Chapter 7
~~~Hanha's POV~~~
We got inside the school just as the bell rang.
"Dallia, you have music class first?" Nate asked. Dallia nodded. "Awsome! Follow us." We rushed to the music room. Luckily, the music room is really close to the front doors. We took our seats. Ms. Jackson started attendance.
"Ok class, today since our new student Dallia is here, I want to hear her sing. But don't worry, Dallia, you won't be alone because I've paired you up with Hanha. Girls come on up." Dallia and I got up and walked to the front of the classroom.
"What do you wanna sing?" I whispered to her.
"Do you know how to play the Pokemon theme song?" She whispered back. I nodded, picking up Ms. Jackson's acoustic guitar, and started to play.
Dallia knew exactly when to start, when to pause, when to hold notes, when to do EVERYTHING! It sounded beautiful! We finished the song, I put the guitar down and walked back to my seat. "Very good you two! You were able to pick a song in- not even a minute- and perform it like you've been practicing it for years!" Ms. Jackson was fangirling over us! I smiled, and Dallia blushed.
The classes flew by and soon it was lunch time. Nate, Dallia, and I got our lunches, a hamburger and a pear. We sat at our (Nate and my) usual spot.
"So Dallia, you like pokemon?" I pointed at her shirt. "Yeah, b-but..." She looked down shyly. "W-why do you wanna be my friend?" Dallia asked. "Because you and I- we both became friends with Nate the same way and I understand what you're going through." She looked up, wearing a shocked expression. "But why do people pick on you? And don't take this the wrong way, but I think you're beautiful."
"Thanks, but the reason people pick on me is because I have a rare genetic condition or whatever that makes my hair snow white." She looked at me confused. "Believe me, here you get bullied for just about everything." I took a bite of my hamburger. Nate got up. "Hey Nate, where ya going?" I asked. "Bathroom, I'll be back in a minute."
