Shiro: "Love is in the air. Since Avatar Korro has arrived in Republic City, He's only had eyes for one gal-- Y/n. The feeling seemed mutual until a fateful accident intervened! Now, Y/n's affections have fallen right into the arms of the handsome Asamir. Will love prove to be Korro's most formidable foe yet?" He questioned

At the Pro bending Arena

Snow gently fell into the ocean waters and all around Republic City while in the Pro bending gym, Korro was sparring against Bolin and Mako to train for the tournament before knocking each other off their feet and began laughing as Y/n walked into the gym with a tray of ice waters for her brothers and Korro.

Mako: "It's been great having you at so many back to back practices, Korro." He said as he took a glass of water from Y/n's tray after removing his helmet.

Korro: "Feels good to be back, although Tarrlok isn't too happy about my leave of absence." He said honestly before removing the sweat from his brow til Y/n handed him a towel along with a glass of water. "Thanks, N/n."

Y/n: "No problem, Korro. You guys have been working your hind quarters off for the tournament." She said honestly before smiling up at Korro making him blush.

Bolin: "Hey. You joined the Fire Ferrets before you joined his task force." He said seriously as he removed his helmet.

Mako: "okay, come on. Team huddle time." He said as the four huddled together. "It's our first match of the tournament tonight. I know the four of us haven't been a team for very long, but even so, the Fire Ferrets have never been this good. Are we ready?" He asked Bolin, Korro and Y/n.

Korro, Bolin and Y/n: "We're ready!" The three said excitedly until a familiar voice spoke up as they got out of the huddle.

Asamir: "Not quite. You'll need these." He said as he showed of the Fire Ferrets new uniforms with Future Industries logo on it for the guys.

Y/n: "Asamir, your early." She said before fixing her hair quickly as she pushed in between Bolin and Mako to walk over towards her boyfriend.

Asamir: "Good morning, My Fire Dancer." He said smiling as Y/n looked at the new uniforms.

Y/n: "These new uniforms look great. Thank you so much for doing this." She said honestly before smiling sweetly up at him.

Asamir: "You look great, Sweetheart." He said before they lightly kissed each other as Korro gagged in between Bolin and Mako in disgust.

Y/n: "Well, guys, I'll see you before the match tonight. Asamir and I have a lunch date." She said before they walked off together

Bolin: "Okay, We'll check you later then. Be safe, N/n." He said

Mako: "Bring our baby sister back home safe, Asamir." He said seriously before it was the boys alone in the gym as Korro began drinking his water.

Bolin: "So, Korro? How long have you had a crush on Y/n?" He questioned making Korro's eyes widened in shock before spitting his water out ironically into Mako's face.

Korro: *Coughs and chokes to breathe before his face bursted in a dark red* "Uh... I got to head back to the Air Temple to train with Tenzin. See ya later, guys!" He said before grabbing his duffel bag and ran out of the gym as Mako wiped his face off from spite water.

In the Attic Apartment

Mako was making some stir fry noodles for him and Bolin for lunch as Bolin was struggling to give Pabu a bath.

Bolin: "Work with me here, Pabu. You want to look spic and span in your new uniform, don't you?" He said to the struggling fire ferret whom was chittering anxiously before being successful put into the warm water filled basin bucket. "So... what do you think about Korro in a boyfriend sort of way for Y/n?" He asked Mako.

Mako: "He's great, but I think it makes more sense for Y/n to go for Asamir. He seems to give N/n a bit of a more normal life compared to our own." He said seriously before flipping the noodles. "I don't know, Bo. It just doesn't seem to be a good idea messing with Y/n's love life." He said honestly.

Bolin: "You just said he was great two seconds ago." He said seriously as he washed Pabu's fur.

Mako: "Yeah, Korro's a great athlete and Avatar and stuff, but I don't think he's really Y/n's type for a boyfriend. He's more like her best friend." He said honestly

Bolin: "Bro, you're nuts. Korro and Y/n are perfect for each other. He's strong, She's powerful. He's fun, She's kind. He's handsome, She's adorable." He said pointing out the facts til he picked up Pabu from the basin bucket. "Okay, I don't care what you think, I'm gonna fix Korro up on a date with Y/n." He said honestly with a plan in mind.

