Dagger'sPOV

I finish off my last contract before I sat down on the victim's chair and sighed. This has been a long week. Astrid has been thinking about that Breton who has a contract for us that wanted us to kill to Emperor. I was up for it, but right now I needed a break.

I drag myself back into the base before I laid down in bed. Veezara approached me before I feel asleep.

"Astrid wishes to speak to you." He says.

"Crap....I just need to sleep. Can I have a couple hours?" I said looking up at him.

"She needs you right now." The lizard said.

"Alright." I groaned getting up.

"Heh, the leader of the Thieves guild is tired? She shouldn't of been an assassin then." Veezara said.

"Not my fault Mercer Frey was a traitor, and that everyone else wanted me to be guild master." I hissed out. Veezara laughed before I walked out to Astrid.

"I have decided that we will go through with this contract. We just need to check the amulet that you brought back. Use your guild ties for this." Astrid says handing me the amulet. I nodded before I took it and ran out to the door, teleporting to Riften.

I arrive through the fake grave and tracked down Bryn before I handed the an amulet to him.

"How do you not know about this? This is the empire's elder amulets! They're worth a fortune! Here's a paper with a money wavier that will pay for anything with the expensive of that amulet." Bryn said. His dark orange hair was roughed up from constant days of covering for me while I was gone.

"Thanks Bryn....now take a rest. I'll stay here for awhile before I have to leave okay?" I said while rubbing his shoulders.

"Thanks..." He says as he relaxes his shoulders and walked into a bed before crashing.

"Poor Bryn." I said before I walking to my desk and started working. I whispered in my dragon language after checking that no one was watching me and I lit a candle with the flame shout. I started to do my work and I groaned as I see that Bryn did almost all of the work.

"I told him that he didn't have to push himself. I need to get my Nightingale armor and then finish this last thing...and possible get something for Bryn." I said closing my book and pulling on my armor.
