Brightstream carefully walked across the log that served as a bridge to the island, taking care not to fall off. It seemed to take an eternity for her to reach the island's shore. Crystalheart, who had fallen off earlier and was now soaking wet, grumbled. Brightstream nudged her cousin.

"Oh come on! RiverClan cats are supposed to get wet! Don't be such a kit about it." Brightstream chided her. Crystalheart shivered and scowled at the silver she-cat, while shaking out her long dappled gray and white fur. 

"You'd be mad if you fell in the lake, watched by the whole Clan." Came her grouchy reply. Brightstream picked up a wad of moss and soaked the water from Crystalheart's fur into the green bundle. 

"Better? Now stop complaining, and move! We're blocking the bridge." Brightstream chided. The Clan spilled into the clearing.

"Hey, we're early!" Foxpaw exclaimed. She leapt onto the ancient oak stump, where the leaders adressed the Clan. "I'm the leader of all Clans!!!!!" She yowled. Before she had a chance to come down, Rippletail picked her up by the scruff of her neck and hauled her down.

"Who do you think you are? I don't want you embarrassing us in front of the other Clans! Just as well we're the only ones here. Here come ShadowClan. Don't embarrass us further. For this gathering, I want you to sit in the corner, and I'll have Duskfur keep an eye on you." The RiverClan deputy scolded firmly. ShadowClan slunk into the clearing. At once, Rowanstar jumped onto the stump, signalling for Reedstar to follow. Tawnypelt followed. Onestar and his cats pelted after ThunderClan, Bramblestar at the lead.

"Be careful, Onestar." Ashfoot, the WindClan deputy guided the rather frail WindClan leader to the stump. The last two leaders leaped onto the stump. The moon shone as bright as fire, reflected in the clear, silvery lake. Rowanstar moved to the front. We have a new warrior, Hawkfrost! A light brown tabby with piercing blue eyes stood up. Surely, with a name with such ill history is bound to bring trouble? The prophecy mentioned a traitor, though I didn't tell anyone... Crystalheart pondered uneasily. Hawkfrost dipped his head and disappeared into the crowd of cheering ShadowClan warriors, his mother Dawnpelt at his side. 

"ThunderClan, too, has a new warrior. Mistflame, come forward!" A dark gray tabby she-cat stepped forward, relishing in the cheers, excitement positively spiking from her pelt. When she finally bounded away, a spring in her step, Onestar called his newest warrior, Echoheart, forward. She was a lithe, white, cream, and gray-blue dappled tortoiseshell. Her dark blue eyes gleamed with fear as she stood up, darting away after her name was called. Rabbit-hearted coward. Crystalheart scowled.

"I have news to share! StarClan has revealed a prophecy, and this concerns all of the Clans. Crystalheart has more news." Reedstar mewed, stepping forward. "But before that, let us welcome a new warrior- Brightstream!!!!" As the cheers died away, Crystalheart shouldered the way through the crowd.

"StarClan has given me a prophecy. The end is coming.... Bright Fire born of Water and Wind, Misty Water of the Storm, Snowy Hawk from the Shadows, Air's Echo of the Wind, Frosty Ice from the Sky, and the Light of the Crystalline Stars will unite to bring the New Dawn and end the everlasting Night. We know that Brightstream is Fire, but we don't know any of the others. I wanted to ask if there are any cats with supernatural abilities in the other Clans, or if there are weird things going on."
