Jennifer walked down the stairs from the room she shared with Phoebe. She's been staying with the Thundermans' for 3 weeks now. "Kids hurry up! You need to eat breakfast before you go to school." Barb yelled from the kitchen. Max and Phoebe both entered the kitchen after Jennifer.

"Max we need to work on that project after school." Jenn said and she took a bite of toast.

"Okay. Sounds good." Max said, dismissing anything odd. "Just come down to my lair and we'll work then." He said. Jenn briefly nodded.

"What project?" Phoebe asked.

"We got assigned together for a project in Chem." Jenn explained.

"Ah." Phone said in realization.

"Come on guys time to go. Your gonna be late" Barb reminded them. Ask the got up to leave. Phoebe and Max waved goodbye to their parents. "Bye Aunt Barb, bye Uncle Hank." She exclaimed before shutting the door.

After school

Jennifer slid down the metal slide to Max's room with her Chemistry reading materials. "Wee!" She exclaimed on the way down.

"I see you like my Slide of Doom." Max said, quipping. He wasn't used to his family understanding his jokes, much less respond. That's why Jennifer's response startled him a little.

"Well, heck yeah. Seriously why doesn't everyone have one of these. They're amazing." She said as she opened her binder.

For the next hour her and Max started and completed their Chemistry project. After they were finished Max moved it to the side and looked back at her. "So. How're you adjusting to this new situation?" Max asked, trying to ease the awkwardness that had fallen upon them.

"Just that. Adjusting. To be honest I only call your parents Aunt and Uncle because I know it's what they really want. This new adjustment has been hard on everyone and I wanna ease it for whoever I can." She responded. "Hey. Is that a nuclear proton combustion chamber?" Jenn asked, pointing to a large capsule on Max's table.

"Yup. Or at least, it will be. Once I get it working." Max responded.

"Mind if I take a look?" Jenn asked. Max handed her his tools kit.

"Sure but I honestly don't think you can-" Max was cut off.

"Done." Jenn said and handed him his tool kit back while pressing the blue button. "All engines are go" she responded with a smile.

"How did you do that?" Max asked, beholding his newest piece of equipment in amazement.

"Just because my parents are good now doesn't mean I wasn't brought up with at least a little bit of mischief. My Dad taught me how machines work when I was a kid." She explained.

"So have you ever broken any laws or anything?" Max joked.

"A few but none too major." Jenn said seriously with a smile.

Max's mouth dropped. "You are my new favorite family member." He said in all seriousness.

Filler chapter but I keep on getting asked to update so this is it for now.
