Demon
Dagger's POV
I sighed as I arrived back at Riften. I went through the gates and watched as all the townspeople run to and from their homes and shops. Something has been going on while I was away.
"Dagger?" I heard a snobbish voice say and I turn around to see Maven.
"Yes Maven?" I said putting my hands on my wiast.
"Rister...something is wrong with your son." Maven said and that made me panicked.
"Why? What's wrong? What happened to him?" I said freaking out.
"Uh....someone may of took him while you were away." Maven said, slightly scared. If I could get Maven Black-Briar scared, everyone would be terrified. Speaking of which, no one was at the shop center, everyone in theur houses or in the two hotels.
I ran down to the coffin and went in from their, the to bodyguards looked down, knowing I was pissed. I glared at them and smacked the head of one.
"Where is my son?" I growled. They looked down in shame as I continued to walk the middle of the Cavern and I shouted for a meeting. A literal Shout. It went to the ceiling and I growled, not bothering to hide my Dragon soul any longer. Everyone ran to come in and Brynjolf was nowhere to be seen.
"Where is Brynjolf, and more importantly, how did a group of 75 people lose a child?!" I said, seething in rage. Delvin came up to me and put a hand on my arm and I calmed down a bit. I put a hand on my face and paced.
"Someone please tell me how this happened?" I said looking at the group.
"Well. a couple of weeks when you left to take care of the Dragon, we had this note." A new recruit said to me while giving me the letter. I nodded to him and read it.
'Dagger,
Gold, Dragon Bone, and Jeweles won't pay off this debt.
Instead, a life will.
An eye for an eye
A child for a child.
You will pay this with Rister
~Demon'
I growled and crushed the letter with my hand and I sighed.
"Who is Demon?" I said.
"That was what we have been working on. We couldn't contact the Lizard in Solitude because you put the contacts in the Vault." Delvin said. I rubbed my forehead.
"Vex, Delvin, I would say go get it, but without Brynjolf's key, we can't open it. Send someone to the shiping place, let me write a quick leter." I said going to the desk. The other members watched with fearful eyes, who would go? She was the last one to ever go there and ever since the guards had tripled at the place.
"I need someone to go and take this to that damned lizard." I said with a huff. A cocky dark elf came up.
"I'll do it." He said.
"Name...I haven't been here for a while." I said looking at him.
"Maybe you shouldn't be Gui-" He started before I raised a dagger to his throat and he stopped.
"I think you shouldn't say the next word." I said before glaring at him. He nodded. I stood up and gave him the letter and brushed back my hair and waved everyone off.
"Get back to work." I said and I went to Delvin. "Where is Brynjolf?" I said worried.
"He went looking for Rister." Delvin said.
"Okay...where did he go?" I said.
".....He's at Summer Isles. That's where the note came from." I felt a shock coming from and i sighed.
"Thalmor.....those idiots." I said and I looked up at him. "This sucks, I have to go back." i said.
"Wait! Who is going to take care of the Guild?" Delvin said. I sighed and went to my bed. I looked over the people I knew wouldn't rat out the Guild. No military, nor Companions.....Veezara.
"Veezara.....alright. Delvin, please take care of the Guild until a lizard name Veezara comes." I said going to the door and I went to the door and I looked around. I could already felt eyes on me and I looked over to where the eyes were.
"Come on out Veezara." I said and the said being came over to me.
"I have a favor." I said.
"What is it?" Veezara said.
"I have to go to Summer Isles." I said and Veezara widened his eyes.
"Why?" He said.
"My son is missing....and Brynjolf thinks he's there." I said and I walked away as Veezara went to the door.
"I'll take care of everyhing.....I'll try." He said and he went thrugh the door and I went to the exit and went to Shadowmere.
"Great....time to talk to my blessed uncle." I said before galloping away.