Mako: "Look, it just isn't smart to mess with our teammate's or our sister's feelings, especially during the tournament. Keep your matchmaking plans out of it and your priorities straight, okay?" He said seriously before going back to cooking.

Bolin: "Yeah, yeah, I know." He agreed before sighing softly then whispered to Pabu. "You know what I'm talking about, Pabu. Talking about real love."

At Air Temple Island

Korro was helping Jinora and Ikki fill up the lemur feeders with fresh fruit as Jinora asked Korro.

Jinora: "So, How's it going with the beautiful, lovingly firebender girl? You've been spending a lot of time together lately." She said honestly wanting to gossip

Ikki: "Ooh, yeah. Tell us all about the magical romance!" She asked squealing.

Korro: Climbed off the ladder before looking down at Jinora and Ikki. "What? *laughs nervously* listen to you two!" He said as he walked between them to set the empty basket by the other basket. "I'm-- I'm not interested in Y/n or any romantic stuff. *clears his throat lightly* Besides, She's all into that uptight, handsome, regal rich boy." He said sadly before looking over at the two girls. "But lets just pretend for a second I am interested in her-- What would I do?" He questioned as Jinora lite up.

Jinora: "Ooh, I just read a historical saga where the heroine fell in love with the enemy general's son who was supposed to marry the princess. You should do what she did." She explained

Korro: "Okay, I'll bite. Tell me." He asked intrigued.

Jinora: "She rode her dragon into battle and burned down the entire country. Then she jumped into a volcano. It was so romantic." She said while sighing softly.

Korro: "Uh... how is genocide and suicide romantic?" He asked no longer intrigued but wondered that was Jinora's definition of romance.

Ikki: "No, no, no! The best way to win a girl's heart is to brew a love potion of rainbows and sunsets that makes true lovers sprout wings and fly to a magical castle in the sky where they get married and eat clouds with spoons and use stars as ice cubes in their moonlight punch forever and ever and ever." She said before twirling herself into the air.

Korro: "The volcano is starting to make more sense to me now." He said until they heard laughing from Pema before looking over at the pregnant woman. "Oh, hey, Pema! Uh, how long were you standing there?" He questioned honestly embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Pema: "Long enough. But trust me, I know what you're going through. Years ago, I was in the exact same situation with Tenzin." She said honestly before walking over towards them.

Ikki: "Daddy was in love with someone else before you?" She asked her mother whom smiled at her winking.

Pema: "That's right." She said honestly before Korro asked her.

Korro: "So what did you do?" He asked Pema wanting to know how this could help him get his dream girl.

Pema: "Well, for the longest time I did nothing, I was so shy and scared of rejection. But watching my soulmate spend his life with the wrong woman became too painful. So I hung my chin out there, and confessed my love to Tenzin. And the rest is history." She said while her daughters were amazed by what their mother did and she gave Korro determination to tell Y/n how he truly felt about her.

First Match of the Tournament at the Pro bending Arena

Shiro: "Folks, after a year of waiting, the pro bending championship tournament is finally here. Tonight is the first set of matches in our single elimination, sixteen team bracket. And I gotta tell ya, these are the most tenacious and talented benders trios this arena has ever seen. After this match you all will see and hear our arena's fire dancer: Y/n of the Fire Ferrets." He announced as the crowd cheered out.

After winning their first match Y/n ran over hugging Korro tightly smiling.

Y/n: "Wow! You guys were really connecting out there in that ring." She said honestly before handing Korro a towel to wipe off his sweat.

Korro: "Yeah, you know, I feel like the two of us have been connecting really well together as well, too." He said honestly as he blushed nervously while Y/n tied her golden belt onto her waist.

Y/n: "Yeah, I couldn't agree more with you, Korro." She said honestly as she began styling her hair.

Korro: "So I was thinking we should spend some time together. I mean outside of the gym. And not while searching for kidnapped family members or fighting chi-blockers." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

Y/n: "I don't know Korro. Asamir and I are..." She said honestly leaning against the wall until Korro placed his hand beside her and looked down at her (eye color) eyes.

