the pole turned into a bow staff scythe. "Let's see what you're exactly made of hero." The male spoke quickly.

Jon snarled and teleported behind the male and went to punch him. The male dodged quickly and smacked him hard with his bow staff scythe. "Your teleportation won't work on me." The male spoke seriously. Jon glared as water began to swirl around from the ground. The male noticed as the water whipped and slashed at the male. The male dodged and cut the water in half only for it to reform. "You're not going to take me out so easily." Jon spoke with a snarl. "*smirks.* oh I know....but I was never meant to take you out Batcoon I was only supposed to distract you." The male spoke leaving Jon confused just as he felt increased amount of pain. Jon veins felt as if they were on fire as he collapsed onto the ground falling into unconscious. Standing behind him was a male in a hawk's Masquerade mask. The hawks masked male right hand glowed brightly with green electricity. The wolf masked male grabbed the communicator for Jon's ear and crushed it. "Well that's plan worked smoothly huh Dark?" The masked hawk male spoke. "Of course it would anti. It's Batowls plan after all." Dark spoke quickly.

Chapter Five Completed and remade. I hope everyone's enjoying the new version of the story so far. Plus I'm hoping it makes a better amount of sense. Then the old version of the book.
