The next morning Hermione wakes in the the same sheets she feel asleep in, however she had to make sure she was awake incase it was all a dream but of course it wasn't. She made her choice, this is her new life.

There was a silent knock at her bedroom door, Hermione answer with a soft "come in" as the door opens to reveal Narcissa smiling at Hermione.

"Did you sleep well?" Narcissa asks, Hermione nods and climbs out of bed.

"Well there is breakfast ready downstairs if you would like to join us" Narcissa says.

"Whos us?" Hermione asks opening her wardrobe

"Lucius and I, the dark Lord is away with everyone else at the moment, it's your decision. I just thought since you will be on this side you should make a conversation with more people and not be in your room feeling trapped and bored all day" Narcissa answers, Hermione mods while picking an outfit she was going to wear.

"Alright remember the dinning hall is down the hall, left stairs down and the door on your left" Narcissa says closing Hermiones door while leaving.

Hermione enters the dinning hall, there is a small table in the middle with Lucius and Narcissa sitting there. Hermione was confused, why such a small table for a big room.
Hermione takes a seat across from Narcissa and helps herself to some fried eggs and toast.

"You know Miss Granger, last year you were very different, you were full of yourself and knew what side you were on. Now everything have changed, even the dark Lord allowing a Muggleborn on his side" Lucius says, Narcissa steps on his toe and gives him a look of disappointment to stop his attitude.
Hermione looks up at Lucius

"Yes everything has changed, people change. I now know what I want and this is it. I know I'm a Muggleborn but I'm proud to be one" Hermione says taking a bite of her toast.
Lucius smirks while eating.

"Well, I'm glad you are. I'm also glad you are here Miss Granger. Brightest witch of your age I heard, that's an amazing achievement. No wonder the dark Lord wanted you on his side" Lucius says. Hermione smiles.

"So you like her..?" Harry asks Draco. Since Hermione left last night they decided to stay at hogwarts and meet every morning to discuss how they would plan for the war.

"What's that got to do with anything Potter" Draco says grabbing a green apple.

"So we know if we should trust you or not" Ron says

"Well Granger trusted me" Draco says crossing his arms, he walks towards the fire slowly burning the wood.

"But you betrayed her" Ron says smirking at Draco

"So did you" Blaise says to Ron. Everyone goes silent as they watch the fire, everyone at Hogwarts has heard about Hermione Granger disappearance but doesn't know the true story. Just as everyone was about to start talking again an owl appears at the window with a letter, Harry gets up and takes the letter and opens it.

Dear Harry, Ron and who else reads this

How is things going on at Hogwarts? George and I heard from Mum and Dad that Hermione has gone to you know who's side now, is this true? Please don't say this is true. Hermione isn't like this at all. Yes she was always the moody and easily angry person but she would never join his side. Maybe it's a spell?
Let me know ASAP if anything else happens, we want to make sure Hermione is safe!

Fred

Harry reads out the letter, everyone just sits in silent for a few seconds until Ron speaks up.
"Since when did they care about Hermione" Ron says.
"They always have Ron, just never really showed it" Harry says putting the letter down on the sofa, Draco rubs his eyes with his fingers as he yawns.

"You tired Draco?" Blaise asks, Draco looks up at Blaise and nods "didn't sleep last night, to worried" Draco replies.

Draco stands up and starts walking towards the door "where are you going?" Ron asks Draco

"Home, it's where she is, I need to see her and talk to her about this! She will listen to Me" Draco says, Blaise grabs his shoulder.

"Draco she won't listen to anyone, she's changed. Plus how will you even get there" Blaise says, Draco looks over at Ron and Harry who are both looking back at him.

"I can't just sit here anymore Blaise" Draco says. Blaise sighs and takes his hand of Draco's shoulder.

"I know, but it's the only thing we can do. We have to do what Dumbledore says. We lost her Draco, she's on the dark lords side now" Blaise says.

"We haven't lost her, I know she's still out there. Hermione. Our Hermione, not the Hermione who is now on Voldemort's side. The Hermione who stood by my side for years fighting to save me and Ron, the Hermione who didn't care about her blood status, the Hermione who was absolutely beautiful walking down the stairs at the Yule ball." Harry says.

"Don't you get it Potter. The dark Lord fucks with your mind making you forget everything good and makes you do bad stuff! She's not here anymore. She's gone. She's a different person now" Blaise says.

"Enough!" McGonagall says storming into the room.
"We can all hear you from down the corridor, and may I remember you boys classes have started 10 minutes ago. You either go to your classes or you stay in here and be quiet!" McGonagall says walking out the room. The boys look at each other, Ron gets up from his seat and was the first to speak.

"I'm not going to any classes today, I'm to scared at all the people asking me questions about Hermione, already got some today in the great hall."

"I'm going back to the common room, and going to answer Fred, see you all later" Harry says walking out the room with Ron following him.

Blaise turns to Draco and they lock eyes, Blaise nods and walks out the room leaving Draco alone. Draco punches the wall with frustration and anger. He walks over to the window and looks out into the view wondering how Hermione was. Wondering why.. why she is on the dark lords side now. He needs to apologise to her, he needs to see her. That's when an idea clicks in his head, he runs out the room as fast as he can to the Gryffindor common room trying to catch up with Harry before he enters the common room.

He spots Harry and Ron on the moving stairs.
"POTTER!" Draco shouted, Harry turns around as Draco climbs the stairs, a step below Harry he stops taking a second to breath. Ron rises his eyebrows.

"I need to use your owl"