Korro: "Look, I really liked you since we first met months ago, and I think we were meant for each other." He said honestly making Y/n blush bright red at his confession before looking away from him.

Y/n: "Korro, I'm really sorry but... your confession is too late. I'm dating Asamir now and I still want us to be friends." She said honestly before Korro gently grabbed her hand and placed it over his heart so she could feel his heart beating rapidly for her.

Korro: "Then forget I ever said anything but I still love you, Y/n and I'd be happy to be your friend no matter what." He said before moving away from her so she could dance on the court.

After Y/n walked back into the locker room area Asamir opened the door congratulating Mako, Bolin and Korro before going over towards Y/n and kissing her on the lips lightly.

Asamir: "Congratulations, Guys. You were so amazing out there. And you were breathtaking out there, My beautiful fire dancer." He said smiling as Y/n smiled sweetly up at him before Korro looked over at her and his ocean blue eyes met Y/n's own (eye color) jewels.

Y/n: "Thank you, sweetie. I'm going to spend some time with Korro before the quarterfinal match tomorrow night, I promised him that I'd take him somewhere nostalgic to treat him for how much he's been helping the team out." She said honestly before quickly changing into her street clothes.

Asamir: "Okay, Be safe and watch out for her Korro." He said as Korro and Y/n headed out to one of Y/n's favorite water tribe restaurants in Republic City getting five flavor soup with seaweed noodles.

Y/n: *Quickly slurped up some noodles happily.* "So, how do you like it? I was right wasn't I?" She asked swallowing her noodles down.

Korro: "Mmm, it's delicious, and totally authentic. Man, I didn't realize how much I missed water tribe grub." He said smiling as he slurped down some his own noodles.

Y/n: "That's great because this is one of my favorite restaurants. I figured that you would like something that reminded you of home and as congrats." She said honestly before laughing at Korro seeing his chipmunk cheeks.

Korro: "They are good noodles." He said swallowing his chewed up noodles before looking over Y/n's shoulder. "Hey, who's that creepy guy over there that keeps leering at us?" He asked as Y/n looked over her shoulder to growl angrily as she gripped her chopsticks tightly making her knuckles turn white.

Y/n: "That's Tahno and the Wolf-bats, the reigning champs three years running and my stupid ex boyfriend. Don't make eye contact, Korro." She said til she noticed that Korro was glaring at Tahno as she watched them get up and walk over towards them. "Oh no, here he comes. Now don't mess with him, he's a real peice of sky bison dung." She said seriously until her face was tilted upward by her ex boyfriend.

Tahno: "Well, well, well. If it isn't the Fire Ferrets Fire Dancer-- Tell me how's your pro bending's saddest excuse for a team, my little turtle duckling.~" He asked while using a flirtatious tone of voice as Y/n slapped his hand off of her face. "Tell me, how did a couple of amateurs like you luck your way into the tournament?" He questioned before looking over at Korro. "Especially, you, Uh-vatar." He questioned as Korro growled angrily at him especially when he leaned down on Y/n's seat while she moved away from him. "You know Turtle duckling, if you want I can still give you private lessons on how a real pro bends just like old times? I remember how much you enjoyed them.~" He said about to kiss her until Korro slammed his hands onto the table making Y/n look over at him and Tahno stand up straight.

Korro: "Leave her alone, you want to go toe to toe with me, Pretty boy?" He snarled angrily as he got up from his seat.

Tahno: "Go for it. I'll give you the first shot." He said taunting Korro.

Y/n: Quickly stood up from her chair and placed her hands onto Korro's chest making him back off slightly. "Korro, don't fall for his taunts, He's trying to bait you. You hit him, we're out of the tournament." She explained calmly to him as Korro looked down at her before sighing softly knowing sucker punching Tahno wasn't worth it. Y/n smiled up at Korro until she squealed sharply when a certain someone smacked her on the butt before she glared up at Tahno. "Korro, what ever you were planning do it." She said seriously as Korro brought his fingers up to his mouth whistling sharply for Naga then Y/n began laughing uncontrollably at Tahno whimpering in fright before walking away as Korro joined into her laughter. "Korro, that was amazing I've never seen anyone razz Tahno like that except me when I was dating him. You are one of kind, Korro." She said honestly before they paid for their noodles then headed to a malt shop.

