Hermione Granger has always been seen as the rule follower student, high marks, best friends with Harry Potter, but over the past few days she has been seen as a rule breaker and friends with Harry's enemy Draco Malfoy.
Many students didn't know why Hermione would be friends with Someone they thought helped their parents kill Hermione's parents, many students found out about Hermione skipping some classes to avoid Professor Dumbledore and McGonagall, some students made rumours that Hermione was a death eater and turned against Harry Potter.

Hermione ignored the rumours, but the last one struck and she gave her attention to it more, a death eater, a Muggleborn being a death eater isn't possible anyway, Voldemort only accepts pure bloods...right?.

"I mean she could be a death eater" a 4th year Ravenclaw says walking with her friends in the corridors "she's a Muggleborn, that's impossible" another girls says from the group "she's also the brightest witch of her age, maybe You know who wants her because of her knowledge" another girl says, Hermione walked past them as fast as she could to avoid eye contact, she hated the rumours, she really did.

Hermione arrives at Potions and takes a seat next to Draco and Blaise "you are late again Miss Granger" Slughorn says walking over to Hermiones table "sorry sir, lost track of time" Hermione says taking her books out her bag.

"You should stop lying, lying isn't a good thing Granger" Draco says "oh shut up" Hermione says rolling her eyes while Blaise smirks.
"Rumours are getting out of hand, people are now saying I'm a death eater, I have little courage to walk to class In case I hear it again" Hermione says "ignore them, they don't know anything about you" Blaise says looking over at Hermione while note taking "it's hard to do so when they talk about you right in front of your face" Hermione says, She looks across the room at Harry and Ron, they look exhausted, Rons hair is a mess while Harry has baggers under his eyes, Hermione looks away from her old friends and looks back at Draco and Blaise "they are a mess without me" Hermione says "yep they are" Draco says with a smirk.

After potions, Hermione, Draco and Blaise sit outside in the courtyard for their free period, while talking Draco realised something and started to gather his things "what's wrong?" Blaise asks "nothing, just gotta do something real quick" Draco says "okay" Hermione says watching Draco walk away "he's been doing this for the last two weeks now" Blaise says sitting back "I'm sure whatever it is, it is important" Hermione says smiling, Hermione notices Draco left his potions book on the grass, she stands us and picks it up "I'll catch up with him, see you later" Hermione says to Blaise as she runs after Draco.

Hermione follows Draco the the Room of Requirement, she stops still and watches as Draco opens the Room of Requirement, Hermione managed to slip in before the door closed, she hides behind a stack of old broken chairs and watches Draco as he approaches an old cabinet, Hermione looks at the Cabinet wondering why Draco was here, Hermione watched as Draco placed an apple into the cabinet then a few seconds later it was gone, it was a vanishing cabinet, Hermione rememberers seeing Draco in knockturn ally before the start of the term with a Vanishing cabinet but how is it at hogwarts?. Hermione watched as Draco walked out the room of Requirement, she waited five minutes before walking out and making her way to history of magic thinking about what she just saw.

At lunch Hermione kept quiet, she didn't even eat "Hermione, you going to eat?" Blaise asks Hermione "lost my appetite" Hermione says "where is it" Draco says looking in his bag "what?" Blaise asks "my potions book" Draco says "oh, you left it at the courtyard earlier, I thought Hermione gave you it back" Blaise says looking at Hermione "oh yeah sorry, here, I couldn't find you after you left" Hermione says handing over Draco's potions book "went to the Slytherin common room, that's why" Draco says, Hermione looks down at her feet and starts to think why he would lie to her, they are friends after all...right?

After the feast, Hermione took Draco to an empty classroom "why lie?" Hermione asks Draco, Draco looks at Hermione confused "what?" Draco says "why lie about where you went, I saw you go into the room of Requirement Draco" Hermione says "I go in there to release my stress, you know family problems, I just need a quiet place" Draco says "Draco, I saw you playing with a Vanishing Cabinet, please tell me the truth" Hermione says "you spied on me, unbelievable, and for your information, I was fixing it" Draco says "fixing it for what reason Malfoy" Hermione says "I-I can't tell you" Draco says, He opens the classroom door and walks out the room, Hermione runs after him

"please Draco, I saw you in knock turn ally before the term started, you saw another Vanishing Cabinet, if you are planning something I won't be mad" Hermione says, Draco stops walking and looks at her "so you think I'm a death eater" Draco says "what no" Hermione says "you do, you think I'm a death eater and I'm planning something, wow Granger, I thought we were friends, but no, you are still that Granger that cares about Potter and tells him everything he needs to know, just don't talk to me" Draco says walking away.
