ERIK: *closes his eyes and waits for her screams*

ARIEL: *gasps* Oh you poor merman...

ERIK: *turns away from her*

ARIEL: Erik... Look at me

ERIK: *refuses* I'm hideous. I know that.

ARIEL: You're not...

ERIK: don't lie to me.

ARIEL: Looks don't matter to me...

ERIK: They did when we first met. *snaps*

ARIEL: *snaps back* You weren't exactly the nicest to me

ERIK: *turns towards her, forgetting he's maskless* Neither were you!

ARIEL: Well excuse me for being petrified!!

ERIK: There was absolutely no reason to be!

ARIEL: THE DEAL!! Your Lair!!! Your pets!!

ERIK: I did the deal because you wanted me to! The lair is the only place I've ever called home and my "pets" as you call them are the only family I've ever known!

ARIEL: LIAR!

ERIK: What do you mean 'liar'? I'm not lying to you!

ARIEL: *rolls her eyes* goodbye

ERIK: *grabs her hand* Wait a second, kindly explain what you meant. *turns her to look at him*

ARIEL: you've tricked your way through people's lives...

ERIK: How else was I supposed to? Normal people, merfolk or humans, don't accept monsters.

ARIEL: You're not a monster!!!

ERIK: I am. When one's own mother says that to your face, it makes sense to believe it. *turns away*

ARIEL: You're not...

ERIK: you're the first to ever say that... *hangs head*

ARIEL: *kisses his face*

ERIK: *freezes in shock*

ARIEL: *softly places kisses on his scarred side*

ERIK: *Is completely frozen*

ARIEL: I don't want to fight... *kisses his nose*

ERIK: *pulls her into his arms* I don't want to fight either.

ARIEL: *cuddles him close to her* I love you

ERIK: I love you more. *kisses her*

URSULA: *is hiding secretly and turns him into an octopus creature with her magic and disappears*

ERIK: *looks at himself* I'm going to kill her... *eyes darken* Then I'll change back. *begins laughing*

ARIEL: How?

ERIK: You see, Ursula forgot one thing... I was always much more of a master with magic than she was. And, the only irreversible thing I have ever done is married you. She used my own spell on me and I know how to change back.

ARIEL: *smirks* You do look good with tentacles actually

ERIK: *wraps them around her and pulls her closer with them* I do, do I? *daringly kisses her neck*

ARIEL: *giggles and blushes profusely*

ERIK: *kisses her neck again* I still prefer my tail...

ARIEL: I don't know... I think I like this better... *kisses him sweetly*

ERIK: I can always change back...the spell has no repercussions.

ARIEL: *grins and lays kisses all over his face* Good

ERIK: as much as I would like to remain in your arms, I believe I will leave. I have someone who needs some "dealing with."

ARIEL: *nods* You go ahead. I'll be here

ERIK: I love you. *kisses her lips* I'll be back... *kisses her neck before swimming away to where he knows Ursula will be*

URSULA: *is flirting with other kinds of her people*

ERIK: *watches her* *calls her to in a hypnotic voice he knows she can't resist* Ursula... *calls her away from her acquaintances*

URSULA: *goes to him grinning* Erik... You've come

ERIK: Yes, I've come...*swims around her* come to kill you.

URSULA: WHAT!?!??

ERIK: *pins her to the ocean floor with his tentacles* I came to kill you. Then, I'll change myself back into a merman and you will be out of my life forever.

URSULA: *sobs* No please... I've f-finally found happiness here...

ERIK: then why did you come back to the city? I told you not to... *ignores her sobs*

URSULA: I didn't!

ERIK: oh but you did. This spell only works from a short distance. You had to be there.

URSULA: *cries* I wasn't! I swear on my tentacles!

ERIK: then, explain why I have these...you're the only other one who knows the spell. And, I'm the only one who knows the counteracting spell.

URSULA: D-Devon... He knows the spell

ERIK: *laughs* Devon... why are you trying to lie your way out of this?

URSULA: *flinches* I'm not lying! Please!

ERIK: I feel your mark on this spell. I feel it.

URSULA: I found a merman... That loves me for who I am.., please have mercy

ERIK: Have mercy? I gave you one rule to follow. Don't come back into the kingdom. You did. You broke my rule.

URSULA: *sobs* What would Ariel say?

ERIK: She knows about I'm about to kill you.

URSULA: *shakes her head*

ERIK: crying doesn't suit your cruel personality. *takes a tentacle and begins to squeeze the life out of her*

URSULA: *chokes*

ERIK: *squeezes tighter* You were a good friend while it lasted.

URSULA: *takes her last breath*

ERIK: *lets her go after she dies* Good riddance... *swims back to Ariel*

ARIEL: *looks at him* Well..?

ERIK: she is....dealt with. *smirks*

ARIEL: *hugs him and his tentacles wrap around her*

ERIK: *holds her tightly* Now, shall we go to my lair and deal with this tentacle problem?

ARIEL: *laughs* If you want to. I like them

ERIK: well, I do prefer the tail. How would you like it if I cast a spell that allowed me to change between them whenever I wanted? *kisses her and wraps her in closer*

ARIEL: *giggles* That'd be perfect

ERIK: Alright. *wraps her in close and carries her towards the lair* I'll do that.

ARIEL: *grins* Your tentacles tickle my tail

ERIK: *purposely tickles her tail again*

ARIEL: *giggles cutely* Hey!

ERIK: *kisses her neck and tickles her tail again*

ARIEL: *squirms and laughs loudly* Cut it out! *grins wildly*

ERIK: *smirks* why should I? You seem to be enjoying it....

