Dagger's POV 

I walk start to walk on my journey to this damnable quest like any other. I go straight to the Thieves Guild because something was off. I could feel it. Once I teleported there, I saw more than just blood on the entrance. I quickly open the thieves guild's entrance and I jump down and run in. It was covered in red, blood was oozing from the dead body that was from the new recruit. A couple of others were dead. Rune, Sapphire, and Niruin (sp?).

"Who... What?"  I started before I fell to the ground. "Guys..." I said before I started to cry. I put my hands against my face and felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly grabbed my dagger and held it up against the person who was touching me's neck.

"Lass! It was just me!" Brynjolf said. I relaxed and put it away.

"Who did this!" I said wiping my tears off.

"It was a Breton. We didn't get him fast enough..." he said.

"Did he have a scar?" I said with a deadly voice. He looked at me and nodded slowly. I clenched my hands tight enough to draw a bit of blood.

"He was for me." I growled out. Brynjolf put his hand on my shoulders and I sighed softly  as he held me against his chest.

"I understand that you want them dead. But remember, we have to have a clear head about this." He said and I nodded before more tears cleared out of my eyes. Sapphire was my friend in a way. Before I was guild master, she helped me with all the little jobs and we were so competitive against each other, but in a friendly way. Rune was nice to me and Niruin always helped me with my arching skills. Sometimes for free.

"I have to do something." I said and I went over to my desk and started to write.

TIMEEEEEE SKIPPPPPP OF SADNESSSSSSSS ( I KILLED OF SAPPHIRE ;-; )

I allowed my eagle to fly and Brynjolf went up to me and steered me towards my bed. It was night time now and he helped me relaxed.

"Dagger, are you okay?" he said. I nodded, the blood was gone and the bodies were cleared.

"Brynjolf, I'm not fine. He was for me. Why did he kill them!?" I said.

"He said it was a message." Brynjolf said. I looked up at him.

"So you just watched him kill them!" I said silently.

"Of course not! I was almost dead when he said it." Brynjolf said. I nodded and hugged him.

"Sorry...can we sleep now?" I said and he nodded and I grinned happily.

"After all of this blows over and you save the world, we can finally calm down and get back to being thieves and assassins." he said patting my head. I chuckled.

"That sounds nice." I said falling asleep.

I woke up with Brynjolf sitting up on a chair with two new recruits.

"There she is. Wake up lass, I want you to meet someone." he said. I waved him off for a second.

"Hold on , I'm tired ya Nord." I said grinning at him.

"She's racist." one of the others whispered.

"No, I say that for fun." I said rolling my eyes. "People these days need to lighten up." I said as I sat up. "Who are they?" I said as I cracked my neck.

"New recruits." Brynjolf said. "Obviously." 

I rolled my eyes. "Alright....let's see what we can do for you two to start off. Brynjolf, do you think they can go into the Blue Palace?" i said.

"And get what?" Brynjolf said.

"In the Vault, there is a crystal that can command dragons to follow your orders. This is a very old one, and valuable since the dragons have came back, so I need it for what I plan to do next." I said as Brynjolf nodded.

"Hope you have your lock picks kids." I said as they nodded and walked out. The door opened again and a familiar lizard walked in.

"You needed me?" Veezara said. I got up and led him over to my desk.

"There is a Breton I need you to keep an eye on for me. Normally I would pay one of my theieves to watch over him, but he just killed three of my friends." I said, hissing out the last part.

Veezara's eyes widen. "You sound pissed. Alright I'll do it." He said. I nodded and gave him 3000 septims.

"Straight from my pocket. I want tabs next time I'm at the Sanctuary. Tell Astrid I'm sorry for taking you out on this." I said.

Astrid know about this. You're fine." He said. I nodded.

"See ya."