Korro and Y/n were sipping fizzy soda drinks from separate glasses with bendy straws before Korro belched in front of Y/n before covering his mouth embarrassed that he had done that in front of her until she smirked mischievously as she belched back at him then a challenge for best belch happened with Y/n winning by doing a loud belch making Korro go wide eyed until he laughed impressed. The two then headed to Republic City's tower that overlooked the whole city, Y/n pointed out to Korro the best places in the city even where they had first met smiling happily while unknowingly Korro was looking down at her blushing til they headed back to their homes to rest for their quarter final match.

Next day at Mid-afternoon

Mako was waiting outside the building and stopped Korro to talk to him before they walked into the building for their quarterfinal match.

Mako: "What kind of game are you playing?" He asked Korro seriously.

Korro: "Uh... Pro bending. We've got a quarterfinal match." He said confused.

Mako: "No, I mean with Y/n. You are going to confuse her into a tizzy, and I don't want you to end up hurting her." He said seriously

Korro: "I am not. We're just having fun together as friends, Mako. Man, Bolin was right you really are overprotective of Y/n." He said seriously

Mako: "I'm looking out for my little sister. I don't want to see her get her heart broken again like when she was dating Tahno." He said seriously before Y/n stormed over towards the two and pushed Mako into the building.

Y/n: "What is going on with you and my brother fighting?" She questioned while Korro looked down at her. "Look my feelings are not your business, Korro." She said honestly as a blush showed on her face.

Korro: He looked down at her before smirking devilishly. "Wait a minute, your blushing. You still have feelings for me." He said as Y/n growled at him.

Y/n: "What? No, I told you that we can only be friends, Korro. Don't be ridiculous." She said while crossing her arms under her bosom.

Korro: "Admit it, you like me." He said egging her on.

Y/n: "No, I'm with Asamir." She said seriously getting in Korro's personal space.

Korro: "Yeah, but when you're with him, you're thinking about me, aren't you?" He said honestly as Y/n groaned at his stubbornness.

Y/n: "Get over yourself, Korro." She said seriously before her hands tightened into fists.

Korro: "I'm just being honest about how I feel about you." He said honestly towards Y/n.

Y/n: "You're crazy!" She yelled out loud angrily snapping at Korro before walking away from him.

Korro: "You are lying to yourself!" He yelled out after her before going into the building through another door.

Quarterfinals at the Pro bending Arena

Shiro: "Eight teams have been eliminated, and eight advance into the quarterfinals which get under way tonight. The rookies are about to take on former and longest reigning champs- the Boar q pines. Youth clashes against experience in a battle for the ages-- or rather, of the ages." He announced as the match began.

Y/n cheered out loud as Bolin won the quarterfinals for the Fire Ferrets til she looked away from Korro feeling guilty about their fight before the match while he changed clothes and stormed outside so she followed after him.

Y/n: "Korro, we need to talk. Look, sometimes you can be so infuriating." She starts to explain to him until Korro spoke up.

Korro: "Save your breath. You've already made it clear how you feel about me." He said as Y/n walked towards him until she was beside him.

Y/n: "No, I haven't. Just listen to me, okay. Look as much as you drive me crazy, I also think you're pretty amazing. Your selfless when you didn't have to help me find Bolin but you did, you even stood up for me when you met Tahno before I could knock his lights out." She said honestly to Korro as she looked up at him.

Korro: Looked over at Y/n before his eyes met hers. "So you do like me?" He questioned as Y/n looked down at the ground slightly annoyed by the question.

Y/n: "Yes, but-- *sighs* I like Asamir, too. I don't know, things are complicated right now. I've been feeling really confused and I--" She was saying until Korro wrapped his arm around her waist while he pulled her into a deep and passionate kiss shocking her at the suddenness with wide eyes before her eyes slowly closed as she moved one of her hands onto his neck while the other rested against his strong chest blushing bright red.