ARIEL: *looks at him and kisses him lightly*

ERIK: *kisses her back* Have I told you I loved you in the last five minutes? *gazes lovingly into her eyes*

ARIEL: *blushes* I don't think you have.

ERIK: I love you. *whispers softly and gently*

ARIEL: I love you too

ERIK: *swims into the cave and lays her down on the bed*

ARIEL: *smiles*

ERIK: *begins swimming around, gathering things to use for the spell*

ARIEL: *wraps herself in the blanket*

ERIK: *finishes gathering the ingredients* Ariel, I just thought of something.

ARIEL: What? *looks at him*

ERIK: Would you like to visit the fisherman today? I need to drop by and make sure he dealt with his son.

ARIEL: Sure. *grins* I'd love to see them

ERIK: very well then. Would you like to go as merfolk or as humans?

ARIEL: It's ultimately up to you.

ERIK: Well, I did enjoy having legs. I never did bother to ask if you did. *changes himself back into a merman*

ARIEL: I did. But I missed my fin. *smiles* Lets go human

ERIK: *grins and takes her hand gently in his own* very well. It won't be more than twenty-four hours.

ARIEL: *nods and swims out from the blanket*

ERIK: *leads her to the shore and pulls them onto the sand* Now, lie perfectly still, Ariel.

ARIEL: *does as he says*

ERIK: *sets his hand on her shoulders and runs them down her sides all the way to her tail* *she changes into a human and is dressed in a dress the same color as her tail*

ARIEL: *looks at him* Can I move now?

ERIK: *waves a hand at himself and is dressed in a fine suit the same color as his tail* Yes, you may. *stands up and holds out a hand for her to take*

ARIEL: *takes it and stands, smiling* I like your suit.

ERIK: *smirks* Thank you. *kisses her hand* You look absolutely gorgeous in that dress.

ARIEL: Thank you. *beams*

ERIK: *offers his arm* Shall we?

ARIEL: *takes it* We shall

ERIK: *leads her towards the fisherman's house*

ARIEL: Hello!

FATHER: *steps out of the house and jaw drops* Y-your m-majesty?

ERIK: *leads her up to the porch*

ARIEL: Yep!

FATHER: *bows low to her then turns to Erik* Are you here to deal with my son?

ERIK: *nods* Yes, I came to make sure that he had been punished appropriately.

DEAN: He's in prison... *bows*

ARIEL: *smiles gently*

ERIK: *smiles* wonderful.

DEAN: Dad? Where's sis?

FATHER: I thought she was outside with the garden.

DEAN: *leaves*

ARIEL: *smiles*

HAILEY: *comes in* Hello?

ERIK: *looks at her* hello, Miss. *says politely*

HAILEY: *grins and curtsies*

FATHER: *smiles* This is my daughter, Hailey.

HAILEY: Hi. *goes closer to Erik*

ERIK: Hello.

HAILEY: You're so tall... And muscular... And... Handsome... *swoons*

ERIK: *arches an eyebrow* Thank you... *looks at Ariel*

ARIEL: And married. To me. *glares at her*

HAILEY: *scoffs* He's out of your league.

ERIK: *smirks as he hears Ariel* *shoots a glare at Hailey* Don't speak ill of my wife, miss.

HAILEY: You could do so much better...

ARIEL: Excuse me!? *feels offended*

ERIK: *steps one step back to avoid being in the middle of a cat fight* I cannot do better.

HAILEY: Why don't you take a chance with me..? *smirks*

ARIEL: *slaps her* Stop it! He's already devoted to me so get lost!

HAILEY: *eyes wide and she runs off*

ERIK: *tries to avoid laughing* you looked positively green with jealousy, my sea Angel.

ARIEL: *is back to normal and huffs* She shouldn't have flirted with you like that

FATHER: yes, she shouldn't have. Forgive us, please. I have done much to curb her flirtatious nature but I can do no more.

ARIEL: It's fine. *kisses his cheek* Just as long as she knows I'm committed

FATHER: *smiles kindly* she does now.

ARIEL: *sees the sun setting* We better get back.

ERIK: *takes her hand* yes, we had better. Good evening, sir, and feel free to always fish in my waters. *leads Ariel to the shore*

ARIEL: *dives gracefully into the water*

ERIK: *follows her* *changing the moment he hits the water*

ARIEL: *swims down*

ERIK: *follows her*

ARIEL: *goes to the palace and into his room*

ERIK: *enters his bedroom and lays down on the bed*

ARIEL: *snuggles up next to him*

ERIK: *kisses her*

ARIEL: *kisses him back* I love you

ERIK: I love you more.

ARIEL: I love you most

ERIK: not possible... *kisses her nose*

ARIEL: *blushes* It is.

REZA: *slithers inside and crawls into bed, wanting to get warm*

ERIK: *glances over at Reza* what are you doing here?

REZA: *slithers up Ariel's arm and rests*

ARIEL: *grins and pets his head*

ERIK: why don't you go pester Nadir, Reza? *glares at the snake*

ARIEL: He's cold... Let it be, Erik... *pulls the covers closer*

ERIK: *scowls* fine, but he better stay out of the way. *pulls her closer to him*

NADIR: *slithers in as well and rests on top of the blanket and at the foot of the bed*

ARIEL: Nadir's here too... *yawns*

ERIK: I know. *glares at Nadir* did someone have a nightmare? *teases Nadir*

NADIR: It's just cold tonight... I don't know why... Like something isn't right...

ERIK: nothing's been right lately.

NADIR: *curls up around Erik's waist*

ARIEL: *falls asleep*

ERIK: *glares at Nadir and Reza and falls asleep*

~The Next Morning~

ARIEL: *sleeps*

ERIK: *wakes up*

DEVON: *has poisoned him with forgetfulness*
