Hermione, Harry and Ron entered kings cross station, it was busy for 10:30am, as they ran through the wall between platforms 9 and 10, Hermione got a lot of stares from other people, they would look at her then whisper to their friends, she thought it might of been Harry getting the attention so she ignored all the stares and whispers.

The trio enters the train and sits down in a empty compartment, Hermione pulls out one of her books and reads, 3hours later in the journey their compartment door opens and arms flung around Hermione

Hermione are you alright I heard what happened" Neville Longbottom says

"Neville, uh hi, nice to see you again, what are you talking about?" Hermione asks as Neville sits down

"you don't know..?" Neville asks "is it about that muggle family that got murdered? Did you think it was my parents?" Hermione asks

"no...do you guys know what happened and you didn't tell her?" Neville asks Harry and Ron as they shake their heads

"I'm so sorry Hermione your paren-" "we are here, let's go I need to speak to Hagrid" Harry says

"sorry Neville I'll see you later" Hermione says.

As Hermione sits down at the Gryffindor table many Gryffindor's looked at her with sad eyes "what is going on, everyone keeps looking at me and Neville...you know"

Hermione says, all the stares and whispers stopped as Draco Malfoy walks in the great hall

"you're a monster" a Ravenclaw girl yelled at Draco "how can you let your parents do this" a Hufflepuff boy says

"okay what the bloody hell Is going on" Ron says looking over at Draco as he ignores the shouting and sits down at the Slytherin table "probably found out his parents are death eaters" Harry says.

Later that night Hermione was making her way back to her dorm from the library when she bumped into Draco Malfoy

"I'm so sorry I wasn't seeing where I was going" Hermione says not knowing it was Draco

"I'm guessing you also want to go off at me, just get it over with" Draco says as Hermione looks confused at him

"what are you talking about?, what is everyone talking about?" Hermione asks

"don't act dumb Granger, you know what happened, it wasn't my parents, it's false information" Draco says taking out a copy of the daily profit from a week ago

"if you don't know here" Draco says giving Hermione the daily Profit and walking away.

As Hermione returned to the Gryffindor common room she was greeted by Harry and Ron but Hermione just sat down at a table

"I dumped into Malfoy and he gave me this" Hermione says about the open the daily profit but it was snatched out her hands by Ron, Ron and Harry scanned the daily Profit, their eyes turn is utter believe

"what is it?" Hermione asks "you don't want to know" Ron says "oh come on" Hermione says taking the daily Profit from Rons hands and reading the head line.

Muggleborn parents murdered by pure bloods
Last night at 10pm the Granger family were found dead in their muggle home, the house door broken open and broken plates everywhere on the kitchen floor, Mr and Mrs Granger was killed by the killing curse but Hermione Granger wasn't anywhere in the house, the ministry has come to conclusion that the Malfoy family has murdered the Grangers.

Hermione ripped up the daily profit and put her head in her arms "no..Why didn't I stay one more night, this is my fault, I should of been there, why didn't I know they were in danger.." Hermione says tears falling down her cheeks

"Hermione it isn't your fault, it's the Malfoys, I'm going to kill Malfoy" Ron says

"Malfoy told me it was false information, his Parents didn't do it" Hermione says

"of course he is lying" Harry says rolling his eyes

"it wasn't your fault Hermione, I'm sorry to hear about your parents, I'm guessing that's why my parents didn't want the daily profit to come to the burrow that week, so you won't be upset about this" Ron says, Hermione looks down at the ripped up daily profit, she gets up and goes to her dorm.

The next day Hermione enters the great hall, she notices Draco Malfoy sitting along at the Slytherin table, she makes her way over to Malfoy as she was followed by Harry and Ron

"Hermione, what are you doing?" Harry asks but Hermione ignores him, Hermione slammed her Hand down on the Slytherin table in front of Malfoy, everyone in the hall looked over at them, even the teachers

"I knew you were evil but not this evil, how dare you allow your parents to do this" Hermione says tears coming to her eyes

"I told you last night, it wasn't my parents" Draco says whispering to Hermione not wanting to bring attention

"that's a lie, you know it was your parents your just trying to cover it up" Harry says to Draco

"look, not here, we can talk about this later alone granger" Draco says

"why would she meet you alone, you will probably kill her like your parents killed h-" "MY PARENTS DIDNT KILL THE GRANGERS WEASLEY" Draco says standing up and walking out the hall, everyone whispered to each other

"Miss Granger" a voice says from the teachers table, it was Dumbledore but Hermione looked at Dumbledore with tears in her eyes, she didn't say anything but ran out the great hall.