Y/n returned Korro's kiss as his hands rested on the small of her back with the feelings that she had for him til they both moved back from each other. Korro rested his forehead onto Y/n's as he smiled down at her sweetly until Y/n slapped him across the face.

Korro: Held his stinging cheek as he looked at Y/n. "Ow! Why in the spirits did you just slap me?!" He yelled at her as he looked up to see Bolin was watching them.

Y/n: "You kissed me! Uuuhhhh! I told you that I'm dating Asamir and you-- you seaweed brain!!" She yelled at him angrily as her cheeks were bright red hue from a fresh blush paired with her rage.

Korro: "You kissed me back and I know you liked it!" He yelled back at her only to be sucker punched in the stomach by Y/n before she turned around to run off to see Bolin was watching them.

Y/n: "You saw all that and you didn't think to stop him? You, Bolin are the worst brother ever!" She shouted out angrily and humiliated as white flames covered her fists before tears began running down her cheeks then she ran off away from her family and friend.

Korro: Coughed as he breathed sharply from the impact of Y/n's punch while he watched her run off. "Well played, Korro. You probably just lost Y/n forever, damn it you really are a seaweed brain." He said to himself before comforting Bolin from Y/n's harsh words while Mako was comforting a sobbing Y/n.

Semi-finals at the Pro bending Arena

Korro walked into the locker room to get ready for tonight's match seeing Mako and Bolin were not speaking to each other while Y/n was dancing with her white fire more intensely out on the ring. Korro sighed softly before getting his uniform on as no one talked to him and Y/n ignored him when she left the ring for the match to begin.

Shiro: "You can't find two teams more evenly matched in age, size, and strength than the Fire Ferrets and the Buzzard-wasps. Believe me, I've looked. This should be a pulse pounding semifinal, folks. Especially after that intense fire dance from Y/n, you can tell that she is angry by the heat of her flames." He said as the bell dinged to signal the match to begin. "The Buzzard-wasps open with a flawless executed combo which has knocked all three ferrets into an early visit to zone two and Mako's knocked all the way back into zone three! The Fire Ferrets have been struggling to stay alive since the opening bell. All three players are totally out of sync tonight." He announced as Y/n winced as Bolin was hit by an earth disk to the gut making him vomit while the crowd is disgusted. "And Bolin loses his noodles, literally. Which reminds me, this match is brought to you by our sponsor, Flamy-O instant noodles. "Noodley-est Noodles in the United Republic." He said.

Y/n watched the match progress as Bolin was knocked into zone three along with Korro while the Buzzard wasps entered Fire Ferret territory until Mako was plunged into the pool below as his helmet was knocked off his head by the Buzzard wasps's earth bender.

Y/n: "Mako!" She yelled out worried about him as the medics timeout out the match when Bolin and Korro were saved by the bell.

Shiro: "And the Ferrets are bailed out by the bell. They had better pull themselves together, folks, for round two. Otherwise they can kiss the finals goodbye. And it looks like our Fire Ferrets dancer, Y/n will be taking Mako's spot in the second round." He said as the medics treated Mako, Y/n had changed into her own fire bending uniform of the Fire Ferrets and entered the ring beside Korro. Once the second match began water, earth disks and white fire shot out from the ferrets before Bolin was knocked into the pool, Korro did a blatant hold on the Buzzard wasps's fire bender as the referee called out unnecessary roughness and had to move back one zone along with getting a yellow fan. "And the Avatar is slapped with a yellow fan. The Ferrets are their own worst enemy right now. It's just sad to watch. With the Buzzard wasps leading two rounds to zilch, The Ferrets only hope of winning is with a knockout." He announced

Y/n: "I guess there's always next year with the way we're playing, we don't even deserve to be in the finals." She said honestly as Bolin and Korro looked up at her.

Korro: "Come on, we still have a chance, even if it is a slim one. Look, if we don't pull together and work as a team, we'll never forgive ourselves." He said as Y/n glared up at him and Bolin.

