When I wake up I find myself in a strange and unfamiliar place. It takes me a moment to step back into reality. " Makayla! Mom! Dad!" I scream. "Relax darling, the little girl is alright." says the mysterious guy who rescued me. "What is your name?" I ask. " Kol Mikaelson" he states coyly. " And you are?" he asks. "Annabelle Cromwell," I say quietly. "You have a beautiful name" He says with the kindest smile I have ever seen in my life. "Where is my family?" I ask as I enter back into reality. "The one you pointed out like your sister is in the other room," he said calmly. "Where are my parents? " I ask. "I'm very sorry love when I got there they were already dead only you and the little one were alive." He said with a dead expression. I couldn't even figure out what he was feeling from his dialect. For a moment I sit there just trying to understand what he was saying . Then it hit me like a brick wall me and my little sister were now on our own. They had abandoned us. I start to break out into sobs. The person I now knew as Kol took me in his arms I bury my head in his chest. "Sh it's alright, Don't worry, everything is going to be alright." He says attempting to be comforting. I drift off into a deep sleep.
