Journey to the Throat of the World
Heyo guys, I have to much time to kill, so why not update? Here you go!
Dagger's POV
It has been excatly three months since I have come back to High Horgath and and I have never felt so much pain as I had in my life. Other than Rister.
I go over to Arneiger who smil;ed and hands me a new blade.
"Dagger, for completing our training, not only are you able to know all the secret arts of the Grey beards, you are able to become one of us after you are done with you destiny." Arneiger said. I smiled and looked down at the blade. It was slick and black, ebony and an unknow material made the shadows ashamed and the hilt had a bright blue on it.
"It is enchanted to not only sucks in souls, but bind them to you. All abilites that that person has, is given to you." Arneiger said. I put it in it's sheath and bowed.
"Now, how are we going to deal with Alduin again?" Arneiger. I held my chin. Delphine said something about a shout. I need to find out a Shout, but what did it do again? I thought about the Wall again and I remembered.
"A Shout that could knock a dragon out of the sky." I said. Arneiger visible stiffened and his eyes turned cold.
"Tell me again....who told you about this?" Arneiger said with a rising voice.
"The Blades." I said. Arneiger shaked at that thought and shook his head.
"We do not know that Shout." Arneiger saird.
"So, that means all hope is lost..." I said.
"No, there is one being that knows about this Shout. We do not regret this loss. That Shout was evil." Arneiger said.
"It's the only way to put Alduin to the ground and take him down." I said. Arneiger nodded and started to walk outside.
"Then it can not be helped." Arneiger said. We both went outside where the other three Grey beards were at the steps of the Gate. The Gate was an open gate with harsh winds blowing through the air. It was harmful, harmful enough to kill you and only a few selective people knew how to get through the Gate. Thoes selective people were, of course, the Grey beards.
"Through this Gate is our leader, he will tell you how to gain this Shout." Arneiger said. He grabbed my shoulder and with sad eyes patted my head.
"This is our last gift to you Dragon born..." Arneiger said as he stepped away and started to make Dragon Words on the floor. He backed away from them and I went up to them and before long, it was etched into my memory. Arneiger started to glow and gave me the knowledge of the three words and I backed away from them.
"Thank you, thank you for so much." I said. They all smiled and I bowed before going up to the entrance of the Gate. I breathed out and opened my mouth before screaming out the Shout and soon, The Gate was cleared from the harsh wind.
"Hurry, they only hold off for so long!" Arneiger said and I ran as fast as I could. The wind picked up again when I got to a bridge and I Shouted while running. I avoided an Ice Wraith and saw a few goats. I only shook my head and con tinued on words.
The wind picked up again and I Shouted and entered an entrance-like place. The wind that was there was seperate, and in between two rocks. I panted, tired from my running and I Shouted one last time and I nearly fell to the ground and I went into the area.
Flaps from wings were heard and I looked around. A large dragon swooped in from the air and landed on the crumniling Word Wall beofre going into the air aain. I grabbed my bow and soon, it fell in front of me.
"Grelm, welcome Dragon Bron, I am Parrthunax, leader of the Grey beard." The dragon said. He bowed his head and moved in a fluid way around me. I could only look up at him with shock.
"Wait, the leader of the Grey beards, is a dragon?" I said. Parrthunax laughed and stopped moving. He put his rump on the ground and looked down at me.
"Yes elf, and it's nice to finally meet you." Parrthunax said and my head felt woozy and I fell to the ground.
Parrthunax's POV
Forgot that mortals can't breath as well when it came to high altitudes.....
