Me: What's behind your username?

japanhairzayn: It's derived from the Legendary Zayn's -an ex-member of One Direction- hairstyle while they were in Japan back in 2013. Or 2014. I don't remember. xD

Me: [A Directioner, I see ;) ] What country are you from?

japanhairzayn: I'm from Bangladesh! :)

Me: Why did you join Wattpad?

japanhairzayn: I was reading a Niall fanfiction (spare me please) called Stranger something, which I had discovered from Facebook. I immediately took a liking to it and then it started -- all back in 2012. I opened my account way later, though.

Me: What was it like when you first started writing?

japanhairzayn: It was horrifying, to be honest. It was disgusting. I was such a bad writer, not that I think I write better now :P It was really bad. Like, it was unoriginal and useless. It was so random. I'm so thankful that I have read better books and got better ideas with better writing styles. :)

Me: Who is your favorite author here on Wattpad?

japanhairzayn: I have loads! Oh my god, how can I choose? Well, since I'm into KPOP nowadays (and I've forgotten most of the non-KPOP writers), my favorites are @yifanforever (hands down bae), @redvelvetts (other bae), @zitao (literal sister), @baekhyun (<3 ), and yup that's basically it. C:

Me: [OMG, same! KPOP's ruining my life xD ] Where do you get your ideas from?

japanhairzayn: To be honest, it just randomly pops out! Like, when I'm showering and I get this idea, and I decide and debate for a few weeks before I actually start writing it. C:

Me: *nods head* How do you deal with Writer's Block?

japanhairzayn: Writer's Block for me is really, really pressuring. Like, I update my books all in one go, and then I can't write for a week. I don't feel like it. But I have this bad habit of forcefully writing, even though it sucks than usual. I usually force myself to write during Writer's Block.

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

japanhairzayn: I don't really know, to be honest. I'm generally a social and jumpy person so I tend to embarrass myself a lot. C:

Me: Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

japanhairzayn: I have this idea in my mind, and I'm currently writing and it might even be posted soon, but there's no sureness. It's a Sehun fanfiction, which makes it two Sehun fanfics I have in my drafts. C;

Me: Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

japanhairzayn: Well, I'll be honest, Wattpad should be enjoyed mostly. Don't take pressure from the comments or anyone in general. Write if you feel like it, don't force yourself. This website is one of the reasons why I am who I am today. The community is beautiful and the friends are the ones who are most likely to stay... forever <3
