As Snape enters Malfoy Manor he notices how quiet it is. He notices Narcissa and Lucius in the far right in the front room. He walks over to them.

"Mrs Malfoy, May I speak with you for a moment alone" Snape says, Narcissa stands up and follows Snape into the other room.

"Where is Miss Granger?" Snape asks.

"Upstairs in her own room, the dark Lord now sees her on his side, I don't know what to do Severus, even though the girl is hurt and feels betrayed she shouldn't be here on his side" Narcissa says. Snape starts to walk away and heads upstairs, Narcissa follows.

As they enter Hermiones room, Hermione is sitting on her bed reading a book. She looks up and meets the eyes of Snape, she puts the book down.

"Professor" Hermione says, Snape walks in and goes closer to Hermione.

"Miss Granger, I need you to understand it's not safe for you here, everyone is worried about you back at Hogwarts. You belong on the good side." Snape says, Hermione gives a little laugh and rolls her eyes.

"I'm sorry professor but they chose to treat me that way, they chose to go against me and lie to me. I'm not going back" Hermione says, she gets up and puts the book back onto her desk.

"Hermione, trust us, please" Narcissa says.

"Miss Granger, everyone is worried, even Mr Malfoy, Potter, Weasley, everyone, they all need you. I can easily bring you back-"

"I'm not going back! I'm not returning to that school. They don't care! They only use me for my grades and knowledge!! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ME"

"Miss Granger-"

"NO, do you know what it feels like to be tossed around, to think no one cares about you, no one at all. I have no one anyone, everyone betrayed me. I only have myself and that's all that matters. This is what I want to do so accept that. This is my life and I'm not going to let you take this away from me like the ministry took my parents out my life, like my friends lied to me, like Draco betrayed me!" Hermione says. Snape stays silent.

Hermione takes a deep breath in and out, "please leave me alone, I'm now on this side, I'm not the Hermione Granger I used to be" Hermione says, she picks up her book she was reading and sits on her bed. Snape looks at Narcissa and nods, he leaves Hermiones room with Narcissa.

Blaise runs into the Slytherin common room, he runs over to Draco sitting in-front of the fire. "Draco, Snapes back. Let's go" Blaise says walking away.

"It's my fault, Potter and Weasley are right, I shouldn't of betrayed her" Draco says, Blaise sighs and puts his hand on Draco's shoulder. "It's not your fault Draco, you were doing what was best, come on" Blaise says as he walks out the common room. Draco gets up slowly and follows.

They enter Dumbledores office. Ron and Harry give Draco looks of anger and disgust.

"Well how is she?" Molly asks Snape

"She's alright, but she's refusing to leave, the dark Lord has claimed her on his side, she accepts. She's now on the other side" Snape says.

"No, this is Hermione we are talking about, she would never take his side" Ron says, Draco looks over at Ron.

"Well you obviously don't know anything about her" Draco says crossing his arms.

"She's my best friend-" "WAS, she was your best friend, how many times do I need to remind you and Potter you two aren't her friends anymore" Draco says interrupting Ron.

"What do we do Albus?" Molly asks, "she chose her side, her choice" Dumbledore says.
"What no, we can't leave her there! She needs to be on this side, she doesn't belong on that side" Blaise says.

"I know that, but she's refusing to come back, maybe during the war she will come to her senses." Dumbledore says
