INTERVIEW WITH: @HUNTELLA :)

Me: What's behind your username?

HUNTELLA: I don't know if it's obvious or not, but Sehun is my ultimate bias, so I wanted to incorporate his name in my username. The final name is Huntella, which is Sehun + Nutella~! All my usernames are Huntella or Taopioca (Tao + Tapioca).

Me: What country are you from?

HUNTELLA: Toronto, Canada ^.^ I went to the same high school as Henry from Super Junior. :D

Me: Oh, my gosh. Really? That is freakin' awesome! O-O

HUNTELLA: Yeah, >~< too bad he graduated years before I entered the school.

Me: [Aww. Too bad] Why did you join Wattpad?

HUNTELLA: I used to be a 1D fan and I needed a way to read fanfiction on the go and I found this :3 At the time, I would also write fantasy stories of my own since I needed a place to show my work to other for feedback. I noticed how user friendly and fun wattpad is, so I then recommended it to friends ^.^ Now I just write EXO fanfiction, though. XD

Me: What was it like when you first started writing?

HUNTELLA: Well, I suck at English, so my writing was never the greatest in terms of descriptions and punctuations. This instantly made my stories shit... Wait, am I allowed to swear? I'm so sorry >~< . English was not my first language (French was), so I found writing in English very hard in the beginning.

I wrote horror stories and read a lot as a kid, but slowly as the years went by, I stopped reading, which is why I never improved. :(

Me: Where do you get your ideas from?

HUNTELLA: EVERYTHING! :D I can make up a story about anything, but I tend to listen to a lot of music and lyrics give me ideas. ^.^

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

HUNTELLA: Writer's block is the death of me! It's the worst when you're in the middle of writing a story and you get stuck. I simply do nothing until I find more inspiration or once people start to encourage me. ^.^ Words from others always light a fire within me.

Me: Who are your favorite author's here on Wattpad?

HUNTELLA: I usually just read fanfic a reposted from AFF and Shakespeare, but if I had to choose, ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) (ugh she's probably going to kill me for this) my favourite author here would be @HCLandsteiner! Her writing is simply perfection in my opinion and her stories all revolve around my favourite themes~! (Alice in Wonderland, Circus, etc.)

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

HUNTELLA: I rarely get embarrassed and I tend to not express many emotions. Hmmm...I guess it was the time in grade 5 and we had art class. I was wearing light coloured pants and I spilled brown paint in that area...and it looked like a period stain. Someone even pointed it out. >~<

Me: *speechless for a moment* Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

HUNTELLA: I have a lot actually, but I'll mention only a few. ^.^

Cirque: EXO fanfic in which they are all acts in a circus full of secrets and lies.Noir: Apocalypse!au in which Sehun was a doctor during the zombie apocalypse. Luhan is born after where the antidote for 'the bug' causes everyone to not see colours. Sehun describes the real beauty of Earth to Luhan.Rococo: 1700's!au Sehun (Stephan) and Luhan live in 1700's France. Sehun is a prince who falls for the foreign soldier, Luhan.Sushi Boy: EXO gang!au in which EXO is split into two separate gangs of different focal crimes in Japan.

Me: Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

HUNTELLA: I'm horrible at giving advice, but I'll try ^.^ I'd say never limit your imagination. Don't write about what others may like or what's most likely to gain more reads. Write for yourself and write whatever you think is great. :)