Y/n: "Let's just get this over with and the sooner the better." She said while the three took their stances and the bell dinged for the match to begin only for Bolin to be knocked into zone two until Y/n was placed there next then Korro got hit with a earth disk on the wrist in a clean hit along with Bolin taking one to the shoulder. "Korro, Bolin!" She yelled out concerned for her brother and friend until she was knocked into the pool below then so was Bolin. Y/n helped Bolin out of the pool. "Are you okay? How's your shoulder?" She asked him worried.

Bolin: Groans in pain before answering his sister. "It's messed up pretty bad but I think I'll be all right." He said as they walked into the elevator. "Are you going to be all right?" He asked Y/n.

Y/n: "Of course I am, just miffed a bit but I can't stay mad at my big brother for long. Besides we always get through any mess that life throws at us. I'm sorry that I yelled at you last night. *groans embarrassed* Boys, Seriously." She said honestly while making Bolin laugh then soon did she before they both was something incredible.

(Korro's Epic Knockout!)

Shiro: "It's the big kabosh! What a knockout!" He announced excitedly as the bell dinged. "It didn't seem possible, folks, but The Fire Ferrets are heading to the finals!" Y/n cheered out loud with Bolin and even Mako when he woke up.

Bolin: "That was pretty much the coolest thing I've ever seen." He said honestly as Korro removed his helmet from his head.

Mako: "Thanks for not giving up on us. We never would've made it this far without you. I owe you, big time." He said towards Korro as he smiled

Y/n: Walked over towards Korro and grabbed the wrist that she saw was hit by an earth disk making Korro bite onto his lower lip in pain. "Let me see how bad it is, Korro then you can hopefully heal Bolin's shoulder." She said honestly as they sat down at the bench while Y/n removed her helmet, Korro took off his uniform shirt carefully as Y/n got the first aid kit out to treat his injury before using her fire healing.

Korro: "You're Welcome, Mako." He said as he looked over at Y/n before looking aside. "So... I know things are confusing right now, but I hope we can still be friends." He said honestly as he looked down at her.

Y/n: Smiled up at Korro before she began healing his bruised wrist slowly with a calm white flame in her palm. "Definitely." She said honestly til her eyes landed on the Wolf-bats.

Tahno: Takes a sniff of the air before acting like he smelt something foul. "Oh, oh. You boys smell something in here?" He asked his team mates before looking over at Mako, Bolin and Korro. "Wait, I know what that is. Yeah, that's the scent of losers." He said smirking as Y/n walked towards him glaring at him.

Y/n: "I hope we see you in the finals. Then we'll see who the real losers, really are. In fact Tahno I bet you that you'll lose." She growled angrily at him until he smirked devilishly at her.

Tahno: "Your on, My little Turtle Duckling but when you and the Ferrets lose. How about I get a date with you, instead." He said seriously as he held his hand out towards her and she gripped it harshly while Y/n snarled at him then he walked towards his team.

Y/n: "Deal, but when the Ferrets win. You stop trying to win me back, you stupid piece of sky bison dung." She said seriously as her brothers and Korro looked at her.

Shiro: "And now, The defending champs, The White Falls Wolf-bats!" He announced

Asamir ran into the locker room and hugged Y/n as Bolin winced from his injured shoulder before Korro began to heal him up.

Asamir: "Great job! What a comeback, Korro. I've never seen a hat trick like that." He said honestly impressed as he kissed Y/n's cheek making her blush.

Korro: "Thanks, but if it hadn't been for you and your father, we wouldn't have had the chance to play. So thank you." He said seriously as he kept healing Bolin. "And your lucky to have Y/n, she really is one of a kind." He said as Y/n smiled at Korro until Shiro announced the winners.

Shiro: "Your winners... The Wolf-bats!" He announced as Korro, Mako, Bolin, Asamir and Y/n looked over at the ring.

Korro: "What? How is it over already?" He questioned as Y/n glared down at Tahno.

Y/n: "Tahno, you dirty cheater..." she growled angrily before taking a calming breath to keep her cool.

Shiro: "With a brutal round one knockout,  The defending champs secure their spot in the finals. I hope the Ferrets know a good doctor, because they're gonna need one!" He announced as Korro,  Mako, Bolin and Y/n saw the damage Tahno and the Wolf-bats had done to the opposite team.
